Stallbreaker Hydreigon
Hydreigon @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 220 HP / 252 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
-Dark Pulse/ Dragon Pulse
-Toxic
-Taunt
-Roost
This set works similarly to Stallbreaker Mandibuzz but has some crucial advantages over it:
Why use this? Because it shits on fat teams that don'thave a Florges and checks a million threats as wel.The dual stabs LO taunt set struggles to break Blissey so this is better and vote for me pls
- It has a much much higher offensive presence due to incredible SpA and decent STAB.
- Typing provides more resistances in Electric, Fire, Water, and Rock neutrality, making it a much better check to things like Chandy, Suicune, Entei, Heliolisk, Rotoms, etc
- Higher speed to fuck stuff like Hoopa (speed EVs in fact creep Timid Hoopa)
Hey man just a quick suggestion - your current EV spread of 220 HP / 252 SpA / 32+ Spe gives you stats of 380HP, 349 SpA and 264 Spe. If you go Modest instead of Timid with a spread of 220 HP / 160+ SpA / 128 Spe you get stats of 380 HP, 358 SpA and 264 Spe, because your plus nature is hitting your base 125 SpA instead of your base 98 Spe. Just a way for you to squeeze out some more power!

Hyrdeigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 136 Atk / 120 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Iron Tail
- Fire Blast / Superpower
- Work Up
Scarf Hydreigon with Dark Pulse isn't the only Hydreigon set that has a hope of sweeping. This set breaks past normal checks, primarily Florges, and aims to sweep beyond them as far as it is able. Florges is normally a full-stop to Hydreigon unless you are using Specs Flash Cannon - with this set you don't have to perfectly predict the Florges switch in, Florges can't simply switch out after taking 60% from the first Flash Cannon, and you aren't locked into a weak 80 BP non-STAB attack. Simply Work Up on the switch to get +1 Atk and SpA, and take it from there. Once fairies are out the picture, you have your lovely unresisted coverage between Dragon Pulse and Fire Blast / Superpower. Some calcs:
Against Florges, the main target:
+1 136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 232 Def Florges: 341-403 (94.7 - 111.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Florges: 304-359 (84.4 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes
-- To absolutely ensure even the physically bulkiest Florges goes down to Iron Tail you will want Spikes support, but it's far easier to use a random Knock Off user to get that basic amount of damage onto it first.
Fire Blast calcs:
120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Cobalion: 361-426 (111.4 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 240 HP / 16 SpD Eviolite Doublade: 315-372 (98.7 - 116.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Filter Mega Aggron: 322-380 (93.6 - 110.4%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Empoleon: 147-174 (39.5 - 46.7%) -- 34.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock, 1 layer of Spikes, and Leftovers recovery
120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Whimsicott: 346-408 (107.1 - 126.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
--If they have a Whimsicott, don't use Work Up - go straight for the kill with Fire Blast.
136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Iron Tail vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Whimsicott: 252-299 (96.5 - 114.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
-- Fire Blast is necessary for guaranteed OHKO on bulky Whimsicott, but Pixie Plate variants go down straight to unboosted Iron Tail on the switch in.
Superpower calcs:
+1 136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 720-850 (100.8 - 119%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Superpower vs. 144 HP / 188 Def Snorlax: 442-520 (88.9 - 104.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 136 Atk Life Orb Hydreigon Superpower vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Empoleon: 442-523 (118.8 - 140.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Other notable calcs:
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Dragon Pulse vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 212-251 (52.4 - 62.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Dragon Pulse vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Swampert: 261-308 (65 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
And.... If you really like explosions:
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Swampert: 398-469 (99.2 - 116.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 120 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 324-382 (80.1 - 94.5%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
Hey Guys! LittleRunnerXC Here bringing you a pretty cool Hydreigon set. And that is TAILWIND HYDREIGON!

HydreiGONE (Hydreigon) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tailwind
- Earth Power/ Fire Blast
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
This Hydreigon can bluff a lot of things, and then set up tailwind and become a very scary threat. It is not being outsped by anything, and can proceed to deal massive damage, with very good dual stab, and earthpower as well. Life Orb makes it hit even harder. This makes Hydreigon outspeed a lot of common threats, like Whimsicott. If you want to counter Whimsicott, I recommend running Fire Blast over Earth Power. Hydreigon can outspeed other threats, like choice scarf mons like Mienshao, SuperPower Crook, and even dazzling gleam shaymin. Tailwind also provides good support for set up sweepers and bulky powerful attackers.
Just wanted to share this cool set! I hope you like it and MAYBE Try it out! =)

Charge Beam Hydreigon![]()
Hydreigon Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature
EVS: 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 HP
- Dragon Pulse / Substitute / Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Charge Beam
- Roost
Now, what this set does is use Hydreigon's typing against bulky water types and attempt to set up with Charge Beam. Thanks to realiable recovery in Roost, this set is usable! While Charge Beam doesn't exactly do damage at first, once you get some boosts up, Hydreigon becomes a super-big threat with it's 125 special attack, capable of sweeping late-game. While Charge Beam can be hard to set up with, the rewards it reaps are tremendous! Check these calcs out to see why!
252 SpA Hydreigon Charge Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 96-114 (23.7 - 28.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 SpA Hydreigon Charge Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 142-168 (35.1 - 41.5%) -- 77% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+3 252 SpA Hydreigon Charge Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 236-278 (58.4 - 68.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 252 SpA Hydreigon Charge Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 376-444 (93 - 109.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Now with some Charge Beam boosts, let's see how Hydreigon does with it's STABS against other pokemon: (I will be going with +4)
+4 252 SpA Hydreigon Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Zapdos: 441-519 (137.3 - 161.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+4 252 SpA Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Swampert: 349-412 (102.3 - 120.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+4 252 SpA Hydreigon Dragon Pulse vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 462-544 (114.6 - 134.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+4 252 SpA Hydreigon Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 36 SpD Feraligatr: 453-534 (145.6 - 171.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Basically, with some boosts, Hydreigon destroys EVERYTHING. Except for Fairies and Steels (Unless you use Fire Blast for Steels)
Overall, this set, while not perfect, can become a wrecking ball in a second if used right! I hope you like it!

k youre free to voteHydreigon @ White Herb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Superpower
- Iron Tail
Draco Meteor, while strong, has the unfortunate effect of only being able to be used once before forcing a switch (Superpower has the same issue). With the White Herb, the stat drops dissipate, making Hydreigon able to pick up the KO on mons (in the S-B- ranks in the viability rankings) like Suicine, Swampert (Mega), Empoleon, Snorlax, Zapdos, Blastoise (Mega), Crobat, Mandibuzz, Chesnaught, Gligar, Roserade, Tentacruel, Alomomola, Seismatoad, Camerupt (Mega), Pangoro, Amoongus, and Blissey with the appropriate moves. Hydreigon's EVs can even be altered to pick up the KO on others like Umbreon. Dark Pulse for obligatory stab, and Iron Tail for fairies. While White Herb can only be used once, it forces your opponent to either switch and lose momentum, or let their mon drop, which is often worth the one-time use.
