well , the evidence is good, i like all your research, i salute you for the effort...
if nintendo is planning this remakes, and part of the evidence points that nintendo is hinting us to think that this remakes r a possibles, well im welcome the idea...
also if nintendo is loyal to the way they release pokemon games, we now enjoy diamond and pearl, the same way we did with ruby and saphire, so prolly we gonna get, maybe 3/4 2007 or 1/4 2008 the surprise return to johto, as the same fashion we recive fr/lg remakes...and then prolly we will have pokemon opal as the same way we got emerald...
so you know noone can take away from us the right to dream about it...
keep fingers cross
Regarding Gold/Silver Remake theory.
Question: Does Nintendo still want to milk the pokemon franchise?
Answer: Yes.
Is it easier to recycle pokemon and places you already have coding for than to creat 100 new pieces of code from scratch?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Do Nintendo fanboys like Nostalgia?
Answer: Yes.
I think its pretty clear.
quoting similarities between two things is NOT empirical evidence for anything ever. It is often coincidence. Saying two cities are similar or the addition of two eevee evolutions in two different gens is quite simply faulty evidence.
The hard references in the game, such as Jasmine mentioning her hometown or Johto being a programmed location is the evidence we have.
Sorry man, didn't mean to be so cold; I tried to end on a positive note just to avoid that. I respect that you did this, I really do. I'd love to see you guys compile a version of just hard evidence for us as well. Just was trying to point out the flaws I mentioned (of which the town comparison and the eevee thing were just examples to alert you that your thinking was infact flawed).
Hope you make the video featuring the hard evidence.
Gold, Silver and Crystal are arguably the best games in the series, due to the sheer amount of land to explore and the length of the storyline (if you can call it that).
Competitive battling has made a massive move since then, and a remake incorporating the current metagame would quite literally be heaven on earth.
=\ I don't see how Nintendo putting references in D/P means a G/S/C remake. Really, you're taking some nostalgia Nintendo put in this game and thinking it means something bigger.
And even if they did remake G/S/C, which they probably wont, hopefully it'll just be a single game remake, instead of another FR/LG.
...or it could just be the only way that you obtain that item in the game.OMG! I just realized that the woman who lost her hotel key gives you a Lava Cookie, which is from Lavaridge Town! This means that they MUST have a R/S/E remake in the works! It just has to be true!
We are most warranted in this suspicion as Red and Blue were remade for the Advance Generation.
That was because there was no other way to get all 150 original Pokemon since R/S/E was not compatible with R/B/Y or G/S/C. Now they're all accessible.
now this has me thinking yet again what if nintendo just wanted to piss off all the older players?
