So how long before this becomes a recognized religion?
That's what the Keeper and our Lord are for.Agatha of the Elite 4 says Hi.
^Didn't look much like that. The anarchists kept pressing the bar away from the democracy treshold, but was eventually overcome. Then they resorted to spamming "Start9", a command I'm frankly surprised hasn't been banned yet. There is NO reason to ever press start more than once other than trolling. That being said, all Start[odd number] commands have the exact same effect in the end, as the menu remains open once the command is executed.
I also think they will let the step limit remain in place for a few more tries, or at least until they are running low on money. I guess it's also possible that the price will be reduced to zero if they end up not affording entry.
Wasn't there something about the price to enter being reduced if you don't have enough money? You just get a proportionally smaller number of balls. It's supposed to be a game mechanic, but who honestly ever doesn't have enough money to get into the Safari Zone... >.>
We've actually been making decent progress recently. We've just beaten Koga and caught a bunch of Pokemon. Not to mention that Pidgeot is way overleveled. But that Safari zone looks like it's going to be a struggle. I think we can all agree that, as long as the counter is still active, we absolutely need democracy just this once.So apparently the step counter is still kept as is and a huge democracy/anarchy war is brewing right now after we somehow dug out back to the pokemon center again...
they do it because it's a way of protesting "democracy is a shit system and here's why"
I'm very concerned about Digrat and BirdJesus's safety.I swear half of my alerts are:
"SergantGold replied to the thread Twitch plays pokemon. There may be more posts after this."
That would require resetting, which is impossible since Select has been disabled due to an earlier reset.I wonder if they can somehow make this happen lol xd
If anyone cared about your post count I would be an admin by now...I'm very concerned about Digrat and BirdJesus's safety.
I'm also trying to post count grind
and we are closing in on THE ZONE
The image that comes to mind is not one of people collectively stating that the system is bad, it's one of a little child throwing a tantrum when he doesn't get it the way he wants. "Democracy doesn't work because when it is in effect, we will make sure to break it" isn't a message convincing me to root for anarchy. It is akin to a kid not wanting to visit the library with his class, but when they vote to go there anyway, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs as soon as they enter to get the class thrown out. And then, when they vote over where to go for the next class trip, he uses them being thrown out as an argument against going to the library again. It's quite douchy behaviour, if I must say so myself.
The "start9" command only serves to tell that "I rather want to ruin the fun for everybody than letting the majority decide on what to do next". People voting for it signal that they shouldn't really be allowed to vote at all. Anarchy is fun and all that, but it has its clear and obvious limitations, and there are situations when coordination is absolutely required to progress.
And if they really are so opposed to Democracy, why don't they just vote for Anarchy instead of Start9? I mean, they have the options to either change the system back to the way they prefer, or keeping the system they don't like but also ruin it for everybody. Why the heck do sane people vote for the latter? There aren't enough trolls to consistently swing the votes in favour of Start9. It's a deliberate effort by otherwise decent anarchists to undermine Democracy whenever it is set in play. Either way, since Democracy is so pressed on time, if everybody who vote "Start9" instead had voted for Anarchy, the Democrats wouldn't be able to execute more than a handful of button presses before Anarchy was back on. That's how voting works, you know. Don't like the system? Vote to change it, you have the option and power to do so, instead of sticking with it solely to commit abuse.
When it comes to lag, it's still better than anarchy...Tbh, democracy isn't as effective as you would think it is. I mean, if you look at the stream now, you can see how hard it is just to get down a few steps. The steps are exactly to the right, so everyone votes right, Red moves right. But after moving right, the votes for 'right' continue to pile up, and he moves right again -_-
