Pokerus essentially acts as a boost in terms of the number of EVs gained. For example, if your Charizard defeats a wild Gardevoir without Pokerus (again, I'm pretty sure you can't find wild Gardevoir, just saying), then it will recieve 3 SpA EVs. If under the effect of Pokerus, the number of EVs it gains doubles AFTER the effects of Macho Brace and Power Items.
For example:
If Pokerus and no item held: gain 6 SpA EVs
If Pokerus and Macho Brace: gain 3*2 (Macho Brace) *2 (Pokerus) = 12 SpA EVs
If Pokerus and Power Lens: gain (3+4)*2 = 14 SpA EVs
If Pokerus and Power Anklet (for Speed): (3 SpA + 4 Spe)*2 = 6 SpA EVs and 8 Spe EVs
So it dramatically increases the rate at which you can EV train. With hordes, one Pokemon can be fully EV trained in an hour, tops.

edit: seems I was a bit off. If the Pokemon is not kept in your PC and is left in your party for 1 day (iirc), it will lose the ability to spread Pokerus and have a smiley face icon instead of the purple box thingy that shows up when the virus is still active. If it's not showing up, maybe (if from another user) it's hacked? Idk

You probably had a hacked strain of Pokerus, 0.x turns into 0.0 (default uninfected state) when it stops being infectious. It doesn't matter much but you should be able to get rid of it by taking infected mons out of the box > set 3ds time to 23.59 > waiting for date to roll over > save > repeat until gone.

Less 1 day, more when it passes midnight on the in-game clock.
 
I had the same problem with Pokerus a few months ago, probably picked it up from Wondertrade. If you need a new strain, I can send you a new infected Pokemon when I get off work later tonight.
 
Does anyone has a shiny, Adamant Blaziken (or either Torchic or Combusken) with speed boost? I can offer other shinies (breed by me, hatched by other people) and a couple of Legends. I´m also looking for a competitive impish gligar/gliscor (preferably in a ball that matches it) and a female slowpoke with HA in a Dream ball (any ivs and nature works).

If you can trade that flawless shiny Jolly ditto, I'll knock out as many of the non HA ones you listed as I can over the next few days. I'm bored and need the practice lol.

Edit: Also saw you want an EV trainer. I'm your guy for that too.

LF: HA Duskull or its evos preferably with a Relaxed nature and a HA Timburr or its evos preferably with a Brave nature but both are fine if the nature isn't exact. IVs don't matter either unless you want to go out of your way, thanks. :3

If you're still looking I can catch you a HA Dusclops from the friend safari for free. Not sure if I have a Relaxed synch so no guarantees on the nature :P. PM/VM me if you're interested/still need help (and would like to specify a ball).
 
I think I already have the answer to this question but if I use Quick Guard against a Prankster Imprison does Quick Guard block Imprison? I presume Quick Guard does block Prankster Imprison but I am not 100% sure.

While, I am at it I will just re-post this:

While I do prefer SR's, I know I am going to get more RNG legends with what I am offering. But I've seen decent interest in my trading thread, because I've obtained 3 SR's and 16 RNG'd Legends with HP breedables.

This is not including 5th gen Legends I've been asking for in the last 5 pages, which I've got a few responses for:

Someone offered to SR me a Naughty Zekrom

Another is trading me SR'd Jolly Terrakion and Timid Virizion for 3:1

Another gave me an RNG'd Jolly Cobalion for lending him a breeding parent

Another is offering me RNG'd Timid Reshriam + Meloetta for trading him parents for Time Machine Method

(Edit: Now I'm getting offers of Naive + Mild Kyurem and Adamant Zekrom, you guys are awesome)


And the offers in my thread range from 1:1 to 4:1, or low% females, or TSV requests for Legends.

I will say I should look more into others trade threads for legends, that's something I rarely do. Though in the past I was discouraged by threads that were basically legends for legends. This is hard for me especially since I do not RNG and do not have the time or patience to SR anymore (more power to those that do). I also have a personal thing against trading other people's pokemon even if they are full redistribution as a way to get legends (not against others doing it). I wanna obtain pokes through my work, not infinitely producing free trade value from cloning other people's legends. It was kinda of the reason for the creation of my thread. I knew I would not be able to compete with established traders that had legends and shinies out the wazoo. I also did not want be just another common breedables thread. So I focused on a niche market, and its worked (over 130 trades in my thread). Only recently have I focused on getting Legends cause I'm running out non-Legend pokemon to want....but that happens after over a year of trading here. ;p

It was commented earlier about getting some Kyurems I want from Theorymon's giveaway (already requested Adamant Groudon). But because of his Uncle's admission to to the ER last week he hasn't been active in the thread, and I do not want ask for more since he's +30 requests behind as is.

I'm late to the whole shabbam but if it's not hard I wanted to say something. Thomaz has a nifty little spreadsheet with all the legendaries you need. You should never feel discouraged to trade with others. It never hurts to ask and you know when it boils down to this these are inanimate objects. That's why I started to focus on my giveaways more than my trade thread. I can understand if you were trading cards or buying something (yeah I know I don't have a life) but I'm certain someone will help you. This being said I know for a fact that list was longer. I have a few decent soft resets myself that I would be willing to give you to help out. I'm mainly after spitbacks with good egg moves. Message me if your interested thanks.
