Guys, once again, this is LYLO. We need to lynch an anti-town or we lose, and the activity today is quite simply baffling.

What happened? Time is up...

For cxinlee, the fact that he only did 4 reads could be a real buss. He said that he found Obbmud/Ace/Celever(me!) town, and swf mafia. He then failed to provide reasoning to accompany it. My theory is that his scum partner is actually swf, and the two of them planned an elaborate buss today. I mean, it's just a theory, so I wouldn't read into it too much! :p. I'd still like cxinlee to do reads on the rest of the game though.

Tesung 4-5 hours finished ages ago. In fact, you should be at work again now, which means that you had the morning to do it as well.

However, spiresquire hasn't voted today at all. I would lynch him, but he's not been too scummy in general for me, he's very much been benchmark, but once again I am going to Lynch PokeguyNXB because this is my ONE aggravation in this game. THIS GUY WILL NOT EVEN TRY TO POST! It is thoroughly frustrating for me, especially because of his "omg sorry I totally <insert excuse here>". He could have used that time to post a few thoughts on the players, a quick suspects list or WHATEVER, but NO, he wastes it going "omg i am so soz bc i didnt have internet and now that i have it i dont want to read i want to make a dumb excuse lolololol". Oh wait, his excuse was "omg soz i totes went on this 3 day trip and i forgot to tell anyone! >_< Oh no i am such a derp I'M SORRY! DOES BOLDING AND CAPS MAKE IT MORE BELIEVABLE AND DOES IT MAKE ME LOOK SORRY????"

Sorry to the rest of the game, I just had to get my rant down about this guy. His complete and total ignorance keeps distracting me from scumhunting because I spend that time tagging him. I know I should just ignore him but... I don't know it's just not in my nature to do so...

Also tagfest for LightWolf, More Cowbell and starwarsfan because I didn't do you in the main bulk of the post.

I don't want to lynch him atm since there's already a vote on him, but wow, that's a lot of excuses and no content whatsoever.
 
Oh yeah, Pokeguy, I'll give you 24 Hours from this post to post some content. No excuses, nothing. If you don't post, I'll lynch you, and try to get others to do the same. This is way out of hand.

I appreciate your effort to check participation in the village, but you need to be a little more understanding. I'm keeping current in the thread, I'm haven't posted anything of value because I'm trying not to rush into anything. Something you're not doing with a rather emotional lynch, something that, like LW said, could make us lose very quickly. We've got very little to go off of and a big decision to make. I'm not comfortable dashing headlong into this, and personally I think its more beneficial to watch for scum reads as mafia attempts to secure their victory. I'm not master of mafia mindset like LW, but it makes sense that the mafia will be most active in LYLO as they attempt to take pressure off themselves and ensure victory.

I know I've been non substantial, because my school work is piling up for exams. It's my fault.

I'm suspecting celever right now. It's due to a behavior which is apparently scummy known as inactivity witch hunting. I did that day 1 of tpnoc. I'm watching carefully but I understand that it's post or lose at this moment.
Ss follows the player he's subbing in inactivity...nothing new...
Swf, your post on pokeguy is good, but I think some comparison with his subee is in order.
 
So I went back to like page 15 and started reading everything and I'm just gonna post some comments on anything that I find comment worthy and we shall see what we get.

Looking at nitrox's analysis of Obbmud's posts it came to me how stupidly honest Obbmud is about his attempts to not get lynched, going as far as mentioning he is gonna vote this guy because voting the other guy would be bandwagoning basically. Don't misunderstand me, I actually like that attitude, it'd be much worse if he tried to deny it. It feels like an attempt at not being misslynched rather than a mafia trying to appear less suspicious(I actually employ a similar strategy, which to point out my own suspicious moves before anyone else can in the very posts I make them, honesty tends to be a good policy, even if it's honesty about your lies in his case...). I can't condone focusing on one's own survival rather than hunting mafia, but he is just so damn open about it!

Okkkkkkkay, I don't really wanna do this AGAIN, but I said I'm gonna post everything that comes to my mind as I read through the thread so even if it means attacking Celever again, I gotta do it: In your page 17, LightWolfRage inducing post, you start by removing the 100% clean nitrox and yourself, that's fine and dandy, then you proceed to evaluate Ace Emerald as near the same level of cleanness based on the a gut feeling based on him acting town. I'm sorry but this is highly hypocritical, you were the prime advocator of the don't trust experienced people just because they look town now you do a 180 and call someone near clean based on the fact they look town!

Then the argument happened, lets skip that... Expect I like spiresquire's post here, so let me list my thoughts. He is actually the most reasonable in his reply, also pretty honest about his own shortcomings! He also p much points out why our posts became an arms race, because sheep mentality is powerful stuff and if you don't refute arguments quickly people might take the other's for granted. So yeah I like this guy! (Main thing I like he says the whole thing has been bad, not just the recent arguments that day)

Blablabla, I keep reading, we reach the point where Obbmud claims. Which initially is met with negativity, then math saves the day and I'm back to accusing Celever of stuff, yay... He posts this "Who else are we going to vote, guys? I've admitted that Obbmud's defense is pretty good" Right after MC points out that it's not 95% that there is no mason in the game. I don't wanna nitpick but "I've admitted" implies having already done so when his previous ergo that before this post he admitted to the fact that obbmud's defense is decent, but all his posts between obbmud's defense and this one are constant attempts at invalidating said defense. I mean sure if this was just a typo and he meant to say "I admit" but can someone seriously typo a tense? Yeah it's just a minor thing, but when the post is read out of context it makes Celever appear having been far more in favour of not lynching obbmud after his defense than he actually was(which is not at all). This is the kind of backing out I believe I saw day 1 and which started my argument, that being said since it's p much like that, I don't really see much coming out of this, but as I said, whatever comes to my mind, I list here.

starwarsfan posts how Obbmud has no reason to claim vanilla over mason, and that is true, but not the argument that matters. Claiming villager is silly, but he could claim any non villager role and try to delay us, or go for the far better argument and claim a role we can't lost at this point, like BG or Doctor, can be similarly cced like mason but in worst case he just outed the actual doctor or BG for them, mason being outed on the other hand doesn't make for a very lucrative target outside of being p much cleaned by circumstance (which would FORCE mafia's hand in killing him rather than letting them pick of players based on what user they want out of the game). In short mason's leagues below the best possible "I'm fucked" mafia claims, being the riskiest and least rewarding if it fails. Naturally once you consider these it becomes more rewarding because people doubt it less, but it's still ehhhhhhh compared to Doctor.

No, just no... This is just horrible. You are at this stage of a game honestly trying to get a player lynched because of basically not playing the game, NO JUST NO! That's just an easy lynch toooooo fucking easy, little resistance, easy to push blame onto, it's a joke! IF WE WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THE GUY WE ASK OUR HOST. If this is some elaborate scheme to win the game by a mafia player then as a host I wouldn't condone this behavior, you don't play a game by ignoring and making excuses(fair enough I got roped into pretending I'm on a vacation in a big game once while acting as the mafia contact under a different alias, but that was an OC game where OC interaction isn't mandatory) and if this is just plain inactivity then I'm sorry Pokeguy but you should have subbed out already yourself, I mean I don't think you are quite enjoying this game as you are having problems using the forums on your handheld device, and for that I don't blame you, but after your problems kept you from p much enjoying this game(because I doubt it's fun being not able to do anything). So now that I at least tried not to sound like an ass to him, NO JUST NO!

Basically THIS ISN'T SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE DEALING WITH! We shouldn't waste our last lynch on giving an ultimatum to an inactive player, it's not like that shit did anything previous days, it's merely an excuse to post and a lynch target that will resist SOOOOO little!

On a last note, sorry shinyskarmory for hounding you day 3 and pushing this onto you as well, the game hasn't been very easy on you clearly with the number of subs... You can take comfort in that I at least enjoyed the ride. This still means I expect you to take care of this shit while we actually try to lynch someone reasonable...

Sorry guys, I promised I would post but a combo of school/laziness/not really liking nocs it turns out made me not. Anyways, I would be most on board with an swf lynch. The one thing that worries me is the amount of people who want him lynched, because it could be mafia working together. Otherwise, I think light wolf and celever are both fairly suspicious, and I don't know how I feel about celevers insane amount of posts/activity witch hunt, it could be a distraction, or it could just be him trying really hard.

Oh and one more thing, spiresquire essentially did "one good post and I'm out". Sort of like he felt he cleared himself and then had no reason to help the village from there. Not like a huge scum tell, but just wanna hear what others think about it

I pointed this out to him a few pages back and he had quite a good response. Nothing amazing, but not bad. On iPad though, so good luck finding it! :p

I'm honestly unsure why being active during LYLO is a scumtell... Like I understand that mafias could actively witch hunt on a day like this and get less interested townies on board, but I've done very little tunelling today. Really I've been doing two things, applying pressure to people so that we can find a lynch target soon (mainly trying to get PokeguyNXB to post -- if this is LYLO I think that unless we get him on the wagon we can't physically win? That is if he is in fact extremely bad playing town, anyway...) and I also requested for someone to explain in finer detail why swf is so freakin' scummy. Like I can quite literally not see it however many times I go through his posts.

I assumed that you guys would get that the lynch in Pokeguy, like before, was for inactivity. I just had to get that little rant out of my system, since even on LYLO he just made a dumb excuse. Now that von is going to sub in and most likely launch a full-on assault at me, I guess that Pokeguy is going to start being active... So even though this will be taken off when von subs in anyway, I'll unlynch PokeguyNXB, just for the principle of it! :p

Right now my lynch is still Obbmud, even though I feel like I can really get behind that claim now that I think about it. Next would be a LW lynch, but that's never going to happen. Third would be... Well spiresquire I suppose. Like Tesung said above, he's doing just enough to get by, and almost got a freepass thanks to his first post. He also hasn't posted at all today. I would lynch for pressure but I have a feeling he's typing up some big long post since he tends to do that once a day. We'll see if it's up in the morning...

Ok it's time to fix this shit show.

All that I'm about to say I say as an outsider. I was 100% certain who I would lynch when I asked to be subbed in, and frankly I'm probably not going to change my lynch vote for anything. There's a day left and you guys are just going in circles so this is how it's going to be.

I personally think that both Celever and Lightwolf are town. Celever is typical stupid town Celever, and Lightwolf is a very level-headed person whose game has been ruined by Celever's typical attitude.

If I had a 2nd best guess for mafia it would be starwarsfan. I've also personally experienced him as a stupid townie, and I don't as much get this vibe here. But that's not who I'm lynching, I doubt it would go down and frankly it'd be a bit suspect if I went after the same person Pokeguy did.

It was funny to me to see people go after Pokeguy so hard and yet pretty much give a pass to the more egregious idler. As an outsider, it's always obvious that when one person takes a lot of heat and the other person just lies low, the person who lies low is the mafia. You don't easily see this in the heat of gameplay, but I see at as a host and observer all the time. For all you picked on Pokeguy he was still just a very fresh player who didn't know how to play town. Yet no one gave the same amount of shit to spiresquire, the worst idler in the game. That's why I asked to be subbed in for Pokeguy, since you all wanted it so badly. So that I could point you in the right direction.

I guess the standard protocol is to see if spiresquire finally comes out of hiding? Or to see if his mafia teammates defend him? I really don't fucking care, I'm not gonna be posting TL;DRs about it and I don't want any of them directed at me. I'm fully confident in my analysis of the game so far, something you all seem to lack. Let's get it.
