A mild Smogon sociopolitical experiment (ignore the op do the compass instead)

According to the quiz, which typology group best suits you?

Agree with most points except 5. Drone strikes, invasion of privacy, shutting down medical marijuana clinics, etc are all things Obama has no issue passing.

From my understand to end the first two of those programs would require repealing legislation or blocking extensions, the only way Obama can really impact that process would be with the veto, I'll agree he signed to keep them going, but the FISA extension passed in 2012 with a veto proof majority and the PATRIOT act extension in 2011 (?) passed with very close to the same.

The third is an issue I think Obama has avoided for political reasons as much as anything else; and it won't change for a while.

Well if you're not conservative then what are you? A commie? Move to China. A fascist? Build a time machine. Apolitical? What you doing here?

that's such a typical fucking american thing to say. "lol if ur not a lib or a con u must be commie xDD". must we always qualify our political beliefs with blanket terms, however inadequate? is it necessarily bad to be a socialist/communist or anything that doesn't uphold the american political system?

mccarthyist bastard. some "liberal" you are..

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic...

what about adding a category for those that have no idea what those group names mean , i am sure that it will get the vast majority of votes

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in guerrilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

Because they would totally send the american army to Britain to search for and eliminate someone who annoyed you with a comment.

I remember taking this quiz in class and I was a post-modern. I do find it weird how many liberals there are compared to conservatives on this site though, I thought it would be more of a mix up. Maybe outside of the United States things tend to be more democratic (rather than republican) since there are some non-americans on this site? There are a lot of people that are Solid Liberals, which I find very interesting.

Compared to the rest of the world, the United States is absurdly rightist.

Minarchist who has a difficult time trying to reconcile his principles with the origination of property rights i.e. I can empathise with the Marxist idea of "property is theft"; what legitimises somebody's original claim to an asset (that is not the product of their labour)? Finders keepers? Colonialism and conquest? Beyond that, I am totally comfortable with property rights.

The conclusion I have come to is that this site is very liberal. I came to this conclusion mostly from my thread. I think it might just be the type of person that would get into the competitive comunity I guess.

Solid liberal. I don't like to get too involved with politics, but I do care a lot about social issues. I don't really have a solid stance on economic issues.

- "Very liberal on social issues" - This is probably defined as your views on gay marriage, immigration, abortion, drugs etc. I lean 'liberal' on these issues: I don't think it is the responsibility of the government to say who or what can get married (in fact I don't believe in government sanctioned marriage at all). I don't think the government should decide who or what can get an abortion. etc.
- "More conservative on race policies" - I don't think the government should be making policies such as affirmative action, etc...

I don't think humans can effectively organize at USA scales, and still remain 'democratic'. There are too many different interests at play. It paralyses us. Much easier to organize and enact change at smaller scales: see states adopting gay marriage and marijuana policies...
