Toxic on Both Gengar and Ferrothorn.
Plus, Random Protect thrown on Mega Ampharos.

Not so sure if that's common...
toxic ferrothorn seems pretty normal, but that defensive cloyster and non multiscale dragonite were true gems.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105440780
his dragonite was not happy

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105438943

special weavile
reflect type gengar
bulky tornadus T
ferrothorn with protect instead of gyro ball
"i think i wins it" the guy expertly jinxes himself. like the best example of jinx

Alright, so I was on Battle Spot having a few battles, when the following happened:
I lead with Mawile, they lead with Sylveon
First turn I Mega up, Sylveon used.... Skill Swap.
So now I had Pixilate and they had Huge Power, sounds bad right?
Lol nope.
Not only did Sylveon not have ANY Normal moves to take advantage of Pixilate (Or Physical moves to take advantage of Huge Power lol), it had Dazzling Gleam AND Moonblast. Didn't see the last move because I just got to +4 on Mawile before critting with Fire Fang and OHKOing Sylveon.
Then they send out Mewtwo, Mega Y to be precise, one shot with Sucker Punch.
Then Dragonite came out, KOs Mawile (WITH SURF XD) so I send out Genesect (Alls fair in Battle Spot)
So I use Iron Head so it doesn't activate the (Pontental) Weakness Policy.... Did over 2/3 thirds to his health (Did the calcs. INNER FOCUS DRAGONITE). So I decided "Eh big finish" Ice Beam, GG.
Sorry for the war story like thing, I would of simply posted a replay code IF I WOULD OF SAVED IT AND HAD SOME SPACE LEFT >_>
GG Self XD
Edit: Here are the calcs proving it was NOT a Multiscale Dnite (+1 because Download raised my Attack, and I was using a physical Genesect, sue me :P)
+1 252 Atk Genesect Iron Head vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Dragonite: 195-229 (60.1 - 70.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Not silly, but someone used Thunderbolt against me three times, on three different mons. Guess what happened those three times... then he got like 2 crits in a row, Dragon Tail missed twice consecutively, and made me flinch once with an Iron Head (after that 2 misses). Definitely not my day ._.

Random Shit volume 72: Swagger Vote Edition
-Sunny Day+Fire Blast+Flamethrower+Solarbeam M-Houndoom.
-Mightyena.
-Klefki using Thunder Wave on Gliscor.
-X-zard using EQ, and later Counter, on Rotom-W.
-M-Gardevoir apparently wasn't content after Focus Missing Heatran, so it used Hyper Voice. (That's a 4x resist, by the way.)
-All sorts of things wrong here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105459569
-Sucker Punch Umbreon. Okay then.
-Iron Defense+Psychic (against M-Gyarados) Gorebyss.
-Raikou using Psych Up.
-I can't say that I've ever seen a Quick Attack Electivire before today.
-Zapdos using HP Fire when it get Heat Wave.
-That is way too many Air Balloons: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pandora-ou-445994
-Using Thunder Wave on Rotom-W.
-Salamence using Double-Edge. At 1 HP.
-Focus Blast Excadrill.
-Dat Beedrill: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105459262
-Dragon Rush+Dual Chop+Dragon Pulse+Aqua Tail M-Garchomp. All against Ferrothorn.
-Anticipation Ferrothorn (it was a different one) with Explosion.
-Physical Latios with Shell Bell.
-M-Blastoise using Water Pulse on said Latios. Maybe it was fishing for confusion hax, but wouldn't Ice Beam or Dragon Pulse be better?
-Hippowdon with Bite and holding an Absorb Bulb. And it had Sand Force.
-Payback Gliscor.
-Flame Body Talonflame on the same team as the above two.
-"wat" indeed: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oususpecttest-105471337
-Not a single success with Endeavor: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105470037
-The cats won this one: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105469271
-Breloom using Sky Uppercut on Gourgeist.

I just saw this battle, which showcased some... interesting sets.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-105491346

If you don't want to watch, some of the silly things that I saw were:
1. Flamethrower Snorlax, which actually won the battle. (65 Sp. Atk is pretty bad, imo)
2. Phantom Force Trevenant (I've never seen anyone use it, so I may be wrong, but I don't think it sounds reasonable.)
3. Physical Non-Mega Houndoom with Flame Charge, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, and one other move that was not shown. (...Why?)
4. One of the Lanturns had a quick claw, used Scald on Kingdra, and stayed in on an Abomasnow for two turns before switching out.

Maybe not the silliest/stupidest, but it was not normal, to say the least.

This is the reason why I use Taunt on my Pokemon!!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-105564343

Normal Gem Arceus (I guess Silk Scarf wasn't viable)
Swords Dance Glsicor (That's okay.)
Cosmic Power+Double Team Deoxys-D...

The end were the dude becomes one of the most biggest asshole in Pokemon Competitve Battling, and frankley becomes the reason why the metagame has gone down the sh*tter.
Excuse my french.

Signal Beam Togekiss, Drain Punch Kangaskhan (on a Thundurus, granted I was at low health but still) and Breloom trying to Spore a paralyzed Lugia.

C&E in the tournaments room was my shit for like three weeks until I realized that I, a shitty competitive battler (barely cracked 1700 in OU), was winning nearly every tournament.

First of all, all you fuckers complaining about a lack of scripted tourneys need to sign up for a few C&Es. We need more people like fellow users and friends just a trick and murygordyH. It'd be so much more fun if I could just lose in the first round and watch my superiors the rest of the tournament, and not have to fill up my team storage with 4-man teams full of NFEs and things that make you throw up in your mouth and simultaneously shit small amounts of wimpy shit like a full-action double-ended dildo when you see them listed on the OU viability rankings. Or at least, it'd be better try to decide which of them are sweet enough to keep.

Wow, I swept that guy who had four Ground-Types with Breloom by clicking Bullet Seed four times. That's about the coolest thing that's happened to me on PS in like four days.

T_T

Second of all, you fuckers currently signing up for C&E tournaments need to erase the term C&E from your vocabulary. This is what my aging eyes have been subjected to during C&Es:

-Breloom used Energy Ball on my Sylveon. The kid had no physical attacks on his whole team (it was a semifinals round I believe) and his pokemon were Breloom, Weavile, and Chandelure
-Non-Mega Gardevoir with Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, and Hyper Voice
-Baby-Doll Eyes Eevee in Rd 1 too OP
-Poor bastard was given a Pineco and decides to use explosion turn 1 not even denting my Aron
-stealth rock drilbur in round 1
-Inner Focus Dragonite... His moveset: thunder wave, roost, protect, sub. Mhm.

My personal favorite was a special lure Medicham. Choice Specs Medicham really makes my stomach churn. It forced a switch before being unable to do anything. But, it turned out to be E-Belt, and so it was able to switch from psychic to focus blast on my escavalier before being OHKOed.

Oh, and for those of you who didn't know what I was talking about with my Breloom sweep, that guy completely overlooked the fact that all of his pokemon were ground-types. On a simple level, the way C&E works is that he was basically able to choose his team from a set of pokemon and he ultimately picked four physically-attacking ground types and still made it to the finals.

Moral of the story: if you like fun things better when they are more fun, come play C&E.

EDIT: Wow, guess the title says "OU ladder..." I knew I was gonna fuck up somehow. I was pretty satisfied with the actual post. Infract me plz

Technically UU, but includes such gems as...
  • Aguav Berry Pikachu
  • Aguav Berry Suicune
  • Aguav Berry everything
  • Said Pikachu only had Volt Tackle and Electroball
  • Said Suicune with amazing water/water/water/water coverage in Whirlpool, Bubble Beam, Hydropump, and Water Pulse
  • Uxie using Extrasensory, even with it learning Psychic, a generally superior option.
Sadly, I was not able to see the rest due to my Feraligatr getting a sweep, but I imagine his entire team has mono-stab coverage.

When I battle people that have those kinda movesets I wonder what they were thinking while making the team

"Aww man, I cant find the leftovers item I'll just use an enigma berry, same thing"

They were probably saying something like lets see I have two water moves on my suicune hmm... well I'm gonna need bubblebeam and definitely gonna need whirpool also, gotta get that consistant 2% damage.

That end was just you getting butthurt because you couldnt beat his stall, He was literally only responding because you were screaming at him. You started every conversation. Though I cant say I wouldn't do the same with that kind of stall.

but normal gem arceus is pretty silly, especially this gen where its only a 30% boost.
