BellyJet Azumarill isn't all it's cracked up to be. You HAVE to rely on Aqua Jet for Pokemon that are faster than you (which is most of the metagame), unless you run speed in which case your bulk is severely compromised, you still get outprioritized by shit like Talonflame, and there's a shitton of Pokemon that can take a +6 Aqua Jet and proceed to OHKO you because base 50 Speed is laughable.

I didn't say it was good, but it's an example of something that's possible with the changes to breeding.

One word for BDJet Azumarill: Toxicroak.

- Dry Skin
- Poison Jab coming from Base 106 Attack
- Base 85 Speed

apparently bisharp is in ou.. how do you think this will change the metagame?

Edit: tl;dr, A lot have people have commented on this.

Defog users can rest easy, Latias may be more prominent, Colbalion won't be used anymore, Chesnaught might see a slight drop in usage, and people can use chansey without fear of a free bisharp switch in. Those are my predictions.

EDIT: And my new favorite UU pokemon, Diggersby, can sweep more easily without worrying about Sucker Punch mind games.

LOL LANDORUS.

Terrakion should be fine in the tier tbh. It's definitely going to be a huge threat in UU, but I don't see it being so insanely broken yet. It has been UU on PO since their tier was created, and I've played a good amount of UU there. We have a lot of the same checks they did, including Hippowdon, Doublade, Slowbro, Claydol and Golurk I guess. We've also got solid offensive checks such as Mega Medicham (resists its dual STAB), Keldeo, Scarf Jirachi (jesus lord I am so happy it dropped), Latias, etc. It remains to be seen of course what kind of effects it will have on the metagame. One thing is for sure: all of the people relying on the Florges/Mega Aggron to back up their team defensively will want to either add in another Pokemon or make sure their offensive core can handle it.

Like I said, I'm really happy Jirachi dropped. I've been wanting to try out Iron Head Jirachi with Toxic Spikes lately, which sounds super duper fun. It drops the extra chance of the opponent not moving from paralysis in favor of getting a lot of chip damage off with Iron Head and allowing Toxic to kill the opponent. Definitely going to be tons of fun to use.

Also both happy and sad that Bisharp left UU. On one hand, we've lost our best answer to Defog and half my teams are now illegal, but on the other hand, I can drop fucking Cobalion from a lot of my teams as well. God, that thing was so trash outside of handling Bisharp. Latias also just got a lot more viable, and those people running HP Fighting Latias in order to lure in Bisharp can use that move slot for something more viable, so that's cool.

This tier change is going to make UU so much more fun omg.
(I like how you diss cobalion but come to the assumption that claydol and golurk actually have worth, when it's truly vice versa)
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon: 187-222 (44.5 - 52.8%) -- 25% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 165-195 (41.8 - 49.4%) -- 24.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 220 HP / 0 Def Celebi: 244-288 (61.6 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Celebi: 177-208 (43.8 - 51.4%) -- 64.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion X-Scissor vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Claydol: 250-296 (77.1 - 91.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Golurk: 196-231 (51.3 - 60.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
and a simple switch from jolly to adamant can turn those from chances to guarantees

Not only that but we have it's SD rock gem set from last gen, however since rock gem is illegal in XY, stone plate is the next best bet:
+2 252 Atk Stone Plate Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Golurk: 234-276 (61.2 - 72.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Stone Plate Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 262-310 (66.4 - 78.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Terrakion Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon: 250-295 (59.5 - 70.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Stone Plate Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 220 HP / 0 Def Celebi: 390-459 (98.4 - 115.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Terrakion X-Scissor vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Claydol: 334-394 (103 - 121.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
etc

Not saying you're other stuff or even your tidbit on terrak is 100% wrong, but just correcting you a bit

Im not sure how i feel about terrakion and landorus in uu. Compared to the megas in uu, terrakion seems to fit nicely imo. You have cobalion with steel typing that can easiky setup on bisharp but terrakion haz to watch out for iron bead.

Landorus is still a beast lol

Bisharp is in OU now, so no need to worry about it anymore

Yeah, Latias got a lot better. She lost her biggest check, and the tier gained two threats that she can check fairly well in Terrakion and Landorus. As for Terrakion, this is a set that I like the looks of:

Terrakion @ Life Orb / Choice Band
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef/ 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake

Full coverage Terrakion with the ability to change moves. Although Terrakion is a solid revenge killer, I think that job is better left to its cousin, Keldeo, considering Terrakion fares quite well against most walls in the tier. Close Combat and Stone Edge are your obligatory STABs. X-Scissor kills Celebi and does a serious number on other Psychics such as Latias, Slowbro, and Deoxys-D. EQ rounds out the coverage by hitting Nidoqueen (and King for that matter) and Golurk for solid damage. Life Orb gives Terrak enough power on most occasions and the ability to switch moves is amazing. In fact, this can be a really good wallbreaker for something like Scarf Keldeo or Scarf Staraptor as Terrak can beat or weaken many of their checks and counters (Keldeo especially) You can use Choice Band for a higher power boost, but Terrakion has deceptively good coverage in UU despite its very limited movepool. Poison Jab can be used over either coverage move to stick it to Fairy-types, but Stone Edge is hitting the common ones (Florges and Gardevoir) hard enough anyway.

I'm wondering right now how my favorite physical tank/BAMF Reuniclus is doing in UU, especially now that Bisharp has moved on to bigger and better things. Is his sweeping potential still good, and, perhaps more importantly, can he still count on his bulk?

yes jirachi is very good in UU. it seems like a bunch of pokemon gained recognition and a bunch of good ones dropped

I'm legitimately surprised that any singular person fathomed the introduction of Landorus-I into uu as a good idea in the first place.

Damn, seriously? I was at work, didn't even have time to put him in my team. I mean, I knew he wasn't staying, but it would have been nice to see how he worked.
