Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

So, I'm fairly new to the metagame, so I see some pretty ridiculous stuff all the time. I mean, just look at these:

I swear, this guy had literally no EVs on anything he had. If he did, I couldn't tell. Plus, the CM BP to Pyroar was pretty silly, considering the fact that all the moves he seemed to have were physical.

This battle features my hazard lead Skarmory sweeping half of his team, what appears to be a mixed Garchomp with Draco Meteor and Dragon Rush, Non-Mega Zard, and a mixed Sylveon with Draining Kiss and Moonlight.

And finally, a guy that ragequits in the most ragequittiest way possible. For the first time, I felt I was doing awesome in battle. So it was silly and disappointing.

...Well...that's one way to have an Espeon live a Knock Off...

WiFi again: moody fake out/protect/spore/? Smeargle.

I guess that the fourth move is baton pass. I don't know because after fake out and protect, he then tried to spore my overcoated Mandibuzz whilst she taunted him.

So far, just a bit silly. But then he stayed in continuing to unsuccessfully fake out whilst Mandi foul played him to death.

OK, the Moody buffs carried on racking up, but that's the worst strategy ever.

-Ganlon Berry Swampert

-Keldeo using Stone Edge against Togekiss:

252+ Atk Keldeo Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Togekiss: 170-202 (45.4 - 54%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

RU is retarded but i still win with a fun team

when your haxmachine is crippled, what else than forfeit would you do?

a sharpedo at 1 health is sweeping your team. What do you send in ? Everything except your hail thing with priority :

so apparently, people don't know a ghost ice type gets ghost or ice moves...

Just saw a Calm Mind Slowbro in the late 1600s on the ladder. It was running Scald/Psyshock/Calm Mind/Slack Off with Lefties.

Actually...that's not the worst strategy ever. Leaving everything up to fate is not the best way to make a strategy but SwagPlay's been doing that until it was banned here. To be honest, what else would you use if you want them Moody Buffs?

Random Shit volume 87: What Kind of Word is "Maundy" Anyway? Edition
-Using Outrage when your opponent has fairies in reserve...
-Iron Head Magnezone.
-Beedrill. Using Endeavor. At full HP.
-Air Balloon+Heatproof (presumably) Bronzong. Because losing your fire weakness is worth giving up (permanent) full ground immunity.
-Noivern using Acrobatics, and later Wild Charge, against Steelix.
-Thunder Punch Gardevoir.
-Brick Break+Blizzard Blastoise.
-Brick Bream+Body Slam normal Charizard.
-Galvantula using Thunder on M-Venusaur. Did about 20%.
-Here's a funny ragequit: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110770674
-I don't know what's worse: all regional rodents, or winning with them: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110768509
-Thunderbolt+Thunder+Hyper Beam Electivire. And one use of Thunder? Against Porygon2 that had traced Motor Drive.
-STOP USING FREAKING DEDENNE, PEOPLE!
-Gliscor using Agility... under Trick Room. And passing those boosts to Jolteon.
-Getting swept by Scrafty is one thing (although Focus Miss was unfortunate). But look at its teammates: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110782165

Because I have a thing for playing devil's advocate, I'd like to point out that while the air balloon is derpy, heatproof Bronzong does better against a small handful of opponents. It fares better against Heatran and Mega Charizard X, at least; Zard can 1HKO Levitate Heatran but not Heatproof Heatran with an unboosted Flare Blitz.

The air balloon gives it away, though, so that's pretty dumb. At least without the balloon you can shrug off neutral Fire hits from people lower on the ladder who assume the Levitate.

There is literally nothing wrong with CM Slowbro, it's a beastly phys tank and CM makes it nigh unkillable.

EDIT: Heck it's the first set listed in its analyses.
Really? I've never seen it before; almost all the bros I see are Regenerator Assault Vest.
