NEW POKEMON GRUBBIN http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/pokemon/grubbin/

Grubbin relies on its sturdy jaw as a weapon in battle and as a tool for burrowing through the earth. Grubbin loves electricity, which is why it can be found near power plants and substations. By wrapping tree branches in the sticky threads that it spews from its mouth, Grubbin can swing around like an actor on suspension wires!

Bug-type with the ability Swarm.

If it does not turn Bug/Electric I'd be shocked.

(Pun intended)

Steakout causes the user to deal double damage to anything switching.

Please get Pursuit.

It rather seems like Pursuit would be a bad choice based on the pokemon website:

Some Yungoos have an Ability that no other Pokémon discovered has previously had. This Ability is known as Stakeout. With the Stakeout Ability, this Pokémon’s moves can deal twice the normal damage to any Pokémon that switch in or enter the field mid-battle.

The official website mentions that Yungoos isn't native to Alola, but was introduced to control the population of some other Pokémon. From the look of it, it's based on the small Asian mongoose (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_Asian_mongoose), which was introduced to Hawaii in the late 19th century to control rats.

Presumably, then, there's either a new rat Pokémon, or (less excitingly) we can find Rattata and the like in Alola somewhere.

Pursuit on every move? Yes please.

Level 5 Rowlet has 23 HP? That's a lot...
This means that, without any EV investment (which is most probably the case), Rowlet's minimum base HP is between 65 (with a HP IV of 31) and 80 (with a HP IV of 0), which is indeed a lot for a first member of an evolutionary chain. Its final evo might have 100+ base HP after all.

Reverse Pursuit eh? This will be great to annoy those jerks that like switching every turn. I actually hope this one is slow since then we can punish Baton Pass/U-Turn/Volt Tackle use better.

Tapu Koko is really interesting and the name actually reveals a lot. Both Tapu and Koko are words in Maori.

tapu

kōkō

My personal prediction? Each island has a protector representative of Wind / Water / Fire / Earth. Each of these "deities" was sealed away long ago. These four Pokémon represent this regions "trio" (except four...). The "Tapu was used as a way to control how people behaved towards each other and the environment, placing restrictions upon society to ensure that society flourished." part also seems very reminiscent of Zygarde...

Maybe this is what each of those Battle Circles are about? One for each diety?! There is the starter one (Earth), the one in the Sea (Water), the one in the forest could be Wind and then the one near the Volcano for Fire? IDK, grasping at straws, but very interesting picks nonetheless.

Pretty impressed with how smooth the game was running too, much better than XY or ORAS. Looked good, but I assume this was from the likely Demo we will have as the main building shown at the start matches the larger building near the beach.

its a snek

No, it's reversed Pursuit. More like Payback.
Too early to tell for sure. The ability description says moves (plural), and as far as I know Pursuit is the only move that has the effect of damaging switched pokemon. So either it does get the pursuit effect to every move, or the moves plural is just referring to things like switch ins from u-turn/volt switch/etc

The point is that it's a reversed Pursuit in that it does not hit things that switch out, but rather things that switch in.

That being said, it's a great trapper in that aspect.
