Random Shit volume 52: Weatherman frisked Winter and found its Icy Rock! Edition
-Dynamicpunch Y-zard.
-That's not how you FEAR Magnemite: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-97744442
-Espeon without Magic Bounce.
-Psyshock Metagross. On Skarmory, no less.
-Milotic attempting to Toxic an Excadrill.
-Offensive Latias. Why not Latios?
-Switching Shedinja in on an obvious Fire Blast. He was lucky it missed.
-First, the five-mon team. Then, the actual battle: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-97743117
-Thunder Wave+Gyro Ball Ferrothorn. Please stop that.
-So this happened: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-97743604
-I never have figured out why people use Dragon Claw on Aggron, mega or otherwise.
-Landorus-T using Earthquake on Rotom-W.
-Spinda.
-Unfeazant.
-Diglett. Using Earth Power. On Rotom-W. And no sash.
-Close Combat Keldeo.
-Dedenne.
-Bright Powder on, of all things, Krookodile.
-Cross Poison Gliscor, which activated Clefable's Cute Charm.
-Whiscash (yes, another one).
-Trick Room Espeon.
-Weakness Policy... Golem? At least it gets Sucker Punch, so it's not completely unviable.
Golem gets Sturdy and Rock Polish. That's something interesting. Still, using Golem seems weird. And offensive Latias is not THAT bad. Actually, Latias has Assault Vest and 110 Speed makes her somewhat better AV user than Goodra

Physical Greninja isn't silly. Torrent Greninja, however, is.

I have a very good reason to not believe you. Namely, Charizard doesn't learn Surf.
Lol,missremember. (?)
Probably that was Fly or Strength.I'll go and check (my opponent was a member of a forum I know,so I'll ask him lel.)

Another gimmick thing I've seen is Sap Sipper Azumarill. I sent out Breelom and tried to Spore it...
That was unexpected but unuseful.
(Still better than Thick Fat lels)

I didn't catch a replay of this magnificent battle, but what I can say is that the opponent forfeited on the first turn after my Excadrill OHKO'd his Rotom-W when its Will-O-Wisp missed.

I sincerely apologize for bringing up this guy who Delibird Is Amazing introduced some time ago (and then Molk popularized). I've honestly reached out to him via YouTube PM to get some help with the game. From the looks of things, it doesn't look like he's gonna listen. Alex, please take our advice and get some tutoring or something.

Gems include:
Belue Berry Flamethrower Kangaskhan
Aerial Ace + Thunderpunch MegaZard X
Earth Power + Earthquake + Blizzard + Outrage Tyranitar
Surf + Body Slam Azumarill...with Thick Fat

So I made a noob alt, pichu9001, to test my new OU team with. And the following things happened:

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou-97842179 — Flash Fire, people. And Heatran causes a ragequit. Also, I sorta forgot about CC. (My other team has a whole bunch of Bug, Poison, Fairy, and Psychic mons on it, so Fighting isn't normally an issue.)

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou-97843121 — Again, Flash Fire. Also a Mew with Earthquake (is that normal?), and a Flame Body Talonflame that got the burn on Chansey after the first Seismic Toss. (And me making a stupid play and switching to Chansey to heal, instead of just using Roar.) And he says "bg" when he loses.

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou-97861239 — A completely ridiculous amount of hax that ends with me forfeiting to go eat dinner. Featuring critfreeze Ice Beam, two Serene Grace Fire Punch burns in a row, then they miss Draco Meteor, letting them avoid the Sp. Atk drop (in other words, my opponent misses and it works out in their favour), and a double Psyshock crit takes out my Chansey. (And to add insult to injury, they're screaming expletives into the text chat as that double crit happens.) Then I miss Rock Blast vs. Heatran. Then I miss Draco Meteor vs. Heatran, and it turns out their Heatran has Dragon Pulse. (That's a 4-attacks Heatran by the way.)

Also my opponent tries to Toxic my Heatran on turn 2. And their Scolipede lacks Speed Boost, and is apparently a sweeper instead of a passer.

Edit: And if you're wondering why I tried to Rock Blast a Heatran, they switched into it from Scoli. As for Draco Meteor, I run a Support Latias and that's her only attacking move. I just wanted to break the Air Balloon so I could hit him with Celebi's or Heatran's Earth Power.

Speaking of that breaking ladder dude, he goes butthurt over people who call his teams sh*t. He posts shit like "FUCKING TURD" and " U BETTER SHUT THE HELL UP" (basically all caps profanity rage), like he's an internet tough guy. He also makes death threats. Wow.................

And here's a bit more recent video of his:

Has he improved? Unfortunately no................ The Machamp set was especially painful.

God, I hate people like that. I mean, it's one thing to just be clueless about the game, but when you're also really obnoxious and arrogant about it...

Like, I'd sympathize with him if he was some dumb newbie who genuinely wanted to learn, but as we've seen, that's not the case.

And wait a minute... did he just OHKO a Ferrothorn with Hammer Arm after his attack was lowered two stages?

There's NO way that could be right.

-2 252+ Atk Swampert Hammer Arm vs. 252 HP / 0+ Def Ferrothorn: 78-92 (22.1 - 26.1%) -- 5.7% chance to 4HKO

So on top of all of that, he's a goddamn cheater.

No, he's no cheater. The other person's pokemon were only level 50 rofl.

If they were 100... I don't think he would've fared as well.

Edit: Re-formatted my post ugh.

He's a little kid. This explains everything.

>Aguav Berry everything, even the things where their nature means they get confused by it.
>Physical non-Mega Charizard carrying Hidden Power for no reason.
>Hyper Voice Vaporeon.
>Fly Noctowl.
>I swear that's a non-Multiscale Dragonite.
>Correction: That's a non-Multiscale Mixnite with Blizzard and Dragon Rush.
>Arcanine with Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Body Slam, and Fire Spin.
>Correction the Second: That's a non-Multiscale Mixnite with Blizzard, Dragon Rush, and Aerial Ace.
>Arcanine Body Slam para everytime.
>Special Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon.
>Special-attacking Leafeon (60 base Sp. Atk is Awesome, yo! So much better than 110 base Attack.) with Solar Beam and Hidden Power Grass. (Why do noobs use STAB Hidden Power anyway? What makes them think this is a good idea?)
>Switching Leafeon into Special Feraligatr who is obviously insistent on spamming Blizzard. Did you not learn from the first time?
>Mega Kick/Mega Punch/Body Slam/Rock Tomb Mega Aggron. I guess a Mega mon needs Mega moves?
>Dark Pulse/Charge Beam/Hidden Power (Flying/Rock/Grass/Ice/Dragon/Steel/Bug/Psychic)/Energy Ball Mismagius. Because obviously STAB is overrated, am I right?
>Noctowl trying to Hypnosis Glaceon while its already asleep, on the basis of trying to hit it again as soon as it wakes up. Then, when Glaceon finally does wake up and miss Frost Breath for the second time (hax much?), Hypnosis misses. Also, Noctowl, how do you manage to underspeed Glaceon?
>Ice Fang Glaceon. (Because 60 base Attack is Awesome, yo!)
>And to cap it all off, a stirring speech from Captain Obvious himself.

I need to stop watching replays like this; I'm losing too many brain cells.

I wanted to make a team with Pokemon that weren't fully evolved. This was one of the battles.

There should be a contest for the shitiest team someone is able to use to defeat a team of 6 Pokemon with. If someone is able to win with a team of Unown / Farfetch'd / Delibird / Spinda / Sunkern / Magikarp please post the replay. I'm sure there is a truly special talent out there somewhere who is capable of losing to such a team.

Speaking of Unown, I think it needs Technician as an ability. Modest Specs STAB Technician Hidden Power seems highly amusing to me.

Completely relevant calcs:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Technician Unown Hidden Power Psychic vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Breloom: 494-584 (188.5 - 222.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Technician Unown Hidden Power Psychic vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Mewtwo X: 163-193 (46.1 - 54.6%) -- 59% chance to 2HKO
