Personally, I don't think Zelda will be able to transform into Sheik as it is the TP version of Zelda...=< Unless Sheik is selectable apart from Zelda, I figure Sheik is gonna get nerfed...which is sad as she's my main. xO

I don't think some characters should be left out just because they are clones, they could just give them own moves like Ganondorf.

Some of these are cool characters like Falco imo.

From the looks of it, you build up power, and everyone goes fucking nuts, and then you unleash it at some point, destroying your enemy with the power of music?

Mario's Final Smash looks like the ONLY one without a clear disadvantage.

Link can miss while shooting the Triforce. (I assume)
Pikachu can fall off the stage if controlled poorly.
Samus changes into a weaker form of herself AND can possibly miss.
DK's has rediculously short range, from the look of things.

I'm not exactly sure what to make of DK's Final Smash. Is it suppose to damage, or is it suppose to power up DK? I know he's invulnerable to attacks, but there's not much mention of what it completely does.

See, thats what i'm not so sure about. Final Smashes are only obtainable through items, and if it grants him only invincibility, why not the Super Star item?

I think he does minimal damage, but more importantly, is like a stat-growth, in addition to invulnerability.

IMO it goes something like this:
1) DK pulls out bongos, music starts playing
2) You hit buttons (possibly A and B) to the beat of the music to power up the move
3) When the song ends, everyone on the screen gets hurt depending on how well you kept the rhythm.

Also that last statement suggests that spamming the buttons will make the music go fast, but the final attack less powerful.

Lol pitfalls. Those were so annoying whenever I walked into one on my AC:WW. They'll probably be just as annoying in SSBB.

Wasn't there an attack that had a similar effect in SSBM? I think DK's forward+A move or his forward smash put opponents in the ground like that. I think that one of Togepi's possible metronome effects was putting opponents stuck in the ground too.

I think the Pitfall will be used for instant kills. Throw it at an opponent on the floor, and if it hits them, they fall THROUGH the floor and die instantly.

Um, that's just silly. It only works on floor you can already hit down and fall through.

It was DK's Foward+B.

No, not really. Only floors you could fall through, of course, but what about places like Pit's breakable platforms? i'm sure there'll be KO uses, or else it doesn't seem AS useful.

Rumble Jungle will also be horrid with that. Damn fine delay tactic to wait and see if the screen causes a Self Destruct.

Edit: MulletMan is right. Unless you can specfically fall by going down on the general platform you're on (the lowest one), then you're not going to fall through. Good examples are DK Jungle 64, where you can mole from the bottom platform, yet not fall under if you attempt to go below it.

They could have used a more interesting fire emblem character. Any of the subhumans could easily have been used to replace the (possible) loss of the Zelda's <-> Sheik switch, as they can transform between human form and animal.
