This set is basically tailored perfectly for the meta at the moment. Being able to switch into Aegislash, Specs Keldeo lacking Icy Wind, Landorus, and most importantly Mega Charizard Y is great right now. Raiza's set is cool, but it's basically just a rehashed version of BW's Mixed set, so it's technically not anything new, so I'm a bit confused as to why so many people are voting for it. While there was a bulky Dragonite set last gen, CBB's set functions differently by acting more as a pivot that can switch into shit, and not just a parashuffler.

I'm not getting the hate on Hone Claw sets, if 3 Attacks + Roost, Rain Dance and Stall sets are fine then so should they, provided that the 3 other slots are actually used for something good. I'm also not gonna get dragged into the WW3 happening here (I rage harder than Masterclass if you can believe that, dem Arabs).
Michaeloche set seems great and can be a nice addition to any swift swim team, which are really underused atm and takes care of Dragonite's both forgotten STAB and his immense move pool while still being useful if he dies.

It's a good check but wall is a stretch since azumarill doesn't always avoid the 2HKO from EQ with SR down assuming you followed the spreads here

You can't blame us, this project showed potential to be fun, refreshing and different from the usual discussions and threads in here... so it kinda sucks to see it take the route of two "clans" trying to outvote each other.

Funny thing is, I actually helped promote the set that Raiza/Doughboy posted... last generation. I made a C&C topic about it that turned into a Dragonite rework that I never finished! :P But that being said, I can vouche for the set's effectiveness... last generation, before fairy types showed up. The problem with that set now is that every fairy type under the sun walls it, making it a poor wall-breaker in the current meta. Of course, EQ handles some of them alright, but then you have to drop ES or Super-Power and all and all it just isn't as good this generation. And that's a problem because I had to fight to get this set recognized LAST generation, where it was better.
CBB's set on the other hand seems much more tailored to the current metagame. A specially defensive pivot role fits Dragonite very well in this meta, especially since Dragonite is so customizable due to its wide move-pool. Hell, as soon as I saw it I immediately though what a good fit it'd be on one of my past teams that had difficulty switching into Aegislash's Shadow Ball. It just seems like a really good "glue" team member to help you handle stuff that the rest of your team has difficulty with.
As for the other sets, most of them seem pretty lackluster. Hone Claws, as explained, is a poor choice because Dragonite REALLY needs that speed boost for sweeping (80 base speed is really insufficient for sweeping in OU without boosts). Other sets I've seen just look REALLY gimmicky. The toxic stall sets are extremely vulnerable to status, making them really hard to pull off against competent opponents, for example. Others aren't big enough changes to really count as a new set. So really, it's not much of a competition from my point of view.

I dunno what this has got to do with italians or whatnot...i didnt vote coz of community bullshit; i voted because of the set's versatility and effectiveness.

No, it's not a popularity contest. Raiza made it one. How obvious is it that when a guy named hystoria makes an account posts ONCE with it on this thread to vote for Raiza and logs off 2 minutes later without a trace? If you notice all the people or most of them are Italians. Alexander. is italian and he confirmed it. So we just wanted to show Raiza if he wants to take this as a life or death situation like he did, we can also show that we can win this ''popularity contest'' with ease. People should just let the best set get voted on instead of sharing the link with others and asking them to vote.
My Conculsion: Every set on this thread sucks.
