Arsenal are legitimately fighting for 4th place.
They are playing City this weekend and Everton have a game in hand with 6 points separating them.
Everton and Arsenal are playing the week after and that could really decide where that trophy,,,errr Fourth place goes to.

Bayern winning the league says more about how good they are than the other way around.

Didn't get to watch the Roma match but was out of my seat when I saw the score change. The 3 teams going to the Cl next year seem to be lock. Roma, Juve and Napoli. Hopefully they perform at their level especially Roma and Juve.

On the City game. City are better and Moye's two signings were terrible. Silva reminds me of Iniesta and Modric in their ability to evade tackles and get into pockets of spaces. Moyes tried to crowd Silva out with Cleverly, Fellaini and Carrick but silva just evaded all of them and created problem after problem for united.

Please, I want to see that. By the way, are you talking about Rosell or Laporta? Because Gaspar doesn't count shit, he's just a butthurt (BAN ME PLEASE). Also, don't link any Marca/As/ thing, please.

I forgot saying vicepresident, but here it is:

That man was Barcelona's vicepresident during Laporta's presidency. The interview appeared on TV and judging the way he explains it he doesn't look like butthurt or anything. The weird thing about it is that the interview went unnoticed for the most part...

first one wasnt a penalty because it was outside of the box

the one for barca through neymar wasnt a penalty either because of a neymar offside

but if you think any of the called penalties were dives, then youre a moron rofl. those were clear penalties and yes, they might have "exaggerated" their falls but there was still significant contact to cause loss of balance. i can tell who in this thread doesnt play football by who says "yeah it was just a little grazing!!!" rofl get out of here, in 10 years of playing football ive been on the fouling and fouled side and i can tell you certainly that that kind of contact will always make you fall. if a player exaggerates thats another issue, but take for example Muller in an UCL match (idr vs who it was), he got clearly fouled in the box, obvious penalty. but instead of staying on the floor he instantly went back on his feet after falling and because of that they didnt call a penalty even though it was a blatant one. you cannot blame players for not standing up after they get clipped rofl.

"waa waa madrid and barca dive" dumass bpl fangirls. im sure its much better over there where suarez, hazard and sturridge are

It's much better where Hazard, Suarez & Sturridge are..

Lol, he's the worst person that you could have linked me. His words doesn't have any type of credibility.

Here's some of the things he had said over the years: F1 & Desgracia. As you can see, he's fucked up in the head, I can not take anything he had said serious anymore. It's kind of sad how ANYBODY could occupy the vice-presidents seat.

Probably that's why this went unnoticed for the most part. Only the "Ronceros" and "Siros" made a fuzz about it.

Anyway.. here is my TOTS so far:
Sczcezny - Coleman, Mertesacker, Terry, Azpilicueta - Silva; Yaya Toure, Gerrard, Hazard - Suarez and Sturridge.

Been kinda busy lately so didn't watch any of these exciting matches. For the Clasico 'dives' there's a difference of cultures is all it is. In foreign leagues especially S. America there's a cheeky winning mentality of trying to draw fouls and trying to cheat the referee in order to gain an advantage. In England it's about being a hard man and not being a wuss when someone flattens you. I'd say Neymar was being a spineless wuss in the eyes of the English and a deserved winner in the eyes of some others.

Most of the results were to my liking. Arsenal ruined my accumulator. That is all.

my team of the season:

--------------------------Marshall

---Coleman-------Mertesacker----Terry----Azpi

-------------------Toure----Fernandinho

-------Hazard------------------------------Lallana

--------------------Sturridge----Suarez

Player of the year should be either Toure or Suarez or hazard
My top three would be:

1)Suarez
2)Toure
3)Hazard

Bayern will eliminate the 3rd english "top" team in CL quarters, but np. City wins every home game in the Premier League and we raped them at Etihad, that shows how awful the premier league is.
You will now say, that City won the second leg, but we did not take them serious anymore after stomping them in their own stadium and scoring two goals in the first minutes of the match.

There is not a single english team, which is even close to our level, we beat 3 of your top teams (chelsea, arsenal and city) this season. And if you consider how much money the premier league has, it is really sad to see how bad they are. Just compare Paris to City, while City is just shit and getting their asses whipped by any proper team (see matches vs bayern/barca/dortmund/real), paris are a considerable threat and even had less time after they started investing.

And fyi comparing leagues is kinda retarded cos impossible

this is such an ignorant post. bayern didn't try against city in the second game?? are you fucking kidding me? if they gave up one more goal they would have finished second in their group, they had absolutely every reason to try. you beat chelsea with an absolute last second goal and then scraped by on penalties lol, in the super cup no less. let us not forget the last time those 2 teams played in an actual match that meant something. as for arsenal i wouldn't exactly call it domination. a questionable red card and ozil choking decided it, but admittedly bayern were far superior over the 2 legs.

anyway don't get me wrong, bayern are an excellent team, but the tone of your post with the whole "we rape the premier league ezpz" is a fucking farce. enjoy beating man utd by 5-10 though xD

liverpool sunderland HT update:

We're 1 up but I'm disappointed by the refereeing performance. Should have been a straight red for Vergini because Suarez was through on goal. What's worse is that he doesn't send him off with a second yellow after a terrible tackle on suarez again.

Linesman also wrongly flagged for offside when we were in a very good position to score.

Gus Poyet, I feel, got it right with three at the back as they are countering our diamond perfectly.

Brilliant goal from gerrard even though we haven't been playing well and the referee has been very kind to them.

Disappointed with Suarez's second half display today. He was integral to our win but his general selfish style of play could have cost us because we didn't get the third goal to put it beyond doubt. Also, his dive right after we went two nil up most definitely angered Kevin Friend who already had some sort of personal vendetta against us.

Coutinho and Sturridge were also selfish and it could have us points at the end. Hopefully, Rodgers has some stern words with them afterwards.

We played badly today and were lucky to come out winners.

The fact of the matter is that La Liga is the best league in the world.

On another note Leverkusen won a match :O!

Hope Sevilla win against Real Madrid!

Edit: Victor Valdes has played his last game for Barca. Such a shame that this legend career at the club he loves is over.

Errr to be honest those things are said by pretty much every 'relevant' catalonian politic on a daily basis, lol. Oh and by 'normal people' as well. Yes, Spain (and Catalonia in particular) is that sad. To me, those words are completely normal because I'm used to hearing that kind of bullshit, I doubt he's fucked up in the head, unless you consider that Catalonian nationalism (in general) means being fucked up. So yeah I don't know whether he's somebody you can trust or not, but I definitely don't think he's fucked up for making those declarations because they're (sadly) normal. By the way, are you spanish or something? Kinda surprised you know Roncero, lol

Whatever back on topic: Real Madrid lost to Sevilla. Wouldn't say Real Madrid played terribly, but they were pretty uneffective at attacking... Sometimes the team seems to lack ideas and when the opponent is as effective as Sevilla were today, this is what happens. Sevilla's been a really solid team for the last month and a half so I'm not that surprised with the result. When they played Barcelona some weeks ago they missed a lot of opportunities and lost a match they should've won but they didn't make the same mistake again.

I wonder if they'll manage to reach the 4th place, I guess the game on San Mames will decide it, especially considering Athletic still has to play Atletico and Barcelona...

Sevilla have now won 6 wins in a row and are going to push Bilbao for that 4th spot.

It seems that Ivan Rakitic is set on leaving this summer. Quality player.

Carlos Bacca has been the buy of the season. 19 goals for the 7 mil Sevilla has invested in him. Absolutely incredible.

DAY 28: Real Madrid 70, Atletico 67, Barcelona 66.
DAY 30: Atletico 73, Barcelona 72, Real Madrid 70.

Going to be a hell of a finish to this season!

Is that for sure? I read that his contract was going to be extended, even if there were rumours about a transfer too. Maybe if Sevilla manages to get a UCL spot Rakitic will stay another year, idk, I wouldn't like to see him leave though, he's probably been the best La Liga midfielder this season.

Read the post I quoted and then think about it again and you might realized why I chose this tone.

If superscizor tells me unreflected I bullshit, he gets unreflected bullshit back. Easy like that

Well he still hasn't signed that contract so it's still up in the air where he will be for next season. However what can't be questioned is that his stock has skyrocketed and with a good world cup it's going to take a lot to get him but there won't be a lack of teams vying for his signature.
