Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

110 more eggs and I got my second shiny flabébé today. I have such a luck to get 0 random stats... It's 31.31.0.31.31.31 T_T
I didn't give up yet.

After I finish Bulbasaur I'll be lost, that's why I said that I might go for another Charmander or possibly either Bagon or Breloom. I have plenty of time to decide, school has kept me busy and I have only been able to hatch about 4 eggs. I like to train my shinies 2 or more at a time, so my shiny Totodile might be waiting a while

just made the chart disappear
just right after i changed my egg count

So the spreadsheet has gone to hell... I agree that someone should post a read-only Google doc that only a handful of trustworthy individuals can edit. That also has the added benefit of prevent anonymous people from adding questionable data.

In other news, I hatched a shiny Zorua yesterday! I was sick in bed, and when I saw the little tuft of blue, pixelated fur, I flipped out and sent a picture to my friend. He's been wanting one, and this project was for him. He was very excited. It's got a timid nature and an IV spread of 31/31/31/28/31/31. I'm pleased.

Now I'm starting on Eevee. If I can get a shiny one, I can clone it a bunch of times to get all the shiny eevee-lutions :)!
 
Sorry, I've been away for a few days doing homework and playing Minecraft/trying to relax (Lots of homework and deadlines in college). I thought I would check in on the spreadsheet and see if any dumb fucks decided to ruin it, and boy they did. It was disgusting to be honest. Wish I would have caught it sooner, but better late than never. I rolled the spreadsheet back to February 24th at 7:49 AM PST. That was right before the dick came on and ruined it.

I wish they allowed you to ip ban anonymous users on Google Drive, because believe me there would be bans...

Edit: You guys can update your eggs on the sheet now :D

Can you publish the spreadsheet so that people can only view the spreadsheet? Then make editing private so that people need to apply for permission.

This would greatly deter trolls since you can remove them from the allowed list easily?

Ok so I contributed 810 to the other thread, but I finally unlocked shiny charm so Im going to start pledging eggs here. My intitial goal will be 3000 eggs, bred in batches of 300 eggs then hatched. I will use Kalos parents ONLY (pentagon). I usually hatch my eggs in random order, so I will state the box they are from but not the exact egg number. I will update shinies as they hatch here, and then enter my results in the doc once each batch is completed.

Update to post 719, will update spreadsheet. I seem to be consistently getting shinies when I collect a full 10 boxes of eggs and hatch them, although my last batch with Kanga was a close call. I cant be certain, but I think I might have to attribute it to skipping over so many egg frames since the parents are different species and only "get along" unlike my past 3 batches that "get along very well".

EDIT: Nevermind, someone wrecked the sheet AGAIN. Wow, how frustrating.
 
Wow that's frustrating. Well I saved the page this morning onto my phone when it was all fixed and taken back to the 24th but I'm not sure how to fix what's there with it or how to get it locked :/

Edit: I cleared up all the extra sheets. Wish I could figure out how to back it up like birdonwheels5 did :/

If you go to file -> see revision history you can restore everything before all the trolling happened. I just restored it to february 25th, 11pm. Someone was altering everything again.
 
I suggest someone get a copy of the most recent egg/shiny counts aka copy the list (I tried but Excel seems to f*** it up on my end) And we make a back up that someone updates once a week or so... I don't know the formulas But I might be willing if someone taught me them and stuff.

Ya. I've been trying to make a copy with my phone but it won't let me edit after its copied. So I think I'll create a new one and copy and paste the formulas. Either that or get a hold of birdonwheels5 and tell him to seriously lock it. He is the owner of the current 1 so only he can
 
Since I can't update the spreadsheet yet, I'll post here. I traded one of the parents for a 6 IV Spanish Ditto (non-Kalos Born) in the middle of my previous "streak", but I don't think it will ruin the results.

As for what's important, another batch without a shiny in sight, which leaves me at 750 eggs hatched, and no shiny Charmander yet =/
