Unless he was a crazy psycho and EV'd his Weavile like a special wall. (Still wouldn't take 3 hits I bet xD)

Anyways, I was just thinking about something and needed some clarification:

Will-O-Wisp halves the attack stat of the opponent.
Charm lowers the opponent's attack 2 stages.

Aren't these two attacks essentially the same, save for the fact that Burn lasts after switching and does damage, and that Charm can be used to lower the stat further and has reliable accuracy?

I just need some clarification on this. Thanks.

yes but charm dont active guts now does it :)
and yes charm will lower there damage from 50%(burned) to 33% (burned and charmed)

If I have Pokerus and Macho Brace, how do the calculations work?

Example..

Gible beats Luxray (2atk)
Gible has PKRS and is wearing the Macho Brace.
Gible gets.. 8 ev's? Or.. 4? Or 6?

Another example:
Gible beats Sneasel (2spd)
Gible has PKRS and Macho Brace.
Gible gets how many Spd EV's?
Also, Dratini has PKRS and an Exp. Share.. how many does she get?

Last one: if Dratini (in the situation 2) was in the battle, switched out to Gible, and Gible defeated the Sneasel, would Dratini get more EV's since it was involved in the battle even w/ EXP share? Or just more EXP.?

If that got confusing, reply and I'll try to rephrase. Don't wanna screw up my Ev's!
 
You don't get the EVs you'd get after KOing a pokemon if you explode, do you? Need a quick answer, the stupid dude caught me trying to sneak past him with a poger that gives me EVs I don't want >_<
 
Query:

If I catch (x Nature) Synchronizer in Ruby, then PalPark over to D/P, will Synchroze activate and work as usual?

Or do I have to PalPark over from Emerald to get the Synchronization?

What should I be looking for, as far as something REASONABLE yet MARKETABLE? (IV's and nature, since it's a simple question)

EDIT: okay, I'm going for modest with high Sp atk + speed. Is this good?
 
Was the lucky egg trick in breeding real? If so, what is it?

How many speed boosts or agilities would a marowak need to outspeed its major threats? Is it even possible?
 
Serious questions. I need help.

Why is that my Weavle (brave) with a speed of 178 (lv. 65) never goes first against Sudowoodo (lv 56 I think) , Drapion (lv. 57) and some other slower Pokemon? Hell, my Poliwrath has a slower speed statistic and still makes the first move. Is there an "x-factor" I'm missing cuz I thought speed determines who moves first?

Does it have Iron Ball/Lagging Tail attached to it? Because yes speed is what determines who goes first.
 
it seems to me your not ev training your weavile so it will be alot slower that it can and its nature has alot to do it it condiser the following:

with a brave nature (+atk -speed) you can only get a max of 314 speed if you ev train in speed.

also if you got adament (+atk -Satk) you can get a max of 349 speed if you invest wisely

if you get jolly (+speed -satk0 you can get a max of 383 speed is ther highest you can get

most people here on smogon get a jolly nature (and ev train) to outrun most things in todays metagame.

you should hurry up and set up a trade thread(lol, seriously). Anyways I would go for something like this:

Bold: 31/xx/31/20+/31/20+

this will take you a while though so good luck :D


EDIT:

1)Which is better Brave Bird or Drill Peck on Skarmory?

2) When you breed a pokemon and trade the Egg off and hatch it does it keep any info on where it first came from or not?

3)When a bred shiny is checked on pac will it pass? Since pac uses the shiny formula for pokeradar'd pokemon doesn't it.
