Support...Golem?

I was going to praise the d00d for trying AV Golem (bulky as hell)

and then

that

not even the best part!

Random Shit volume 124: Sides are in Orbit Edition
-Sucker Punch Umbreon. Also with the much better Foul Play.
-Flareon.
-Someone ragequitting after Politoed attempted to Perish Song stall him. You know, you could switch out...
-Charizard nicknamed "The Sun", spamming Fire Blast... and not mega evolving.
-Azumarill using Play Rough instead of Waterfall on Excadrill.
-Skarmory trying to stack Stealth Rock.
-Someone using normal Kyurem in a monotype ice team.
-I've seen Flamethrower Blissey before, but Fire Blast?
-Normal Rotom.
-Gallade.
-Will-o-Wisp+Ancient Power non-mega Charizard.
-Golbat. Eviolite be damned.
-Torterra.
-Torkoal.
-Raticate. It might have been an attempt at Level 100 FEAR, with Counter as a bonus.
-Mirror Coat Smeargle.
-Two Cacturne.
-Another Flareon.
-Sigilyph. And it used Psychic on a M-Gyarados. Maybe he forgot about the type change.
-A team consisting entirely of mons nicknamed "Suicide". And he won.
-MAGIKARP.
-Berry Juice Zapdos.
-A player who forfeited after his opponent's last mon, a 1 HP Smeargle, Spored his Mawile. He had 3 other mons left, one of which was YET ANOTHER non-mega Charizard (because Mawile went mega).
-Sceptile flinging a King's Rock at a Cloyster.
-Fire Blast M-Gyarados.
-Victreebel. No sun.
-Raichu. With Body Slam.
-Thundurus using Thunder Wave on Swampert.
-Said Swampert had Body Slam as well.
the last 4 was a battle I had :( I forgot it was a ground type

WATCH THIS
WATCH THIS AND FEEL YOUR EYES BURN
And I thought I've seen it all. This battle really kept me on the edge of my seat. It was back-and-forth with many unpredictable twists and turns. In the end, it came down to TiareBieber wanting to lose it more than BatManHD who tried his very best to piss away the win but came up just short.

Got a few matches with this team:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-125825719 (opponent forfeited at turn 7 after Venusaur's Curse)
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-125825951 (almost won this one, Chansey gave me huge problems; also notice Belly Drum Chesnaught and non-Mega Mawile)
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-125827252 (6-0 Mega Gardevoir sweep with Dragonite switching into Mega Gardevoir, CONFUSION Alakazam, Fly Pidgeot, Wigglytuff, Blizzard Gyarados and lots of hax)

A BP team that set up 3 Shell Smash, but failed to do anything. It let a Forretress stack hazards, kept using Substitute on things a +6 Sylveon could have destroyed and lost from hazard damage. The opponent had 5 perfectly viable OU staples. And a Feebas.

A Scolipede letting Volcarona use Quiver Dance 5 times in a row, just to use Toxic Spikes.
...
Yes, the Scolipede used Toxic Spikes FIVE TIMES.

A Donphan versus Donphan battle, yes in OU, not in 1vs1 (and also the obvious "Donphan in OU")

Last but definitely not least :
What do you do when you're a Smeargle that used Sticky Web before realizing the opponent has a Bisharp ?
Answer : Use DEFOG

(btw, Defog+SW Smeargle... *facepalm*)

The opposing Gliscor used Sky Uppercut!
It's super effective! Blissey lost 47.5% of its health!

Mmkay, Ima go to bed now.

Umm... Ice coverage? It's certainly legit coming from a decent base 95, and it's more powerful that fire fang, and also has a slightly better offensive typing. A friend of mine used to run bulky SD gliscor, and it does decently enough, what with everyone expecting toxstall. Sure, it's not the best option, but it's slightly better than you think it is.
Also hits flying mons which is super useful

What's going on here ?
Flame Orb Rest Psycho Shift Noctowl ? (btw, Togekiss does this better -- no, "slightly less bad" rather than "better")
Said Noctowl resting while at full hp ?
+ some stupid things (Fake out for dummies, really weird rain team...)
+ Belly Drum Clefable. Without physical moves

Trevenant is the new Satan. Also featuring Deoxys Speed using Extreme Speed... on said Trevenant (gotta go--fail), Aegislash switching on Phantom Force, Miltank using random moves...

I never implied that I condemned the move, nor the use of alternative sets, but with that said, when's the last time anyone has to go out of their way to hit an Ice Type for SE damage?

If he had utilized your friend's Swords Dance build, my Blissey would have certainly been dead, and I gather that Skarmory is threatened more reliably than with Stone Edge.

Against the more competitive choice of Chansey, it's another story, and there's always the option of switching to Landorus/Keldeo/any special attacker, or even Pinsir, who can set up his own SD on your Fourth slot move (I'll just say Ice Fang) and dispatch Gliscor with Return upon Mega Evolving, since even defensive variants are killed at +2.
