20 eggs is a drop in the ocean. If you are getting bored at this point then you should probably look into something else. I know a guy in the OI chat who has hatched over 2400 Fletchling eggs trying to get Shiny Adamant Gale Wings with 5+ IV's. Breeding takes a lot of time if you want to do it right.
Wow that's a lot of eggs (and time). Have they tried PokeCheck yet? It's a LOT faster that way, if they're looking for a flawless shiny, as they can check both IVs and shiny values without hatching them.

eh still confusing.. i switched it up and am breeding my 3IV froakie with a 2IV ditto, with teh 2 IVs in different stats than my froakie, and i have gotten a total of 0 4IV froakies after about 20 eggs

Replace that Ditto with a 2 or 3 IV Froakie ASAP. You can't improve Dittos but you'll slowly hatch Froakies with better and better IV's. The better the parents, the better the IV's.

I'm making an EV spread for a Mega Venusaur. I want to invest 252 EVs in any combination of HP, Defense, and Special Defense in order to achieve maximum overall bulk possible with this EV allotment. At level 50, 232 HP/0 Def/20 SpD would result in 187 HP, and 143 in both Defense and Special Defense. However, from what I understand, you want your HP and defenses to be as close as possible, based on the way the game calculates damage. Accordingly, a spread of 12 HP/108 Def/136 SpD would render all three stats equal at 157, theoretically providing maximum overall bulk. Am I correct that this spread would be bulkiest, or would the former one (or a different spread altogether) be better for this Venusaur? Thanks in advance for your help.

According to this http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/completed-venusaur.3490580/ Since most threats are physical now he should be relaxed nature 252 hp 252 def and 4 spa or if you want to be more offensive relaxed nature 252 hp 4 def 252 spa. As a general rule you should strive to make a pokemon either specially bulky or physically bulky not both.

Is Shell Bell available in 6th gen? Also, can the shell bell be used to heal recoil damage?
Shell bell is terrible because leftovers on average heals more. Also I'm assuming you're talking about talonflame (can't think of any other good pokemon with a recoil move) which should either have a sky plate/sharp beak (same effect) or be banded

Normally I would, but I'll mainly be using this Venusaur in 3 vs. 3 battles and the Battle Maison, so I'm striving for mixed defensive capabilities. I should have mentioned that in my original post, though.

Did the "Hidden Power" calculations change?
No, they remain the same as previous generations. There is no HP Fairy, so there was no need for them to change. The only difference is that power is no longer a part of the calculation. For example, an IV combination that yielded HP Ice 57 in a previous generation now yields the exact same Hidden Power as an IV combination that yielded HP Ice 70. They are both now HP Ice 60.

Yes, I'm aware leftovers being better and those items for Talonflame. I just wanted to know if it heals after recoil damage.

You guys seem to be missing the "No XY Questions" part of the title. If you want help with XY, use the thread in the XY subforum.

Hey I've had a problem with the GTS. There was this guy asking for a Mamoswine for a 5iv Charmander. I caught a Piloswine in Friend Safari, evolved it, and went back on the GTS. When I tried to trade, it said 'This Pokemon cannot be traded'. Can anyone explain this?

Most likely explanation is that someone else on the GTS nabbed it before you did, unfortunately.

Hello!
Anyone can tell me which pokemon can be seen but cannot be caught? I have all 596 that can be caught and 609 seen, but 4 pokemon more can be seen and I dont know which of them. (I have seen all of the cafes according to serebii list)
Thank yoU!

I know, but Serebii put a list with the pokemon that can be seen in all the cafes and I have seen all of them. So there must be others that can be seen in another place but cannot be caught.

I've seen these that cannot be caught:

Persian, Weezing, Porygon, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Milotic, Cherrim, Bunneary, Glameow, Whimsicott, Cofagrigus, Jellicent, Elektrik, Elgyem and Bouffalant

There is one missing, can you tell me who?

No, when that happens it says 'the pokemon has already been traded- I get that message a lot. Iwas only commenting on it because it would not let me do the trade- it said my pokemon could not be traded.

Did you ever apply the XY patch found in the e-shop? It fixed a lot of issues with the GTS.
