AR code has been found to allow level 9 mews to be traded. Cloners, watch out.

This will make the first pokemon in your party a GTS tradeable Mew that can bypass the "Level 9 or under Rule".

These become untradable over the GTS once put into the PC so keep it in your party until you trade it over the GTS.

This is just a quick warning to all cloners. I have removed the codes and links to stop people who might abuse this. It has been proven to work. What effects do you think this might have on people who might not know about this?
 
But the point of people requesting level 9 and under mews is that they normally can't be traded no matter what. It was good for putting up so people could clone without losing their pokemon.

Why would you want a hacked pokemon cloned? Couldn't you just get the same poke again? Besides that, we don't like sharked bullshit on smogon. Also, usially we don't clone through that GTS glitch.
 
No, people are making these Mews to trade for legit pokemon that people are trying to clone. And you can't speak for everyone when you say no one uses the GTS Glitch.
 
I have seen a level 5 shiny mew on GTS btw...
But yeah, with one of those Mews, you could get anything you wanted.
 
mantyke, you totaly missed the point.
many people trade for lvl 9 under mews using the glitch because they are impossible to trade on the gts, but now someone found a way to steal the pokemon you are cloning.
i usualy use some worthless pokemon on lvl 100 when cloning via the glitch, like a lvl 100 croagrunk or something.

oh... Damn, I feel stupid now. I guess (for the small percent of us who don't hire a cloner and get the pokemon back in under 5) we'll have to trade for lv9 arceuses instead.
 
I asked on the board where I found this, and they said you can't even request Darkrai, Shaymin, or Arceus, but I've never tried to. Can anyone confirm that it's impossible or that there are other requestable, but no trading pokemon?
 
I don't know what you mean about "hiring" a cloner...I was under the impression that most everyone here cloned rampantly using whatever means were available, and from the AR thread, apparently a lot of people have AR and/or no objection to using it.
 
Seconding Jibaku.

Maybe the Smogon hackers might distribute 0/0/0/0/0/0 Gentle Arceuses, just for the sake of letting anyone do the GTS glitch without fear...?
 
Just ask for Mewtwo, or Palkia, or Dialgia, or any other legendary lvl. 9 and under. Just because >9 Mew's are tradable, doesn't mean that cloning is no longer safe. It's just no longer safe for the un-informed.
 
I always use Darkrai, since it's name is always on top of the DEF list so it's quick to select, while Arceus you have to scroll down a bit each time.
 
i used palkia or darkrai when i didn't have a mew.

then saw a lv. 5 mew being offered, now sticking to using darkrai.

Or how about you take your god dammed cloning elsewhere.

Two things;
1) GTS is actually not that bad anymore, half of the offers I've seen recently are actually fair and going on GTS isn't a waste of time anymore, the only problem that stands out in my mind is the littering of Lv9 Mew requests.

2) If you are a cloner, buy an flash cart and be done with it. Seriously with the amount of time you save on cloning you could work an extra shift and it would pay for itself. Cloning seems to be a lengthy process and the copy/paste functionality of Pokesav really cannot be beaten, and considering the outcome of either method is identical, don't give me any crap about one method being legit and one not.

why the FEMALE garchomp?

anyways, its not that hard to get a level 9 mew. I could make one that looked perfectly legit in under a minute (not that i have...) i just dont know if i would fail a hack test or something like that... (i dont have Wi-Fi)

Rrriiight... God forbid someone might abuse the codes! Someone abusing the GTS glitch might be very upset. :/
