I would have to say Heatran and Bronzong. Bronzong makes up for a huge ground weakness, and heatran soaks up bronzong's one main weakness, fire. Which two pokemon do you think work the best together?

Personally I like forretress and dugtrio together

Er, you should think about that. Do you really want Dugtrio switching in on Fire Blast? And think about the common users of Fire attacks. Most of them aren't fire types, they're physical attackers who want to take care of Skarmory.
That really can be said about any Pokemon.
Gyarados and Magnezone, both for type support reasons (Rock and Electric Gyara hates are covered by Maggie), and the fact that Maggie can remove Skarm and Forry.
I think he means Forrey causes switches to Pokemon with a fire move. He switches to Dug at the same time, thus trapping them. And if they are a STAB user, then they are fucked.
I understand what you mean in the latter part of the statement, though. And you're probably right.

Tyranitar/Hippowdon and Rhyperior. Obvious, really.
In 3v3 (or Battle Tower from personal experience), I've used Staraptor and Azelf well. Theoretically, this could work for any strong, fast U-Turner, but I like Staraptor. CB U-Turn on the first move, hopefully an OHKO, bring in Azelf. If it wasn't an OHKO, do the same anyway and let Azelf finish it off. Explode on the second Pokémon (if it is a Normal resist, obviously don't), then send in Staraptor again for a CB Brave Bird/Return/Close Combat on the last Pokémon. Improvisation will have to be made in certain situations, such as when a Normal resist comes in on Azelf, but it works pretty well.

Growthtran works pretty well. Gyaravire doesn't anymore though, as I rarely TBolt Gyara leads anymore. Agreeing with Skarm on the Sceptile/Raikou comment.
I've never liked that combo either as both Pokémon are countered by the same things.
Skarmory+Blissey. Everybody knows about this.

I enjoy the 3rd the best, because the second one I am too impatient too pull off and the 1st can be boring as hell sometimes.

A two Pokemon combo with a double Water weak? How would that work? Suicune and Swampert in particular laugh at that combo.
I was thinking Vaporeon and Ludicolo as a pretty good surf/stall pairup (in doubles of course.)
Starmie and Breloom works perfect with me.
Shame that combo doesn't like Bug/Flying much!
