It kind of depends on what you enjoy most in the game. What I personally enjoy is catching, and I don't really care about battling. Maybe I will when PvP gets released, but up until then I don't care. I do have some Revives and Max Potions lying around just in case I want to battle, but not much. The rest is just Razz Berries (around 20) and Poke/Great/Ultra Balls. Therefore I won't really need a bag upgrade. From my own perspective I'd rather get a storage upgrade, since I always end up with 70+ Pidgey for a Lucky Egg evolve session. But if you really enjoy both the battling and the catching aspect, you should get a bag upgrade. Maybe just spend $10 once. I mean, what is 10 bucks if you end up having a lot of fun from it? I haven't spent a dime on this game yet, but I'm thinking about just doing it.You actually get more gym prestige for knocking out a pokemon with higher CP than yours when facing your own team's gym. You get 100 points for knocking out a pokemon, but you get 500 points if it has higher CP than yours. So typically you'll get like 540-ish from beating 1 pokemon, which is pretty nice imo. Only problem is that you'll drain your potions quickly.
Just got 68,500 from a lucky egg with only 1 mon being new (my Tentacruel that's 14 Atk-11 Def-14 Stamina with Poison Jab and Hydro Pump) :D
So I had to think this over like 20 times, but basically I had 220 coins and wasn't sure whether to go for the bag upgrade or just go for a lucky egg. I decided to get a lucky egg for now and maybe get the bag upgrade later, since most of the time I'm really only using Potions, Pokeballs and occasionally a berry. So I wanted to ask y'all how helpful is the bag upgrade, cause atm I feel like I could probably manage without one, but depending on what y'all say, I might actually go for it (sitting at 140 coins atm).
So
Theory time!
This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while now, but the whole team thing is pretty new in Pokemon. That is to say, we being the player selecting which team to be in (aside from maybe mystery dungeon but I digress), but TEAMS aren’t new to Pokemon though usually we the player are fighting teams….
Which teams? Well - Team Rocket for starters, Aqua, Magma, Galactic, Plasma, and Flare
What have we done starting at LV 5? SELECT WHICH TEAM WE WANT TO BE IN
my crazed speculated point?
INSTINCT MYSTIC AND VALOR are organizations and W E are the grunts
(But I could totally be wrong of course, but it would be a cool turn of events )
Thoughts? Discuss! : D
Man, I feel you. I had this with a Snorlax earlier this week. Made me so freaking depressed.View attachment 67329
When you see a Chansey but couldn't find it even after running around like crazy
Oh, okay, sorry. my badWe already have a Pokémon Go thread, and I think this discussion could be taken there. I'm merging the two.
Same hereI still have the same problem as yesterday. Nearby list goes blank for a little while and I can't get my Pokestops or battle gyms at that time.
Anyone else?
Phew, I thought it was just me or my device. I've tried reopening, relogging and even reinstalling, but nothing works. I planned to go on a PoGo trip with my friend this Thursday and Friday, but I don't think it will be fixed by then. Let's just hope :/Same here

I often find that happens when its struggling for a signal, turn off your wifi when on PoGo as i think the random atempts to connect to local signals interupt your phones network connection and as such your PoGo connectionSame here
I'll try right now, thanks for the tip.I often find that happens when its struggling for a signal, turn off your wifi when on PoGo as i think the random atempts to connect to local signals interupt your phones network connection and as such your PoGo connection
I remember reading that there are Pokemon that works the best efficiency in training gyms. So long, I most often train gyms with Vaporeon and gain quite great amount of prestige per session, and when I read that, Vaporeon ranks 4th for the best efficiency in training. Something with high CP but can't stay for long such as Gyarados doesn't help very much while bulky Pokemon like Laplace and Vaporeon do very well. I remember Parasect is also among top 5 for training IIRC.You actually get more gym prestige for knocking out a pokemon with higher CP than yours when facing your own team's gym. I'm guessing it a signal thing. I live in a studio apartment, and it's very buggy when it comes down to the aforementioned stuff. Both on Wi-Fi and 4G. When I go outside though, there's no problem anymore. Just experienced that. The weird thing is that three days ago, everything was working fine. Zero problems, both on my device and my friend's device. And now all of a sudden it's very buggy on mine, and not on hers. She is still able to spin the reachable Pokestop from my home, and I'm not because either it doesn't show or it won't load. Same for catching mons; she can see them on the radar, map, and is able to catch them. I can't see them on radar/map at all 9/10 times.its a signal thing when I have had it
I just restart the game when signal is restored.
people also say its a softban, but i don't believe that
It's probably Niantic's servers too. We've been playing from my studio apartment for an hour straight now without any problem. Love these people outside putting lures in the Pokestop I can reach from here. Weird stuff anyway.I left mine open and it bugged out because it didn't refresh anything. that could be another thing, things change, like gyms, spawns, on your screen it doesn't it becomes glitchy.
I have never used any third party stuff except for the IV checker on silphroad, so can't be that.If you used an IV checker that logs in using your account or something of the like its very likely you were softbanned. Ive heard they last only 24 hours tho.
Today I spoke to a girl in the park, who happened to hatch an egg while we were talking. An Aerodactyl hatched from it, and she was disappointed because she already had 4 and she 'just wanted a Pikachu' -.-'Just out of curiosity, who here has an aerodactyl? And does anyone else have a rattata infestation in their house?
The first pokemon I hatched was a pikachu in a 2km egg. What winds me up is people I know who don't even like pokemon, who are just playing pokemon go because it's trending, then finding a wild gyarados or something like that.Today I spoke to a girl in the park, who happened to hatch an egg while we were talking. I have never seen one, and I also never get 10km eggs so.. yeah. Aero is among the few mons without an evolution I still need.
