Say I breed for a Rhyhorn in the GBA games. All I need to do to test for Solid Rock is to transfer to D/P and evolve it to Rhydon, right? The ability can only change once?

Rockhead changes to Solid Rock and Lightning Rod stays Lghtning Rod.
 
If I was to put in an AR code to make legendaries reappear on Emerald...ie, make Rayquaza appear on the Sky Pillar again...then SR'd for it and caught it legitimately, would it register as hacked?

Nope, it's a ROM hack. A pretty well done one, apart from a second rival which I have a strong suspicion is some kind of self-insert. But it's NOT A REAL GAME. (NOTE: I've never played it. All the info I have is from Youtube videos)
 
Is the double power effect of Assurance and Revenge activated by damage from 'spike' moves?

If Stealth Rock is on the opponent's side of the field and they decide or are forced to switch, will the switch-in take the extra damage if Assurance is used on the same turn?
 
Assurance would deal extra damage, I'm not quite sure how you'd manage to take damage for revenge via spikes though since you couldn't attack the turn you switch in.
 
Can someon give me info on the SR breeding method? I undertand how its done i think, the egg alwways hatches with same nature and trait, but different ivs. Question is how do you know when the eggs gonna be right nature and trait before it hatches the first time?

save before you take an egg. if its the right nature/ability, keep soft resetting for the iv's. if its not the right nature/ability, save again and take another egg. continue this until you get the right nature/ability.
 
Toxic Spikes are cleared by two things -- Rapid Spin and grounded Poison-types. But, consider a Pokemon like Crobat -- Poison / Flying. If it uses Roost, it loses its Flying-type, and therefore is a grounded Poison-type. Does Crobat using Roost clear Toxic Spikes?

If I put a Zoom Lens on Tangrowth, will Sleep Powder have 90% accuracy on the switch? By all acounts, I moved last.

Is Shell Bell a good alternative on a Curselax? Say if I'm playing with Item Clause?
 
zoom lens is + 10 % acc iirc, so it would only be 85%. Leftovers is obviously the best. Curselax really likes leftovers for rest, and while it's cursing, but shell bell isn't a bad alternative later on. Still remember that snorlax has lots of hp, which isn't the best with shell bell.

Well, I think a Chesto Berry might be a better substitute, assuming you are using Rest of course.
 
I had the random idea of making a team who's strategy would be to pass levitation to pokemon who could potentially sweep with it (Heatran, Electrivire, ect. ect.)

Is there a pokemon that could Baton Pass Magnet Rise?

Is there another way?

That's Wide Lens, Zoom Lens is described as this:

I should have mentioned that all these are considered with item clause.

So anyway, to reiterate. If a slow pokemon uses Sleep/Hypnosis on a switch, do they get the 20% accuracy boost?

Good point, I was thinking without rest, but then that kinda of limits it's staying power I suppose. I was trying to get a more offensively oriented Snorlax, without leftover, or rest. Those are better off banded or belted I suppose.

New question: What alternate item would you guys consider for Vaporeon outside of Leftovers. Again, think item clause, and you we're reserving leftovers for your special or physical tank.
