Hey guys, i know some guys who have managed to get program working, without being connected with the Ethernet Cable. Is this possible? How would you explain something like that?
Has their Wi-Fi connection been spitted in two parts? One to connect PC>Internet and the other as the Hotspot? I really can't explain this.. Thank you for the answers :)
Thank you for your quick answer :) Now I've got to try that :)I dont use an ethernet cable, and i can run it fine. Where it says 'shared connection' i just shoose wireless network connection and im good. I dont have an ethernet cable, to far away from the modem :)
I have the same problem as you, sometimes i can even pass the check connetion, but ingame i can't connect to the internet =(
Let's do it. I have Instacheck on and need to check eggs myself.I need to check some eggs. Anyone online?
edit: np all done
I am going to check some eggs too. Is anyone online?
I think BTM is having the same problem I am, in that the adapter box is blank and doesn't give us the anything to select so it doesn't scanTsukiMegami:
I can't say for sure, as I don't know the inner workings of it all, but I'd suggest this: Try it with all your extra wifi stuff off (no uTorrent, firefox, messengers, etc.), just have the 3DS going through it. I base the suggestion on the way it's worded; it sounds like it's trying to pick it out from too much data.
deviruchi: ...yes. You have to have at least one unconnected wireless adapter (in addition to your wired/less one that provides you internet).
Also, simply that it can detect wifi doesn't mean anything helpful, since if it's not wifi-capable, it'd be completely useless for this. ^_^;
@BakuyaTheMawile: Are you sure the 3DS is connected actively to the internet through the PC, for certain? (I make sure by removing the last digit of any other connections saved in the 3DS, so I can restore them later) Also, are you sure you're scanning the correct Adapter? It has to be the one the 3DS is connected to (wifi), not any other.

the only way to get a wireless card is to buy it online right?
I had this same issue, deleting all the other network connections and going to instacheck and clicking "start scanning" worked for me. Also, I've heard of selecting "Microsoft - Wireless Network Connection" in the drop down above "start scanning" being helpful for some people. I hope this helps.Does anyone know the fix for failed connection test? I'm pretty sure I've done everything right. I've disabled firewall, done cmd and everything I've seen in this thread that's a possible fix but I still cant get it to work.
Since, I can't get this thing to work properly for myself, Is anyone willing to check a box of eggs for me?
When it's blank like that, Winpcap didn't install correctly. Did you have any errors while installing? If you had any errors about packet.dll or wpcap.dll try this, and then reinstall.I think BTM is having the same problem I am, in that the adapter box is blank and doesn't give us the anything to select so it doesn't scan
