does fire punch on chari x miss out KOs compared to flare blitz??

Yes. In fact, tons of it. Off the top of my head:

unboosted - Hoopa-U, Mega Metagross, Tornadus-T, Thundurus-I, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Manectric, Mamoswine, Tangrowth, Cobalion

at +1 - Clefable, Scarf Landorus-T, SpD Gliscor, Mega Venusaur, Mandibuzz (2HKO), Hippowdon (2HKO)

Don't use Fire Punch as it's damage output is about 50% that of Flare Blitz.

Saw a lot of Rotom-W running the VGC EV spread in OU just now (They caught me off guard with their attacks hitting much harder than expected).
What was the point of that spread in OU Singles?

to duke nukem
sorry for crappy pun
but to shock the foe with crazy damage
people forget that besides being a bulky poke, rotom-w also has a decent sp ata meaning investing in offence can greatly pay off. hydro pumps and T-boilts will hit like trucks. that ev spread will also discourage any setting up by the opponent.

i have seen people try setting their chari-x on rotom-w but with vgc spread it's much harder
212+ SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard X: 99-117 (64.7 - 76.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Im trying to set up a team with Mega Tyranitar and Talonflame. Any ideas on what pokemon i should add to the team?
The most important support for that core would be a Keldeo counter and generally a good Water resist, hazard remover (Latios and Starmie combine both roles), answer to bulky grounds like Garchomp and Hippowdon (so a water type like Manaphy or Keldeo, or grass type like Serperior), possibly a lure to these Pokemon (GK Thundurus lures Hippowdon for instance), and a Steath Rock setter, though you should probably pick one amongst availible SRers later on in the teambuilding process.

I'm being dumb and not figuring out why Bulky Non-mega Scizor (a.k.a. lefties scizor, from the band set with lefties + roost to full mzor bulky set) and DD dragonite are considered straight-out bad (I get WP though). Could someone enlighten me?

Neither of those are actually bad, it's just that there exist megas which do these Pokemon's jobs significantly better. If you already have a Mega and want a dragon-type DD sweeper, or a reliable check to offensive Fairies, both of these are perfectly legitmiate options.

Alright. That's what I was thinking, but I've been hearing otherwise, that they're just bad - when I was told once I shouldn't use Lefties Scizor, I replied with asking what item would be fitting for a bulky scizor, to which I got the reply, "use a different mon". I guess people are just stubborn.

Thanks so much

does jolly chari-x miss out any ko's that adamant doesn't??
you dont really lose any 2hkos with jolly, at +1 you pretty much kill everything anyway. iirc i think quagsire lives your hits if youre jolly but thats not a big deal. Just run jolly honestly, Id rather outspeed scarfers like landorus and Kyurem than beat an uncommon mon like quag.

Where can I find information about Hoopa-U and it's current role in the meta, sets, EV spreads, etc.?
Currently the best and most easily-found resource for this is the Dex; however, most of the sets it lists for Hoopa-U are very outdated because they were made before Hoopa-U's release. In short, the sets can give you an idea of what you can do with Hoopa-U, but good lord, don't follow the movesets word-for-word.

Cough *Maybe somebody should get working on a Hoopa-U analysis* Cough

How does AM have soo many badges and I dont even have 1???

Is it a conspiracy???

Also why do people make terrible ev spreads that don't help?
That extra 24 def will help a lot more than having max speed...
