It's niche on baton pass teams which are still decently viable.What set exactly is it that keeps Espeon ranked in the Viability Thread?
What exact set, and how is Baton Pass still viable on it if it can't really pass stat boosts given to it by other 'mon?It's niche on baton pass teams which are still decently viable.

You want as much power as possible, so Hydro Pump is much better than Scald, and Yawn is pretty passive unto itself and is almost useless in front of offensive threats.Was looking at Kingdra sets, on the set, for the CritDra, set, instead of using Hydro Pump and Agility/HP Fire, would using both Yawn and Scald, have any disadvantages?
In all honesty, it's really not that good. As you said, it takes too much set-up to be effective against the meta. There're just way too many offensive threats that can just 2HKO it because of its middling bulk and bad speed outside of rain.Actually how viable IS the Critdra set nowadays? It barely registered as being decent when it first came on-scene, and since then I always thought Kingdra's niche was on Rain Teams. Super funky set tho. I just never get time to to set up both Agility and Focus Energy, and you really want both to make it worth it :|
the problem is that almost all the reliable offensive Mega Sableye stops are megaevolutions, but since you're apparentely building your team from scratch maybe it isn't a big issue. By the way: Mega Altaria(exp with DD Heal Bell), Mega Gardevoir, Taunt/Substitute Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard Y, NP Mega Houndoom, Mega Absol, Landorus-I, Azumarill, Specs Sylveon, Serperior and Specs Keldeo are some of the hardest offensive checks to Mega Sableye.What's a good Pokemon to dump onto a hyper offense team that counters/checks M-Sableye?
I'd run Clefable, but I'm going for a lead/five breaker build.
On top of TalprOne's list, there's also Manaphy and SD Talonflame. If you need to dig a bit deeper into the niche territory, there's also Exploud and Entei.What's a good Pokemon to dump onto a hyper offense team that counters/checks M-Sableye?

I believe so long as a legal cartridge version is released in an area and can be traded, the Pokemon is considered legal to use, though it may take a day or two to update the mon's legality on Showdown even if it's already in the system.When is a Pokemon legal in OU? Hoopa was officially revealed the other day, but there's no legal way to get it. I assume there has to be a legal way to get it, but just curious.
All are immune to wisp.Alright, thanks. One more (bit easier, this one);
Are fire types immune to WoW, or is it just those with Flame Body (Heatran especially comes to mind)?
All are immune to wisp.
iirc they all got +100 BST and there was one or two that got +90.Always thought it was an ability thing, figures. Final one (really);
Which Pokemon's Mega form gives it the highest BST increase? More of a curiosity thing, but it's still be interesting to know. M-Abomasnow gets some pretty titanic boosts, but I'm sure there are bigger out there.
Mega Alakazam was the only one that got +90, and that's likely because of an error or oversight.iirc they all got +100 BST and there was one or two that got +90.
They did all get +100 BST apart from Alakazam who only got +90 for some reasoniirc they all got +100 BST and there was one or two that got +90.
Not really, because things like m-altaria, talonflame, m-pinsir, av conkeldurr, azumarill and bisharp exist. It is undeniably good once it sets up, but it struggles to do so, and even if it does set up there are many common pokemon that still beat it, so it isn't quite at the level that a pokemon of A+ should be.In terms of Fun Rankings* though, it's got to be at least A+. I mean, focus energy + spamming Draco Meteors...
