1. Does switching a pokemon out and killing the enemy with another pokemon give the first pokemon EVs?

For example, I encounter a Bidoof and start with Scyther. I switch out the Scyther and bring in a Turtwig and kill the Bidoof. Does the Scyther get EVs too?

I really want to make sure I have a good IV spread for a Scyther, and I want to make sure that the EVs are correct.

If it receives EXP, it will get EVs.

No, the only thing they have in common is that they allow you to take the hit before you switch out, so that the pokemon coming in remains unscathed.

I recently purchased an R4 Revolution flash card. I want to put cheats like the clone cheat and PokeSAV on it, but I have no idea how to do this. I do know I need to use the CheatEditor. If any of you can give me a step-to-step guide to add codes to my list (I already have standard codes on my R4 that come with the game) please send me a PM. :)

I tried to do this, but I horribly failed, I accidentally deleted the normal cheats and the cheats I wanted to add weren't added.

The XD exclusive moves are the moves that the pokemon knows when you catch them (actually, after you purify them). You don't have to do anything special, they just simply know them.

XD rapidash is illegal with hypnosis. Since hypnosis is an egg move and it doesn't have it when you catch it.

Oh, I guess I had misunderstood the question. AgostonF is correct, XD pokemon only get the moves they start out with, level-up moves, and move tutor moves.
