Also, don't download that; it's a hack.
Modest Scizor? Seems legit... lol.
(Agonist double posted, brb dying)

Also, just wanted to get some last opinions on this Electabuzz I SR'd before I stop putting it everywhere.

Electabuzz (EVENT BUZZ)

Naive | SPRING 2014 | 04014 | Vital Spirit | Lv. 30
28/18/31/2/30/31 | Untouched | Male
Low Kick | Shock Wave | Light Screen | Thunderpunch

Should I have SR'd for better attack? These choices haunt me every day :c

I'm gonna assume if you're downloading public stuff from Pokécheck you're using it for personal reasons (as it's pretty cheap to offer for trades...), in which case is it a legal hack (to use in battles—not that I battle)?
I'm sticking with my policy of "only download stuff for egg moves" :).

That's really the only reason to download something, since they're useless for trading purposes, as anyone else can download the exact same thing.

Are there any viable defensive/rather defensive movesets for Garchomp? I'm looking to breed a whole bunch of unconventional things for my upcoming trade thread.

I have manectite, and I am looking for houndoomite if anyone is willing to trade the items over on fodder ?

PM me if you would like to trade,
Thanks.

I kinda want to see it now.

Alakazam @ Flame Orb (Magic Guard, obvs)
Timid, 4 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed

- Psychic
- Protect
- Encore
- Disable

Hard to explain, but as a lead it just dickbaggishly (yes I just pulled this out of my ass and called it a word) forces the opponent to Struggle to death by Encoring a Disabled move, or locks it into Protect or some other free setup bait. ALWAYS Protect on Turn 1, troll to death turn 2+. The AI is fairly stupid; it'll consistently use the same attack twice. ie, if it tries to Night Slash you Turn 1, it'll do it again on Turn 2, which means its just a free Disable -> Encore -> lol Struggle. If you do Protect -> Disable -> Encore, the next two turns are both Struggle. You can get 2 free Psychics if desired while foe loses 50% HP in recoil, switch to a setup sweeper, whatevs. Struggle is only a threat from strong, physical Pokémon like Rampardos. Funny enough, Zammy can actually tank a few Struggles. Flame Orb is to stop Paralysis/Sleep/Toxic and turn it into free hits with Psychic. No joke, this is the main killing machine.
If your foe is faster (Aerodactyl, Greninja, Noivern, Weavile, etc), run like hell. However, Scarf Pokémon (Mr. Mime, Manectric) are instantly crippled by Disable and usually fail to KO. Hilarious, and almost always Scarfed.
If they use Trick Room, shit your pants and get Khan out there.
If you see Spiritomb, it can't do a damn thing so just Protect and Struggle it.
If you see Priority, it will kill you if you don't Disable immediately.
If they use Phantom Force, switch to Khan. Protect DOES NOT block it.

MegaKhan (Its the AI, we're not being merciful)
Adamant, 180 HP, 252 Atk, 76 Speed

- Return
- Fake Out
- Drain Punch / Power Up Punch / Hammer Arm
- Sucker Punch

Unfortunately, I have at least 4 different Kangaskhan with different EVs, so I have no idea if that's actually what I ran >_>
HOWEVER, a tankish spread is vital, as you're largely spamming priority against Trick Room and sponging hits on the way in. Drain Punch is a Bank exclusive, so use Hammer Arm or Power-Up Punch if that's not available.
Khan is pretty simple; Fake Out first, smash second, avoid strong Fighting types and Ghosts. Opponent has Will-o-Miss? Zammy adores a free switch in on something harmless to Encore.

Salamence @ Life Orb (Intimidate, I reccommend Moxie)
Adamant, 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Speed

- Dragon Claw / Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Don't use this, it failed to OHKO so much shit it's sad AND ended my streak at 95.
If you can, use Outrage (Bank exclusive), Dragon Claw means everyone and their mom survives with 1-10% HP and OHKO's you. Not entirely sure what to use here.
Dragon + Ground is obviously good coverage, Stone Edge is purely for Togekiss. Things like Skarmory, Alakazam tears apart. Thanks to Alakazam, you get a giggle on the switch in, plus a free Dragon Dance.
EVs look obvious, but thanks to DD you outspeed all non-Scarf Pokémon and max Attack for max disappointment when you fail a KO. The HP lets you survive 10 turns of Life Orb (171 HP at 50).
Beyond that, it's here to provide a good Fighting resist for Khan (Don't switch Zammy into attacks. Ever).

What to fix here:
1. I only need to outrun +130's after a single boost really, AI has no Megas and Accelgor / Electrode really aren't scary.
2. Perfect coverage, or close.
3. Fighting resist.
4. The ability to OHKO a Samurott. Or take a hit.
5. Special sweeper is probably best; Khan does good physically and two Pokémon fucked by Ferrothorn is why I lost. It kind of ignored the Encore/Disable and killed Alakazam.
6. Potent in 1 turn of setup. Its usually all you get.

I was thinking Volcarona? Fire/Bug/Psychic is only walled by Heatran.

If this is the wrong place / subject, I can drop this, no questions asked.

I like the ball on this one, but dragonite looks stupid in it.....
Is it possible to run a sleep talk dragonair set without getting wall by fairy ?
Outrage and dragon tail are useless now

Okay so I'm gunna be having a cryogonal in my team, timid nature. 252 in speed and special defence. Before I breed it is it worth trying to get a certain hidden power on it or not? Or would froslass be a better option altogether?

- Psychic
- Protect

Hard to explain, but as a lead it just dickbaggishly (yes I just pulled this out of my ass and called it a word)

I faced a similar threat in a Battle Spot, except it was a Mega Alakazam with priority over all of my other pokemon. It was pretty damn annoying.

Anyways, opinions on this Trick Room all-out damage team?

slowbro.gif

Regenerator / Quiet / Focus Sash
- Trick Room
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Psychic

The cornerstone of the team, the main idea is for him to always come out first and set up Trick Room, then switch out to heal off 33% of his health, in case he can be a threat.

----------------------------------

escavalier.gif

Overcoat / Brave / Assault Vest
- Knock Off
- Drill Run
- Megahorn
- Iron Head

The team's second greatest asset, with great bulk, the slowest fully-evolved pokemon speed possible (matching Ferrothorn), plus great coverage with his two STABS and Drill Run and great utility in the now viable Knock Off.

----------------------------------

scrafty.gif

Moxie / Brave / Lum Berry
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- Crunch
- Rock Slide

A much more threatening asset, no longer needing Dragon Dance to build speed, as well as an Attack boosting nature, meaning that he can deal great damage to huge threats such as any Garchomp, who is 1HKO in every form by Ice Punch (previously, Scarf Garchomp could easily outrun him, but now very little pokemon that can be threats can outspeed him), as well as the ability to have more coverage for Fire types, which threaten Escavalier. Contemplating replacing the Lum Berry with something else, as the only real threat are Trickster users.

----------------------------------

ampharos-mega.gif

Static / Quiet / Ampharosite
- Thunder
- Dragon Pulse
- Signal Beam
- HP Water

Probably the best Mega-Evo for a team like this, with decreasing speed as he mega-evolves, plus a Dragon-Electric typing, giving coverage I've actually never had before (as I don't usually use Dragon types). Water is better than Ice solely because Scrafty has Ice Punch and Nidoking has Ice Beam, while there are no offensive Water threats on the team otherwise.

----------------------------------

nidoking.gif

Sheer Force / Quiet / Life Orb
- Sludge Wave
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower

Nidoking's biggest threat of speedier threats is no longer a problem, so he can safely roam the land in case the extra coverage is needed.

----------------------------------

vaporeon.gif

Water Absorb / Relaxed / Leftovers
- Wish
- Scald
- Toxic
- Protect

Vaporeon was a staple on my previous team, and can be even more threatening now that it can outspeed what would usually challenge it, such as Talonflame, while still serving as a viable teammate if I can't get Trick Room back up.

If I had to, I'd probably replace Nidoking, since he has no coverage that is needed otherwise, since he's only needed as a way to wall Thunder types.

While its true that scrafty no longer needs DD with TR, you could still use Bulk up over rock slide, as rock slide is not necessary with him already having ice punch and drain punch (already have 2 water types to deal with fire). Also, Priority BB from T-flame still outpaces vaporean in TR (Priority is not affected by TR, unless you both use a move of the same priority :3)

Edit: also, focus sash on slowbro is a waste. Im guessing theres an item clause, but there are way better items than a focus sash. Slowbro is really bulky, even if an offensive set. :3

Forgot about Gale Wings. I can just pull Slowbro out, maybe I'll replace Scald on him with Surf, since Vaporeon has Scald already.

I'll probably use Bulk Up, I was actually looking for a boost move for Scrafty other than Dragon Dance, but I must have missed that somehow.

i think dragonair was a thing in NU once upon a time. i mean ingame, at least, anything's useful
i also agree that shiny dragonite is awful-looking with that ball and awful-looking in general >:(
