Aww, so sad to hear Cloyster may not be a good idea to incorporate. I love its appearance :) Would wish/sub/baton pass vaporeon supplement the team? I'd still need some sort of healer cause getting annihiliated by thunder wave or willowisp is such a downer.
I'm okay with defense and walls, I use to love dusclops in 3rd gen and utilized it in all my teams, but my favorites are indeed mostly offensive pokes. Shame Dusknoir ended up such a disappointment, it looks cool.
Looks are important to me, as silly as it sounds :)
Dual screens is something I really liked in the past, but didn't the introduction of defog move ruin its viability ? I already plan upon stealth rock, adding two more turns of setting up protections = 3 turns to be screwed by a single turn of a defog user, ergo 2 free moves for the opponent :(
So far I'm absolutely settled on using Metagross, as it's my favorite pokemon ever. If I had to let Cloyster go, that would be sad, but oh well :(
Usually when trying to plan a team I end up regretting there aren't 8 pokemon slots instead of 6..
