Suggestions

I don't know if this has already been suggested, as I didn't really want to read through 47 pages just to see, but I'd like a box system, similar to PO's. I'd like to beable to create a mon with EVs, item, nick, moveset, etc. and be able to put it away in the box for use on another team. I know that I could store it in a text file, but boxes would be more convenient, accessible, and fun.

While a decent idea, sets can easily be pulled up from the teambuilder at any time, and you could always just make the pokemon with the set and save it on its own in the teambuilder, as this would perform the same function as saving it in a box would.

This has been suggested, we will hopefully be making /data pokemon come up with the powers of weight related moves when used on that pokemon!

I found a bug in showdown. Lucarionite seems to do nothing to speed. An example: my jolly (252 Spe) lucario (MEGA) must have 355 in Speed. However in my last game, i was outspeed by a jolly (252 i thing) life orb terrakion (max 346 in speed). Is this normal?

1. Not a suggestion.
2. Mega Evolution does not affect turn order, so if Luke mega'd that turn, he would get outsped.

Were you outsped on the turn you mega evolved? The speed won't change until the turn after you mega evolve.

Ok, thanks. I learned something. (= It was in the same turn i mega evolved. Lucario megaevolved and was outspeed.
Thanks again.

ah good, I learned this the hard way as well with my mega gengar a while back! Next time post in the bug reports thread for something like this.

Not sure where to put this suggestion, but this seems like the best place - On PS!, when I reload the page, it closes out all my battles except for one. This is really annoying because I often have to refresh the page because my internet dc's whenever I get a phone call. Is there any way to implement that all battles stay open when refreshing/reloading the page?

e: I'm using Google Chrome - could it just be a browser problem?
e2: maybe this should be in SQSA , sorry

could try only playing one battle at a time? otherwise idk how to help here :/
Yea I prefer to play one battle at a time, but when my internet is lagging I usually start two out of boredom from waiting on moves. thanks though :)

Not sure if this has been said but i moticed that in pokemon x and y, most people play the rules where your pokemon are level 50. Shouldnt pokemon showdown be at level 50 too?

Pokemon are set to level 50 for certain in game formats, and the formats using this have their level limit capped to 50 on Showdown too. Smogon formats do not exercise this rule and allow pokemon to be above level 50.

But shouldnt smogon copy the in game rules as much as possible? I mean they use team preview. Unless the level doesnt change anything, it just seems to make more sense.

Smogon have their own tiers and their own rules. For Nintendo events you would use item clause, but Smogon doesn't use that. Smogon doesn't replicate in game clauses and rules totally. Smogon doesn't have to copy them as much as possible as they make the rules in this case, not Nintendo. You can still play some Nintendo formats on PS that use these rules.

Do the games show the shinyness of a Pokemon in Team Preview? It can be very crucial information regarding Event mons. Example: Red Genesect. It is impossible to get a Red Genesect outside of that one event with a Hasty nature and the 3 event moves and it is impossible to get a Purple Genesect with the 3 event moves. This is invaluable information when scanning your opponent's team during Team Preview. I suppose a way to prevent this would be to ignore the shiny value when displaying a player's team during Team Preview.

Some Pokemon, like Vivillon and Fufroru (probably spelled this wrong), have alternate styles/color schemes not implemented on Pokemon Showdown!, and I'm not talking about shinies. I think that these should, at some point, be implemented, just for the sake of completion. I understand this is not very high priority, but it's be nice to have this option.

Examples:
- East and West Shellos
- East and West Gastrodon
- Vivillon's patterns
- Fufroru's trims
- Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter Deerling
- Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter Sawsbuck
- Unown's formes (lol for all the times unown is used)

Thank you for your time.
