So not voting for a green/pink pony covered in flowers makes me gay?

If you're a MAN you would vote for Scrappy Forretress I mean he has cannons that shoot outs Legos to hurt intruders while throwing away rocks that might hurt your feet. If you vote for Scrappy Forretress he will protect you from any attack, even those from spooky ghouls! #ScrappyForretress2014

A vote for Virizion is a vote for specism!

A vote for Zygarde is a vote for equality!
 
Do you truly believe these "legendaries" need more buffs? They have 580 to 600 BST yet fail to even meet expectations. Zygarde and Virizion are elitist lollygaggers that use their high base stat totals to buy the votes of the people. They claim their votes are for "equality" when they themselves are the elite, what hypocrites. The same thing with Mega Houndoom another elitist with 600 BST. Vote for Forretress the working man's pokemon. Forretress has done more in the OU meta with 465 Base stat points than Virizion, Houndoom and Zygarde have combined. Some have argued that Scrappy doesn't fit for Forretress but his persistant hazard clearing throughout the generations despite his clear disadvantages makes it clear that Forretress is truly smart, truly good... truly Scrappy.

Tbh we don't really need anything to feed talonflame atm. It has enough for itself. Pick virizion, and that's exactly what you'll be doing.

Talonflame says hi to forretress and virizion. BB can do some serious damage to mega houndoom. Will-o-wisp (though not too common on talon) can hold down Zygarde...but... for how long?

Before voting, stand there and think, "Do we really need more bait to lure talonflame? Do we really want to see more of that? Do we want the boring bird since the start of Gen 6 OU to be used even more?

Vote for Zygarde. A good way to stop feeding one of OU's most common poke.

Forretress is just your stereotypical old white guy (is he white? You never know when someone refuses to reveal anything about themselves but what they want you to see). Sure he's got a nice underdog sob story, but he's been around since gen 3 and has helped lead us to the crisis we are currently in. He's really not any different from any other candidate we've had. All he'll do is support those already in power, and leave the children at risk

Zygarde has fresh blood and a unique perspective. With his original stat distribution, the power to adapt to what type of set up sweeper your team needs, and a great offensive movepool in an accurate stone miss and ESpeed, he promises to serve as a wall between you and the physical powers at large.

Are we really in a crisis? This sounds like blatant alarmism to me. What has Zygarde done? It claims to be able to calm the feuds between Xerneas and Yveltal yet it is weak to both of them. Forretress does not claim to be anything other than itself a kind, caring, hardworking Pokemon whose persistance in the goal of clearing entry hazards and clearing the streets of crime makes him truly scrappy. Forretress is willing to fight against those in power he will sacrifice himself in an Explosion rather than let evil triumph.

The crisis from above, the menace of bird spam. Talonflame, Pinsir, Staraptor, (gale wings salamence), all will eat your children like worms. Forretress can do nothing to stop them. Vote for the children, vote for Zygarde

Honestly, I havent been to impressed with this slate and I am going to choose not to vote. I really hope the next slate has a lot of good options. They are still alright suggestions but it is quite obvious that none will really have too much affect on the meta.
 
VOTING IS NOW CLOSED

In a shocking turn of events, there seemed to be a slight bit of disarray among one voter who took the campaigning of against the current voters rather seriously, causing their ballot to have a nominee not represented on the current slate of Huge Power Infernape to be written in and crossed out to instead have another vote in its place. This single vote was confusing at first, but was added non the less to the pool, only for it to short circuit the whole counting machine, making the counters jump around like actual monkeys for a good two days as we went through recount and recount. The voter who caused this problem will be alerted soon of their involvement in causing a mass recount.

The two lowest votes came from one that was thought to be stupidly powerful for a theorymon to something that was questioned why it was here at all with Competitive MegaDoom and Scrappy Forretress each receiving to votes. The C.A.L.B.P. could not be reached on their reactions to how successful they were to match a votes of a 600 BST mon, but their interview will come in due time. The MegaDoom party has sadly failed to comment on their disappointing turnout truly showing that the community is really sick of dark types.

Second place with six votes comes Flower Veil Virizion who started as an underdog in this as, really, no one knew what its ability was really suppose to do. It received a surge in the final minutes of voting, with nearly 30% of its votes coming in from that time period showing that it was actually popular despite the intentions of the other campaigners.

Yet the winner of this round is non other than Shed Skin Zygarde with 14 votes, and some may question the tactics employed by his campaigners by closely associating a non breeding Pokémon with children, it worked flawlessly in the end as they won this vote by 8 more votes than anyone else!

Congratz to wyrm for winning and we hope to see the new slate with more diversity and LESS MONKEY BUSINESS next time! (Elephant business is approved though :D)

You don't have to worry about any more monkey business. The Fan-Boy Party has chosen Wonder Guard Pikachu as its nominee in the next election.
 
That party is becoming a true powerhouse in these campaigns. They might get more votes than the C.A.L.B.P. nominees next time if they keep that up.

A potentially defensive protean mon that has offensive powers as well? And one that is already one of the best spinners in the game? Yes please!

I'll be back when I've looked into the others, but I don't see myself voting for anything else right now.
