what is the base power of pursuit if the opponent switches and if they dont switch?

40 Base Power if the Target does not switch (with STAB=60 base).

80 Base Power if the Target does switch (with STAB=120 base).

Chech the "Move Descriptions" Thread in the analysis subforum for more info.

if you are behind a sub, does that protect you from weather damage such as sandstorm/hail?

No.

Is that all it does? From the descriptions I've read, I was under the impression that it would cancel all abilities, including things like Pure Power and Steadfast.

Nope, it just disables abilities that lower your damage. If an ability can both raise and lower damage (Dry Skin with Water vs. Fire moves), the entire trait is still disabled, so if your Mold Breaker Pokemon uses Fire Blast on a Parasect, it will do less damage than usual. In 2v2, this disabling only occurs for the Mold Breaker Pokemon's attacks, if your partner uses EQ it still won't hit a Levitate Pokemon.

In Generation IV, is CH rate calculated the same way as Generation III?

Not quite. High CH rate moves CH less, for instance, and Focus Energy lets you CH more.

Also, for attacks that hit multiple times, like Rock Blast, does each hit have a chance of CH?

Yes.

If I have a Poliwag with the ability: Damp, will it evolve with that ability or is there a possibility that it might change to Water Absorb?

Only Pokemon traded over from ADV can change abilities upon evolution (or if you have like Rock Head Rhydon, it will evolve into Solid Rock Rhyperior if you evolved to Rhydon in DP).

I'd say so. Naive is minus sdef, and unless you're running CM build
(even then...), most anything that attacks you WILL kill you.

Quick question.

Are the AnnivSH Pokémon (French Shiny Starters from the first three gens, plus Zigzagoon and Poochyena) the real deal? I've been watching someone on another forum distribute them swearing up, down and sideways that they are legit.

The odd part: I checked the Pokémon France website. They mention nothing about these Pokémon. The only event 'event' they mention is the Manaphy code. Serebii doesn't have them listed on their event Pokémon page either.

Any insight on this would be lovely. Thanks.
