Well at least 3 stats are still random, so you can't really get anything the same or close. But ya, thats what I plan on doing :D

actually, the best way to sketch explosions is face your opponents that both have damp.

how do you sketch explosion onto smeargle? it fails when the sketched pokemon is faint.

They have close to 0 in everything but speed and their respective Special stat as i recall (spdef for latias and sp atk for latios).
The ones from southern Island have better IVs.
Everything about them is set when you watch the TV after you beat the E4 and select which colour you saw.

it does not outspeed a plus natured Chomp also the 31 IV would tie with neutral base 120 pokemon

Yes it breaks subs but I think it isn't used because of accuracy.
