Ooh this is fun. So labels/backgrounds are obviously personal preference, but I have found that organizing around the battle box as an "anchor" is very helpful, because then it takes as few moves left or right as possible to get to what you need. Essentially, the box grows in 2 "wings" out from the battle box in either direction, with the things you need to access the most (trade stock and battle-ready pokemon) closest to the center. The layout is graphically outlined in the google doc here.

Anyone have a Dragonair Safari I could grind for a while? I'd like to get that Multiscale ability. My Safari is a Fairy type with Snubble, Jigglypuff, and Floette, if you're interested. =)
 
I've a question about an egg's shiny value (no, this isn't related to insta-check).
Does the shiny value change each time I take the same egg from the breeder?
I know the IV's, nature, and ability are already set.
I guess my main question is, if I save before picking up the egg, then pick up the egg to try to hatch it over and over, will I one day get a shiny?

Maybe, but it would be faster t hatch 5 eggs almost at the same time though

No, the eggs value stays the same as soon as it's generated by the day-care man I believe. Only when you reject the first egg and obtain the ones afterwards are they different.

Yeah, I've been lurking there but the one person who added me lied about their Safari and really had fairies. Ditto is so in demand that the topics fill up quickly and because of Reddit's stupid limitations on posts I've always had to wait too long and miss the boat every time. Was hoping a kind Smogon user would help me out.

I'm sorry to hear that. Ditto Safari took me a bit as well (though I collected all Safari's within the first month of the game being released) that and Eevee Safari were near impossible. There is a list here maybe this will help? ._.

Well I guess its not the most efficient way, but its easier to have the IV's, ability, and nature set then just roll for the shininess
 
Unless you're running a rain-based team, I assume Liquid Ooze would be the best ability for Tentacool, right? Rain Dish would be too situational and I can't see much use in Clear Body (other than blocking eventual drops from moves like Shadow Ball or Energy Ball). The possibility of giving Amoongus and Mega Venusaur something tough to swallow seems a bit more appealing to me. Or am I missing something?

Yeah it seems that the problem is I got the game so late, but someone just added me! They went offline though so I don't when I can get the Ditto.
