Wat

Also, Ledian lmao

Roar/Stealth Rock/Brave Bird/Roost. Going old school.
I was going to complain that I successfully used a similar set (Whirlwind/Spikes/Brave Bird/Roost) yesterday in a tournament with my friends but then I remembered we were playing Gen IV and that it literally WAS old school. (My lead Tyranitar had Stealth Rock).

Note that the rules were that we could NOT switch out. So, Whirlwind was the only way to get Spikes and Stealth Rock damage consistently.

The old fashioned sets we had were hilarious to make fun of. My one friend had a Salamence that he raised up that literally did not have any good moves. I REALLY didn't believe in priority back then (my only priorities are Lucario's Extremespeed and Scizor's Bullet Punch). My Bronzong was terribly underwhelming. There was a Toxic/Double Team/Baton Pass/Swagger Umbreon. It was up against my -2 SpAtk, -1 Atk Salamence... My Salamence killed it hitting 5/9 Brick Breaks. He didn't use Swagger because +1 Attack wouldn't be good when something is Brick Breaking you and he didn't want to use Baton Pass until Salamence fainted (but eh, when you're dealing with Hax...). On the other hand my Scizor passing Double Teams to my Togekiss really ruined my other friend's day.

i'm stuck in the house waiting for a phone call so i've been doing nothing but watching replays, and boy oh boy do i have a list.

-mandibuzz trying to whirlwind a team to death on SR
-that's it, that was the guy's strat.
-another guy trying the same thing, but with skarmory.
-charmander. just charmander.
-non-mega charizard spamming thunderpunch on Ttar.
-said TTar not going for the KO and just spamming crunch, probably from pity.
-greninja setting hazards. plural. they wasted multiple move slots for this.
-how not to BP: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-134755888
-switching bisharp into a weakened donphan's EQ and dying. (sucker punch is overrated i guess)
-three different non-sashed smeargles.
-offensive deo-d. with dark pulse and ice beam.
-eevee.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-134786858
-talonflame with fly
-whaaaat is going on with that garchomp?
-physical gengar
-a really weird mega gardevoir set

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-134784092
-super fang scrafty? is this a thing and i'm just not aware?
-fire spin/wow arcanine (the punchline is that it walls the other team for over 15 turns.)
-zardx using dragon dance and then... flamethrower

Just when I thought I couldn't lose any more faith in humanity.

Well, that's a in game team, he even bothered to adjust the levels

Someone doesn't know the difference between physical and special moves
Also, or the Avalugg had -Spe nature or the Zapdos was invested on speed, is that a thing? I thought only defensive zapdos were good

Avalugg is so slow that the speed boosts wouldn't make a difference (even if Avalugg's speed had a non-hindering nature and full IVs, it wouldn't be enough to outrun Zapdos even at x4).

No switching? What kind of shitty rule is that?!?
