Thanks man. Sounds pretty low regardless, I was hoping for a clean OHKO. :\
Sadly not gonna happen. HP is only 60 BP, Gastrodon's Special Attack isn't that high.

For what it's worth, though, it's virtually impossible to actually OHKO Rotom-W with HP Grass. With no special defense investment Max SpA Deoxys-A still barely manages a slight OHKO chance.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Deoxys-A Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-W: 260-308 (85.5 - 101.3%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

I want a good move set for my Morning Sun Solrock and Moonlight Lunatone. I need recommended natures, moves, E.V.s and held items.

I would like Solrock to have access to Flamethrower and Lunatone to have access to Ice Beam. Suggestions and opinions are welcomed.

Thanks!
Bump.

Of the two I'd go with U-Turn. On whether U-Turn is preferable to anything else for that slot, I withhold judgment.

I always forget about the negative priority. The main reason I use U-Turn is to escape any bad matchups, and I couldn't really afford to take the hit while I roar, so it makes sense to stick with U-Turn. Thanks!

Do trapping moves continue to take effect after their user switches out? I ask about Infestation specifically, but I imagine Mean Look and all the rest behave the same way.

No. Trapping effects can't be passed, even with Baton Pass, either by the trapper or the trap-ee. Trapping effects also won't block U-Turn, Baton Pass, or Volt Switch or keep someone in if they're hit with a Roar or other phazing move.

Witch poke should I switch for garchomp, tyranatar(spDef/Hp), forretress(spiker), aggron(Def/Atk), talonflame(Atk/spe), hydreigon(spAtk/spe), ditto(Hp/spe)(ability:imposter)

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question, but... how well does Malamar fare? I did not see any topics in Overused, and I would like to use it on my team.

There is a Malamar topic in OU discussion here.

Overall, Malamar is a gimmicky mon. Can be good, but requires too much support. Also being super slow isn't doing it much favors.

Does Crobat need to be a lead or can he function in other roles?
Crobat does not need to be a lead, he usually used as a lead because he is fast and has access to taunt and U-turn, which can either prevent hazards being layed or gain momentum by U-turn.

Crobat can do several things, stallbreak, hit hard with choice band and now can use defog. It is a very versatile mon.

For more on Crobat this topic will be helpful: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/crobat.3491242/

(Have I been blackballed here or something? No one has answered my question yet and this has happened in the past.)

I have two question:
1) Do they change the chance for being frozen solid for ice beam (10%) or is it just my bad luck that I keep getting FS?
2) I need details on a move from Greninja call Mat Block. I know it is priority 0, protect all your pokemon from damage but not from status. I guess it is also like protect that I will often fail if used on succession? I also heard that it is like fake out that it can only be used once in the beginning of turn of a pokemon

Ice Beam is still 10%, so bad luck.

Mat Block is exactly what you described. It's a protection move that works on your entire team, but isn't priority (so it only protects against pokemon slower than Greninja). It also works only on the first turn (like Fake Out) and doesn't block status.

Didn't get an answer from my previous question:
Looking for a Dragon as part of a sun team, and due to using Y-zard as my sun setter I'm dead set on using one that's not weak to stealth rock, hence taking Dnite out of the picture. The logical conclusion is to use Garchomp, but I've thought of an alternative: Choice scarf Flygon.

Sure, flygon is inferior in pretty much every way, but I was wondering if it's access to U-turn might just make it worth the power difference. Since my team is focused on being hyper offensive in the sun, momentum is important, hence I want to use a Voltturn core. I have Specs Heliolisk as a volt switch user, so I was thinking that Flygon is the way to go.

What do you guys think? Is it better to use Flygon over Garchomp in this case?
So I decide to reword the question. What is a good voltturn partner for Solar Power Heliolisk in a hyper offensive sun team? Currently I'm going with Flygon since he seems to function well enough in the sun and has pretty decent speed, but I understand that the opportunity cost is power from moves, which I'm not sure if it's worth losing. Anyone?

The thing that makes this question hard to answer is the fact that we don't know your team, so we don't know what holes you need to patch up, what your team is weak against etc. I would just post your complete team in the RMT forums and ask them to rate it, as it will probably be more effective than posting it here. They will critique it and suggest better partners than we could.

So I just ask a litttle about vgc but it seems player need to the tournament location to participate. Unfortunately that will not be possible so I am wondering if there is any competition that player can join through the net?

I see and understand, thank you very much. I will take it to the RMT forums in that case.

Pretty sure nobody's replying because nobody uses solrock or lunatone

these might help you, you can also try the pages for past gens

Question: For a berry mutation to occur, both berries must be in the same growth stage, right?

I'd still like an answer since Smogon has the best sets.

These sets don't include Morning Sun or Moonlight.

You're asking for something that, frankly, doesn't exist, friend. Neither one is really tough enough to make a recovery move worthwhile, even down in the bowels of NU, and while Lunatone's Special Attack is at least somewhat serviceable, Solrock's base Special Attack is only five higher than Raticate's.

You could run with, like, Adamant Solrock and Modest Lunatone, with heavy HP and Attack or Special Attack investment, but they're still just not very good. Maybe for 5th gen PU or something they'd be serviceable, but anything above that will be full of enemies that outspeed and can cream them both with neutral hits.

Sorry.
