Hammer Arm hits harder because of Tough Claws and it beats Ferrothorn + Skarmory lacking Counter, something that EQ would never be able to do

And it still OHKOs Heatran after prior damage, so you don't lose out on an important KO there

Not really. Its typing and passive nature make it pretty non-threatening

It refers to a set that uses Sniper Kingdra with a Scope Lens and Focus Energy to guarantee Critical Hits after it sets up. Sounds really cool, but in practice the slow speed and mediocre bulk make it pretty sub-par

That doesn't stop it being incredibly annoying though...so, if you want to annoy the crap outta all your opponents, feel free to use CritDra; however, Kingdra's main niche in OU is as a Swift Swim Sweeper, which is a role it excels at :]
 
Hi, did anyone ever heard of a RMT which showcase Misty Terrain/Grassy Terrain/Electric Terrain? Or are they move completely useless in competitive?

This was already answered; but I'd like to mention that normal Kyurem has practically nothing over Kyurem-B and should never even be considered. The three things it has that Kyurem-B does not are Pressure (Kyub gets the much better Teravolt), Glaciate and an extra 10 points in base special attack. The previous two are useless and the latter isn't even noticeable.

Are you sure? I just checked that at level 50, 16 Spe Zapdos hits 122 Speed, which is the exact same of a 252 Spe Bisharp, again at level 50, while at level 100 it does outspeed.
Furthermore, I recall that I got once told at the Competitive Tutoring room on Showdown that Gengar should carry less HP IVs (I think it was 15?) to get minimal LO recoil (to avoid confusion, yeah at level 50 too.)...

The EVs at Lv. 50 and Lv. 100 are a bit different. For example in a lot of cases the EVs that are used to obtain an odd number at level 100 for the HP value usually end up being an even number for HP value at Lv.50. The best way to take a look is to use the damage calculator and set the appropriate levels for comparison sake. If it's in-game battle spot then you're best bet would be to go to the Battle Spot sub-forum under Competitive Discussion to find some more information.
 
I know that this question may sound dumb, but why do the Lati Duo run Roost over Recover? I understand why Flying-types run it, since they temporarily lose their Flying-type, but why do Latios and Latias specifically run it? Just because or there is some specific reason?

There's virtually no difference, beyond fewer things getting Roost + Imprison. It's a very minute and inconsequential benefit, but there's no cost to it, so why not?

Sheer paranoia of Imprison + Recover users. It shouldn't matter in the long run.

EDIT: Ninja'd by pika pal. Not entirely sure how serious Celticpride was.
 
I would just like to ask about collapsible lists in posts, y'know, ones where there's often just a pile of calcs, or the teambuilding process in an RMT, etc. For now, I've really just used quotes, but I've seen some lists that just completely disapear into a small light orange tab.

Do Mega Heracross run Adamant or Jolly? Should I run Jolly just to outspeed D-nite and Altaria, but they both run Adamant/Modest anyway...
 
Well I'm running a Mega Heracross on a rain team since I wanted to try it out. What would you suggest though?​
