In the first video vikavolt uses a move that has the animation of a hammer made out of strings correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there is a move that uses that kind of animation. Is that gonna be the new bug type hammer move?

I came here to post the video, got ninja'd.

Did anyone else notice Popplio using what appears to be Aqua Jet? Not sure if we already knew it got that, but STAB priority is always fun. I doubt the final evo will be physically based, but this is still cool.
I noticed this too, and even if it isn't physically based it could be something that may find its way onto a set or two.

Is there a chance that that move is the Bug-Type Z-Move?
I doubt it. The same video showed us the new Psychic type z-move and some of the others we already know about together so it makes no sense to show the bug type z-move separately. Also every z-move we've seen so far was done after we saw the trainer doing the Z-dance which was not the case for the move vikavolt used.

Also the same trailer showed crabrawler using the z-move that lucario used in an earlier trailer. And I remember Beware using a z-move too so I think it's safe to say that Beware gets an exclusive z-move

I thought the same , but this one lacked hints of being a z move , the only one that was confirmed fully was Oricorio one.

I mean it looks badass enough to be a z move but I honestly font want to jump the MegaPedo just yet.

Hello, first timer here. I was wondering if someone could post the range HP stats for the starter Pokemon?

A nice little summary of stuff in the game plus Oricorio using a z move we haven't seen.

Mudsdale and Lapras confirmed for pokerides in the other two mini videos for Male and Female narrator. Male showed overworld stuff, Female focused more on customization and refresh with more Brione imagery.

Male Video.

Female Video.

The 2d into 3d video was corny cute but shows that they really are going sell out with their marketing.
Psychic Z move is called Maximum Psy Breaker in Japanese.
Dragon Z move is called Ultimate Dragon Bang
But likely to be changed in English.
How Water Z move is called Super Aqua Tornado in Japanese, but something completely different in English.

Considering the English translators are willing to be a little silly with the Z-Move names, I want the Psychic one to be called "Mind Crush" and the Dragon one to be called "Burninator". Because pulverizing pancakes.

Hyper sprint attack its better than the neck thingy we got for the normal z move.

Throwing "hyper" in front of "attack" doesn't exactly get he adrenaline pumping.

They didn't get silly, they just seem to like rhymes and alliteration which is when words all start with the same letter. Breakneck Blitz. Pulverizing Pancake. Doom Bloom (rhyme no alliteration). Etc

Happy first day GonFreaks and if you want to get HP calculations for starters and other stuff I suggest you go back a couple pages to get some.

Guys, you can now pre-load Sun and Moon if you have a JP, NA, or AUS 3DS!
Welp. Now the question is whether we'll be able to survive the massive amount of spoilers that are bound to come with it, if someone does manage to crack the serial code, or not.

Btw, for those who are still unaware and might want to download it from the eshop: you'll need well over 23k blocks in your SD card; roughly 3gb like it was previously predicted.

Sadly the "early unlock for preloaders" card got played with Paper Mario Color Splash. There's no way they'd make that mistake with this game.

Honestly I was just thinking it would be really cool for all stat calculations to be compiled, then either added to the OP or made into a new thread. It would save them from being constantly reposted and asked for in cycles. Someone mentioned Wishiwashi's base SpA being 147 or more and I'd like to see a source for that calculation as well.

I think people are using the trailer with Wishiwashi using HPump on Magnezone beginning at 1:24 (
).

We don't really have EV, IV and nature so we can't know the real base but simple testing with the damage calculator from showdown indicates that its SpA is, indeed, high.

I would gladly add all the stat calcs etc to one of the front page posts if someone did collate them. It would be interesting to see how close we actually are to the games themselves when they come out.
I recall someone doing a bunch of calcs in the mark 2 thread, and i have it open at home (somewhere around page 170 iirc). I can go through that and try to compare those with the ones in this thread during my lunch break unless someone else wants to before then.

A positive natured max spA EVs,IVs base 150 spA hydro does a max 96% to uninvested HP/spD magnezone with a negative nature. This almost certainly isn't the
case(no way wishiwashi is having perfect IVS and EVS),so it would have >150 spA

Why not? It's a trailer of a new Pokemon, so they'd like to overhype the Pokemon. It's quite likely that Wishiwashi has a maxed Special Attack stat and Magnezone has minimum defenses.

I guess it's at least around base 130 (~95% max damage to a Level 31 Magnezone with minimum defenses while Wishiwashi has maximum Special Attack).
