So... You Trick my Focus Sash (Which would do nothing as I was burned) for a Choice Scarf, then not switch out and let your trapper die? Okay...
Umm... Leaving Chansey in on a Porygon-Z spamming Tri Attack? When Skarmoru eats that shit up?
Oh, and them Freeze hacks. Ouch (Should of switched out tho!)

Edit: okay it wasn't THAT stupid. This will make up for it though!
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-124813478
Okay, I only used Rock Tomb to see if he was gonna switch to Venusuar. That. Never. Happened.
So I ended up sweeping his team with Spore+MachPumch/BulletSeed
Also Hypnosis Gardevoir lol
Also sending in BISHARP before Venusuar. Let me repeat. BISHARP
That guys attitude. WTF. What a dick.

Sometimes people think it's a good idea to give random mega stones to random pokemon to block trick/knock off. It's not, really, but that's the logic...
I remember hearing people in the beginning of the metagame claiming that giving megastones to a Pokemon blocks Knock Off/Trick. I guess the (false) rumor has spread too far.

It was actually somewhat legit a while back because it was thought that Mega Stones block Trick/Knock Off on Pokémon that aren't the right one, and PS was coded accordingly. It's more a slowpoke than anything

Random Shit volume 122: Hopefully Less Derping Today Edition
-Drain Punch+Giga Drain Ludicolo. Gotta stay healthy.
-A surprisingly effective Rock Polish+Weakness Policy Cradily.
-Swanna in general is a bit odd, but this one had Brave Bird and Frustration, both used against a Tyranitar.
-Can I just put Ninjask here every time I see it now?
-Quick Attack Crobat.
-An all-Flying team with no hazard removal (enjoy those sneaky pebbles).
-Stone Edge Keldeo. Surprised the shit out of that Salamence, at least, especially since it critted.

-Air Balloon Pidgeot.
-Non-mega Ampharos.
-Flame Wheel+Iron Tail Arcanine.
-Dragon Rage+Body Slam non-mega Charizard.
-Bonus: the above five were all on the same team. (In case you were wondering, the sixth member was Slowking.)
-Dragon Dance+Flamethrower+Aqua Tail+Ice Beam Dragonite.
-Physical Azumarill with... Sap Sipper. At least it was on the receiving end of a WP pass. Then it later used Belly Drum, activating its Berry Juice.
-Venusaur spamming Energy Ball against said Azumarill.
-HP Grass Torrent Greninja, also against said Azumarill.
-Blastoise using Dragon Tail, ALSO against said Azumarill.
-Another non-mega Charizard with HP either Electric or Poison, yet again, used on that Azumarill.
-Discharge+Roar+Volt Switch Jolteon.
-Calm Mind Malamar. Thankfully, it was not Contrary.
-Solarbeam Chesnaught without sun or a Power Herb. It also had Energy Ball.
-Draco Meteor Jirachi.
-Signal Beam Vaporeon.
-Sacred Sword+Giga Impact+Close Combat Keldeo.
-Torrent Greninja, also with Giga Impact.
-Aguav Berry Hydreigon.
-M-Houndoom with Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Overheat.
-ANOTHER non-mega Charizard, this time with Inferno.

-Flame Charge Talonflame. Gotta go fast.
-Night Slash Aegislash. No.
-Non-mega Absol.
-ANOTHER Torrent Greninja.
-Shedinja without a Focus Sash.
-Gengar using Toxic on Espeon.
-Ambipom again. This one used Beat Up when it was the last mon alive, and against Justified Gallade.

14th Round of silly replays: Another Unlucky Edition

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-124928763
And this is in the 1300s.
  • Thunder Wave + Gyro Ball Ferrothorn. There should be a Trainer Tip about the lack of synergy between both moves.
  • Hidden Power (certainly Fire, as it dealt 28% to Ferrothorn) Azumarill in the other team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-124936458
3v6, but with this big misplay: using Dazzling Gleam instead of Sludge Bomb/Wave against Zapdos.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-124948305
Team A:
  • SubPunch Mega Abomasnow with Energy Ball instead of Giga Drain.
  • LEFTOVERS Chansey.
  • Zangoose.
Team B:
  • Magma Storm Heatran.
  • Haunter.
  • Cosmic Power Starmie. At least it had Recover.
  • Lickilicky. With Belly Drum and Explosion!
  • Lapras (not sent out).

BONUS:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-124947235
Team A: I'll be short, only (Mega?) Manectric is viable in this team.

Team B: Only four Pokémon, including a gimmicky Assist Contrary Spinda set who started with Victini's V-create. The crit might have ruined the strategy.

Turn 13

The opposing Chandelure usedFlamethrower!
Florges lost 26.7% of its health!

Florges used Wish!

Florges restored HP using its Leftovers!

Faul McCartney: fairy

Florges protected itself!

The opposing Chandelure usedFlamethrower!
Florges protected itself!

Florges's wish came true!
Florges restored HP using its Leftovers!
Turn 15
Aidankeel: K

The opposing Chandelure used Dark Pulse!
It's not very effective... Florges lost 8.3% of its health!

Florges used Moonblast!
It's not very effective... The opposing Chandelure lost 19% of its health!

Florges restored HP using its Leftovers!

Random Shit volume 122: Hopefully Less Derping Today Edition
Now with 50% Less more Hclegend!
-Drain Punch+Giga Drain Ludicolo. Gotta stay healthy.
Sucking is good for you!
-A surprisingly effective Rock Polish+Weakness Policy Cradily.
"When I grow up, I want to be an Aggron!"
-Swanna in general is a bit odd, but this one had Brave Bird and Frustration, both used against a Tyranitar.
Dat 87 Base Attack. Which is the same as its special attack
-Can I just put Ninjask here every time I see it now?
Meh, sure why not
-Quick Attack Crobat.
Gotta go fast
-An all-Flying team with no hazard removal (enjoy those sneaky pebbles).
The same pebbles that kept Charizard NU for 2 gens
-Stone Edge Keldeo. Surprised the shit out of that Salamence, at least, especially since it critted.
Muh Icy Wind! D:
-Copycat Blissey. It also managed to get not one, but two double Protects.
At least it didn't have Minimize (It's legal in Ubers at least)
-Air Balloon Pidgeot.
Because fuck Earthquake?
-Non-mega Ampharos.
But it's so cute! </3
-Flame Wheel+Iron Tail Arcanine.
Someones been using Chuggaconroys team from Crystal
-Dragon Rage+Body Slam non-mega Charizard.
Dragon Rage Dragonair. Beat that.
-Bonus: the above five were all on the same team. (In case you were wondering, the sixth member was Slowking.)
Slowking is a fuckin BAWS (Disclamer: Slowking is not a BAWS, the only BAWS is Galvantula)
-Dragon Dance+Flamethrower+Aqua Tail+Ice Beam Dragonite.
Pretty sure I saw this in Ubers.... Wait, it had BLIZZARD. Completely different
-Physical Azumarill with... Sap Sipper. At least it was on the receiving end of a WP pass. Then it later used Belly Drum,
activating its Berry Juice.
"Slowly bashes head against wall
-Discharge+Roar+Volt Switch Jolteon.
Kill. It. With. Fire. (Volt Switch isn't bad on Jolteon though)
-Calm Mind Malamar. Thankfully, it was not Contrary.
Why?
-Solarbeam Chesnaught without sun or a Power Herb. It also had Energy Ball.
Waste of a great physical attacker there T.T
-Draco Meteor Jirachi.
It's an event only move though :o
-Signal Beam Vaporeon.
Gotta hit Grass types
-Sacred Sword+Giga Impact+Close Combat Keldeo.
Every time someone uses physical Keldeo.... I couldn't think of anything witty. So... Don't use Physical Keldeo. Especially with Giga Impace
-Torrent Greninja, also with Giga Impact.
"face palm"
-Aguav Berry Hydreigon.
"cries"
-M-Houndoom with Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Overheat.
Wat is this even!
-ANOTHER non-mega Charizard, this time with Inferno.
FFFS (For Final Fantasy's Sake) WHY INFERNO
-Acrobatics Talonflame with what I'm assuming to be a King's Rock.
Y U NO BRAVE BIRD
-Counter Gliscor.
I've lost hope in humanity
-Aerial Ace Ambipom. Also, Ambipom.
Ambipon is.... A thing. Aerial Ace is shite mind
-Flame Charge Talonflame. Gotta go fast.
Flame Charge Charizard X. With Belly Drum. I think I win.
-Night Slash Aegislash. No.
WHY
-Non-mega Absol.
Godammit!
-ANOTHER Torrent Greninja.
FFFS WHY DON'T PEOPLE USE COMMON SENSE
-Shedinja without a Focus Sash.
FUUUU- actually it could of been Safety Goggles, potentially cancelling out a Tyranitars Sand Stream or something
-Gengar using Toxic on Espeon.
It would of been funnier if it hit too XD
-Ambipom again. This one used Beat Up when it was the last mon alive, and against Justified Gallade.
I HAVE NO WORDS
So yeah I commented on this and shit.
Huzzah

Random Shit volume 118: 4 Hour Drive, 10 Minute Interview Edition
-Two Azumarill using Aqua Jet against each other. One did 13.4%. The other did 31.2% on a crit. Hmm...
-Using Trick Room when the opponent had Ferrothorn out.
-Amoonguss using both Spore and Giga Drain on M-Venusaur. You can probably guess how that turned out.
-Switching Azumarill into an obvious Sludge Bomb.
-Throh.
-Whiscash.
-Head Smash Tyrantrum. Rock Head when?
-Rotom-W using Volt Switch on Gliscor.
-Gliscor responding by using EQ.
-Gliscor guy said GG when his opponent was down to Rotom-W and Garchomp, only to forfeit about 40 turns later after the ensuing stallfest (the Rotom was ChestoRest).
-Infernape outspeeding Talonflame. That shouldn't be happening: Ape wasn't scarfed, and TF can outspeed it with 252 ev's and Adamant.
-Said TF also had Leftovers.
-Two separate mono electric teams outside of monotype. One of them had Zebstrika.
-Life Orb Solarbeam (no idea if it had Sunny Day) Venusaur somehow outspeeding a Y-zard.
-Dugtrio using EQ on said Y-zard.
-Air Balloon Gyarados. Just no.
-Forretress with what I'm assuming to be Hidden Power Electric.
-Air Balloon Dark Pulse Gengar. Because fuck Mold Breaker Excadrill.
-Noivern doing only 43% to a Ninetales with Draco Meteor. It should be doing ~60% minimum without specs and can OHKO with them. It could have been max SDef Tales, based on the calcs, which is just not that good. And why was he using Ninetales in OU anyway when Y-zard exists?
-Leavanny. Didn't even use Sticky Web, ffs.
-Copycat Lucario.
-Babiri Berry Gardevoir.
-Many issues here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-123472022
-Quick Claw, unknown HP type, Torrent Greninja. Bonus: Quick Claw activated twice against Ferrothorn.
-Lock-On+Zap Cannon Magnezone. Not awful, but it has better things to be doing.
-Sitrus Berry Blissey. Ever heard of Soft-Boiled? Or even Wish?
-Play Rough Klefki. That's a new one.
-I understand some unexpected stuff is hard to deal with. But why did it take this long to deal with this one? And that's not all: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-123469510
nice title!

Pardon the weird picture sizes. ._.

it's a shame this togekiss got 3 boosts from ancient power. i wanted to see this guys dunsparce set

Just saw a guy whos ubers team was eelektross, genesect, frosslass, serperior, chandelure, and clawitzer

the eelektross crippled kyogre and arceus(it was fly normal arceus, but still) and the frosslass killed groudon in the sun with blizzard. Then the guy had to go, i really wanted to see him win with that team T.T

I'd say that Night Slash is the real oddball on that set. Head Smash has a few niche uses in hitting things like Mandibuzz and Togekiss (I guess). Night Slash is just redundant with Aegislash's Ghost STAB. What are you hitting with that? Meloetta? Girafarig?
