Our Winners:

Wallbreaker #1 goes to Brodaha with his Metagross

Name of the Pokemon: Metagross
Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Choice Band user, Agility Sweeper
Type: Psychic / Steel
Abilities: Clear Body / Iron Fist
Stat Distribution: 80 / 125 / 105 / 65 / 65 / 75
Movepool Additions: N/A
Movepool Removals: Earthquake, Meteor Mash
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Did someone say discount Mega Metagross? Even if you didn't, here it is. Sky high attack and good physical bulk make Metagross a powerful wallbreaker, especially taking advantage of Choice Band and Iron Fist. Iron Fist is similar to Tough Claws, but doesn't boost the most spammable STAB attacks like Iron Head and Zen Headbutt. It does boost useful moves like Bullet Punch, Hammer arm, and Ice Punch though. A reliance on contact moves and low Special defense make Metagross vulnerable to Cofagrigus. Metagross doesn't want to use it's bad SpA anymore meaning it will have trouble killing certain threats that it's physical coverage can't break.
Wallbreaker #2 goes to my Cloyster

Pokemon: Cloyster
Roles: Special Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Choice Specs, Choice Scarf, Suicide Lead, Physical Wall, Hazard Setter, Hazard Removal
Type:

Abilities:
Shell Armor / Intimidate | Contrary (HA)
Stats: 45 / 50 / 180 / 75 / 55 / 80 (485 BST)
Movepool Additions: Vicious Mockery, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Taunt
Movepool Removals: Shell Smash, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Frost Breath
Custom Elements: Vicious Mockery: A Dark-type Clanging Scales clone that lowers SpA
Justification: While appearing initially to be quite weak, Vicious Mockery alongside Contrary allows Cloyster to slowly but surely boost its lackluster Special Attack while additionally firing off a powerful STAB attack. In addition to this Cloyster has access to STAB Hydro Pump which tremendously pressures even Unaware Nihilego, therefore making it a competent Stallbreaker by utilizing Taunt and Vicious Mockery in order to shut down walls and boost through them. Contrary also prevents Flygon from switching in, as its Mythical Presence boosts Cloyster and risks it getting hit by a +1 Icy Wind. Hazard and Spin access grant it additional utility and the option to run a suicide lead set while 45/180 physical bulk alongside intimidate makes a defensive spin set plausible. However, very low special bulk alongside only ok speed makes it difficult for Cloyster to switch into any special attacker not named Cofagrigus and allows it to be easily revenge killed by Raichu and Flygon unless Scarf.

Choice Specs (Cloyster) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Vicious Mockery
- Hydro Pump

Suicide Lead (Cloyster) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Taunt
- Rapid Spin

Defensive Spinner (Cloyster) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 124 Def / 136 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic / Refresh
Wall #1, Flaaffy, goes to Gravity Monkey

Pokemon: Flaaffy (Eviolite combatible)
Roles: Mixed Wall, Defensive Pivot, Cleric
Type:

Abilities: Natural Cure / Static / Volt Absorb
Stat Distribution: 100 / 55 / 80 / 70 / 70 / 40 (BST: 395)
Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Wish, Heal Bell, Earth Power, Moonlight
Movepool Removals:
Custom Elements:
Justification: Electric/Fairy is a typing that I found really interesting for a defensive pivot. It has only two weaknesses and a great number of interesting resistances (and even one immunity!). Unfortunately, in normal play, all fairy/electric mons are either offensive (Koko) or not viable in most metagames (Dedenne). I decided to merge this interesting typing with another underrepresented concept, an eviolite user. And from this union is born Flaaffy! With great supportive movepool with Thunder Wave, Volt Switch and some new things like Wish and Heal Bell, Flaaffy could work as a really potent pivot. Its abilities even furter reinforce this role: Natural Cure adds more value to switching out and Volt Absorb gives it more switch-in opportunities. Flaaffy is still far from invinvible, since it would be pretty much walled by Nihilego, but it would be an interesting addition to the cast.
Just to mention, I inverted its defense and its special defense, so it could tank more from Liepard.

My Beloved Swalot, Wall #2, also goes to me

Pokemon: Swalot
Roles: Mixed Wall, Special Wall
Type:

Abilities:
Sticky Hold / Cheek Pouch | Dry Skin (HA)
Stats: 175 / 40 / 65 / 80 / 65 / 50 (475 BST)
Movepool Additions: Recycle, Dark Pulse, Snarl
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: A truly versatile defensive pokemon that can fill in any voids left in a defensive core. Overlap with Nihilego as a Poison-type, you say? Nonsense! In fact, Levitate Nihilego+ Dry Skin Swalot can be a potential core, sharing no weaknesses and covering each other for Psychic+Fire and Ground+Water type weaknesses, respectively. Sticky Hold ensures Leftovers remains while Cheek Pouch+Sitrus Recycle allows for big recovery (and Belch lol). Dry Skin adds even more immunities to the mix at the cost of a psuedo-weakness.

Mixed Wall (Swalot) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Cheek Pouch
Calm Nature
EVs: 104 HP / 152 Def / 16 SpA / 236 SpD
- Sludge Bomb / Belch
- Dark Pulse
- Recycle
- Toxic / Yawn

This Swalot set blanket checks a wide swath of the current meta while still be susceptible to very strong hits (Banded Bulu's Flare Blitz) and Knock Off (rip recovery).

This set's EVs seems pretty damn wonky at first look, but the EVs have a purpose. 104 HP + 152 Defense means LO Raichu's Wild Charge cannot 2HKO after rocks. 16 Special Attack is basically a dump stat. 104 HP + 236 Special Defense alongside a Calm nature means that Specs Flygon cannot 2HKO with Moonblast after rocks (Draco Meteor is stalled out due to the ~58% recovery from Cheek Pouch Sitrus).
252 SpA Choice Specs Flygon Moonblast vs. 104 HP / 236+ SpD Swalot: 192-226 (37.1 - 43.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Choice Specs Flygon Draco Meteor over 2 turns vs. 104 HP / 236+ SpD Swalot: 350-414 (67.6 - 80%) -- not a KO
(Flygon can't do anything but U-turn out)

252 Atk Life Orb Raichu Wild Charge vs. 104 HP / 152 Def Swalot: 191-226 (36.9 - 43.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Thunderbolt vs. 104 HP / 236+ SpD Swalot: 153-181 (29.5 - 35%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252 Atk Raichu Wild Charge vs. 104 HP / 152 Def Swalot: 220-259 (42.5 - 50%) -- 92.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
(Solidly checks both physical and special LO pivot Raichu, checks Z-Celebrate as long as the Berry triggers after Stealth Rock damage or no rocks are on the field)
And now we will be going into our first Discussion Phase! This phase is primarily based on submitting (theoretically) optimized sets for the VR and discussing potentially unhealthy elements. A particular discussion point for today is:

Does Cofagrigus Suck? (In comparison to Nihilego, Meganium, Tapu Bulu, Swalot, and Flaafy) And if So, How do we Fix This?
Brodaha brought this up while talking about Clean Slate, putting particular emphasis on how Cofagrigus' relative lack of walling potential compared to Nihilego may have skewed physically attacking submissions into being disproportionally weak in order to accommodate.

Discussion will last for 24 hours or so, the next slate and nerfs/buffs plus Sample Sets will be up after that.

Sorry for making two really disproportionate walls, I should have made cofagrigus stronger and nihilego a little weaker. Anyway, I hope we will find a way to fix that under 24 hours!

Some sets:

Mixed Wall (Swalot) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Cheek Pouch
Calm Nature
EVs: 104 HP / 152 Def / 16 SpA / 236 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb / Belch
- Dark Pulse
- Recycle
- Toxic / Yawn
Description in original Swalot post

BURP (Swalot) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Cheek Pouch
EVs: 92 Def / 252 SpA / 164 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Belch
- Dark Pulse
- Acid Spray / Hidden Power [Fire]
- Recycle
More offensive variant of Swalot, leveraging Belch's high BP and ease of activation via Sitrus Berry in order to pressure the opponent. 92 Defense avoids the 2HKO from LO Raichu's Wild Charge while 164 Speed creeps no speed Meganium and Tapu Bulu (I swear I didn't min/max beforehand the EVs just worked out somehow with 0 excess). Acid Spray breaks Nihilego while HP Fire beats theoretical future-steels.

Choice Band (Metagross) @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 220 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Bullet Punch
- Hammer Arm
- Zen Headbutt / Trick
Standard fare, 216 EVs outspeed Band Bulu and defensive Nihilego while remaining EVs are dumped into HP and 4 into defense to keep HP odd. Everything else is self-explanatory I think, Banded Bullet Punch pressures offense like mad

Offensive Rocks (Metagross) @ Iron Plate
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 248 HP / 112 Atk / 32 Def / 64 SpD / 52 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Bullet Punch
- Hammer Arm / Toxic
- Stealth Rock
Bulkier approach to Metagross that still hits relatively hard while setting Stealth Rock with ease. 248 HP + 32 Def ensures Raichu cannot 2HKO with LO Wild Charge while 64 Special Defensive EVs prevent LO Flygon's Earth Power from OHKOing after rocks. 112 Atk alongside an Adamant Nature and an Iron Plate maximizes offensive presence, 2HKOing Raichu with Bullet Punch, OHKOing offensive Flygon with Iron Head, and 2HKO Utility Flygon with Bullet Punch. 52 Speed creeps specially defensive Cloyster but if that's an unset just invest the 52 into attack. Loves wish support from Meganium who in turn loves that Metagross checks Nihilego.

Additionally I think an interesting Cofagrigus buff (outside of the obvious Recover) would be to drastically reduce his HP stat but scale up his defensive stats in order to make Pain Split slightly more potent.

As Leonard said I think the biggest flaw with Cofagrigus is lack of reliable recovery. I would like to propose a Shore Up clone that Recovers 2/3 of health during Trick Room.
-This would encourage Cofragigus to set up Trick Room.
-Because Trick Room doesn't last very long, Cofragigus would not be able to stall out opponents.

I do think that Cofagrigus is a bit underwhelming compared to Nihilego, and it definitely led to special submissions being stronger than physical ones. The thing is, without reliable recovery it's going to have very limited opportunites to wall once it has tanked one attack, and it's SpD is weak enough that even defensive pokemon with special attacks could beat it 1v1. Once weakened its low speed means that anything can move first to finish it off. Pain Split is theoretically recovery but it's not very good on a pokemon with base 70 HP, and Rough Skin kind of works against it.

I would say a small buff to Cofagrigus might be best, and probably wouldn't break anything. I still kind of like the idea of limiting its recovery a bit though since Rough Skin punishes a lot of attackers just for hitting it, but we could lower the HP to make better use of Pain Split or possibly give it something like Leech Seed, which is semi-reliable.

-Set related comments:
-Flygon will probably not run Dual STAB over a coverage move as Dragon/Fairy is somewhat redundant and it gets Ground/Fire to pair perfectly with either; it will probably also run 3 attacks a lot of the time.
-Tapu Bulu would almost certainly run Megahorn on some of its sets, especially Choice Band, in order to beat Meganium.
-Meganium could run Outrage and possibly Dragonium-Z on its Swords Dance set as its the hardest hit it can dish out.

Yeah I made the Flygon sets on the fly (heh) but I definitely think it’ll run either just Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor/Moonblast on defensive sets (Dragon is somehow stronger as a STAB due to no dragon resists outside of itself, basically you either hit yourself or Bulu harder here) and then Moonblast/Draco Meteor/Earth Power/Roost on LO sets, Earth Power helps against Swalot and HP Fire hits nothing notable at the moment. While both STABS seem redundant Moonblast allows it to hit opposing Flygons and have a more spammable STAB option

I totally forgot Bulu got megahorn, it’ll definitely run that on Choice Band and offensive SD

Not sure about Outrage+Dragonium Z, while the stronger Z is great Dragon Hammer is a much safer (and still powerful) option that doesn’t turn you into complete Flygon bait after the Z is popped

Well I assume it's pretty much Flygon bait anyway, but to be fair Flaffy and Metagross give it even more reasons to run Groundium. Even so, Outrage is its only chance to OHKO Nihilego at +2. There's almost no reason to Swords Dance Meganium over Tapu Bulu, though. Also Flygon doesn't need to run HP Fire, as it has Flamethrower and Fire Blast.

I was messing around in the calculator and I came up with some alternate EV spreads alternate defensive stats for Cofagrigus that keep it just as bulky ( based on a 252 HP 252 Def spread ) while lowering the HP stat. It should be noted that these spreads do change the bulk of a 252 SpD spread, making them less bulky on the special side but more bulky on the physical side. These spreads are:

35 / 189 / 104
40 / 180 / 98
45 / 173 / 95
50 / 167 / 91

So I think those would be a good starting point when altering Cofagrigus' defenses, as they would make Pain Split far more effective.

Adding onto that, I think I have another novel concept- Replacing cursed body with Early Bird, granting Cofag potent recovery in the form of 1 turn sleep Rest. It's weaker than recover in most ways but removes status. However it would overshadow Cursed Body and Rough Skin so I'm not super attached to the idea compared to less HP.

Also purifiy+toxic spikes yeet

Just to let everyone knows that I have updated the Spreadsheet with the winners included.

I would agree that lowering Cofagrigous's HP but heighten its Defense at the same time makes Pain Split more effective.

For Flaafy I've come up with a spread of 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpD Calm, which allows it switch in on Life Orb Earth Power from Flygon and Choice Band Iron Head from Metagross and not be 2HKOed after Stealth Rock.

Utility Pivot (Flaafy) @ Eviolite
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpD
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Volt Switch / Discharge
- Heal Bell / Wish
- Moonlight

Toxic and Volt Switch punish most switch-ins. Heal Bell / Wish support your team, while Moonlight keeps it healthy. Static so you can Paralyze Metagross and it can't flinch you.

Cleric (Flaafy) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect / Moonlight
- Heal Bell
- Volt Switch / Discharge

Wish + Volt Switch is extremely useful for healing teammates. Natural Cure so status spam doesn't keep it from doing its job. Very passive, though.

Cofagrigus rework:

Old Stats: 70/50/140/92/78/40 (470 BST)
New Stats: 40/48/180/92/100/40 (500 BST)

Movepool Additions: Purify

Bulk comparison:
Old Bulk:
252 Atk Life Orb Raichu Wild Charge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 95-113 (27.6 - 32.9%) -- 76.9% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Cofagrigus: 195-230 (56.8 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
New Bulk: 252 Atk Life Orb Raichu Wild Charge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 78-94 (27.5 - 33.2%) -- 81.8% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Cofagrigus: 157-187 (55.4 - 66%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

With much lower HP Cofagrigus now can abuse Pain Split with a bit more reliability. In addition to this, Purify is another form of semi-reliable recovery, granting him 50% of his HP back against a status'd opponent (refreshing them in the process). Also Z-Purify I guess

Also Scoopapa is part of the council, hooray!

Slate 4: Offensive Archetypes

2 Enablers and 2 Abusers

(Respectively, so this slate will result in 2 archetypes. Additionally, the slate will be voted by each pair, like in Slate 1)
We have the beginnings of decent semistall through bulky offense teams forming at the moment, but what's a metagame without some cheesy offensive archetypes? Here's the common archetypes:
  • Rain
  • Sun
  • Sand
  • Hail and/or Aurora Veil
  • Trick Room
  • Sticky Webs
  • Dual Screens
  • ...Tailwind?
  • .............Glare spam?
If you can find another valid one, be my guest. Additionally, no auto-Trick Room ability will be allowed because if I've learned anything from Sylvemons it's that automatic Trick Room is never healthy. Happy posting!

Name of the Pokemon: Baltoy ( no Eviolite )
Role(s): Sand Setter, Choice Specs, Stealth Rock, Offensive Spinner
Type:

Abilities: Sand Stream | Clear Body
Stat Distribution: 50 / 60 / 70 / 95 / 95 / 120 ( BST: 490 )
Movepool Additions: Power Gem, Weather Ball, Recover, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Reflect, Psychic, Psyshock, Zen Headbutt, Ice Beam, Grass Knot, Solarbeam, Trick, Trick Room
Justification: A fast setter of Sandstorm with a decent balance of offense, bulk, and support. Sandstorm supports Mothim by letting it outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, and Baltoy can also deal with Fire, and Flying attacks that Mothim is weak to. It also has decent standalone potential as an offensive pivot, but be careful of what teammates you choose, as Sandstorm nerfs recovery for Flaafy, Meganium, and Tapu Bulu, and chips many others.

Sand Setter ( Baltoy ) @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Weather Ball
- Earth Power
- Volt Switch
- Recover / Stealth Rock

This version is meant to set Sand and pivot out, using it's decent special bulk to switch in and either keep itself healthy or set up Stealth Rock

Choice Specs ( Baltoy ) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Weather Ball
- Earth Power
- Volt Switch
- HP Ice / Thunderbolt

This version is good as a standalone pokemon but could still be used with Mothim.

Name of the Pokemon: Mothim
Role(s): Sand Sweeper
Type:

Abilities: Sand Rush / Swarm | Levitate
Stat Distribution: 65 / 80 / 95 / 115 / 75 / 50 ( BST: 480 )
Movepool Additions: Nasty Plot, Secret Sword, Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere
Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance
Justification: Mothim has great wallbreaking potential that's held back by its low speed. Sand Rush boosts that speed higher than Raichu's, allowing it to become a terrifying sweeper with Nasty Plot. Secret Sword and Bug Buzz hit on either side of the defensive spectrum, which makes this Mothim scary to wall. It can set up on Nihilego, Cofagrigus, and Meganium fairly easily. Swalot and Flaffy can counter it, however, and it's checked by Flygon. It can take Grass, Ground, and Fighting attacks aimed at Baltoy.

Sand Sweeper ( Ledian ) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Secret Sword
- Bug Buzz
- HP Ice / Vacuum Wave / Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot

The main set, it can set up on certain defensive pokemon and sweep weakened teams.

Sand Pivot ( Ledian ) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Secret Sword
- Bug Buzz
- HP Ice / Shadow Ball
- U-turn / Vacuum Wave

This set takes a more active role in the early game, and forms a U-turn/Volt Switch core with Baltoy.

---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------

Name of the Pokemon: Dragonair ( no Eviolite )
Role(s): Rain Setter, Hail Setter, Sun Setter
Type:

Abilities: Drizzle / Snow Warning | Drought
Stat Distribution: 90 / 75 / 89 / 95 / 101 / 70 ( BST: 520 )
Movepool Additions: Recover, U-turn
Movepool Removals:
Justification: A weather-setting tank that has decent bulk, power, and movepool, but is held back somewhat by low speed and poor defensive typing. It uses varying weather conditions ( the Dragonair lore supports this idea ) to give itself pseudo STAB on Water or Fire or to boost its own Ice STAB. Thanks to U-turn and decent offensive presence, it's good at pivoting to a weather-abusing teammate. It can set up Rain and pivot into Whishcash's counters, or form a Blizzard Spam core with Raichu. Although a sun team looks shaky at the moment, it does have Meganium and Tapu Bulu as recipients.

Rain Setter ( Dragonair ) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf / Ice Beam
- Hurricane
- Recover
- U-turn

Deals with Tapu Bulu, Cofagrigus, and to a lesser extent Meganium, while it lures out Swalot, Nihilego, and Metagross for Whiscash.

Wall Breaker ( Dragonair ) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Snow Warning / Drizzle
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard / Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt / Hurricane
- Fire Blast / Surf
- Draco Meteor / Thunder / U-turn

A decent wallbreaker with powerful Ice STAB and passive chip damage from Hail. Drizzle has some better matchups but Snow Warning gives you an extremely spammable move.

Sun Setter ( Dragonair ) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Fire Blast

Try to kill or cripple most of what can revenge kill Meganium and Tapu Bulu, so you can set up a Solar Power + Grassy Terrain + Choice Specs Solarbeam sweep. Pretty cheesy.

Name of the Pokemon: Whiscash
Role(s): Rain Sweeper, Dragon Dance Sweeper
Type:

Abilities: Rain Dish / Anticipation | Swift Swim
Stat Distribution: 110 / 105 / 75 / 70 / 65 / 50 ( BST: 475 )
Movepool Additions: U-turn, Slack Off
Movepool Removals: Aqua Tail
Justification: Whiscash has a solid typing to beat Nihilego, Metagross, Swalot and Flaafy, making it really powerful in the Rain. It has a hard time against Cofagrigus, Meganium, and Tapu Bulu but it can weaken them and pivot into Dragonair or another teammate. Choice Band is a big threat and a great offensive pivot, while Dragon Dance Z-Water can break through Tapu Bulu and Cofagrigus. It also resists Bullet Punch from Metagross and is fairly resilient to Ice Shards from Raichu.

Choice Band ( Whiscash ) @ Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge / Slack Off

Dragon Dance ( Whiscash ) @ Waterium-Z / Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / U-turn

Stat Distribution: 85/30/85/110/85/35 | 415
Movepool Additions: Aurasphere, Morning Sun, Lava Plume, Trick Room
Movepool Removals: Extrasensory, Psychic, Calm Mind
Justification: Darmanitan-Zen is very slow to unsure to set up its weather in front of other setters. It can pivot thanks to U-Turn into Sun-Abuser such as Heliolisk. It has reliable recovery in Morning Sun which heals 67% of its life. It can also run an offensive trick room set which is no very good because it is walled by several Pokémon in the tier such as Meganium, Flygon and Nihilego.

Movepool Removals: Hyper Voice, Glare
Justification: Heliolisk is a strong glass canon, it can OHKO/2HKO almost every Pokémon with Choice Specs Fire Blast under harsh sun. However it's outspeed by most Choice Scarf and by super fast Pokémon such as Raichu, which can OHKO it because of its mediocre bulk, weakness to every hazards and Solar Power recoil. It is also weak to priority move. It needs Darmanitan U-Turn support to come on safely because it can't come on any hit. It depends a lot from the sun since without it it loses a lot of power.

Justification: Phione is a nice pivot for Rain thanks to its correct 80/80/80 bulk, its ability Drizzle and its acces to U-Turn. It can also work as a wallbreaker with Tail Glow which breaks well defensive core but is easily revenge killed by most offensive Pokémon because of its rather low speed.

Base Stats: 77 / 75 / 61 / 75 / 61 / 95 (444 BST)
Movepool Additions: Boomburst, Tail Glow

Uses: Kricketune is a Sticky Web setter, but it isn't passive and can do a lot of damage if not taken seriously. It has got STAB Boomburst and Tail Glow to boost its Special Attack. The funny thing is that Kricketune can counter opposing Kricketunes thanks to Soundproof. However if you want to surprise the opponent, you can use the inferior Swords Dance set to beat opposing Kricketunes.

Uses: Poipole is the perfect Sticky Web abuser. It has a very low Speed and a mediocre bulk, but it is one of the strongest Clean Pokemon thanks to Adaptability and high attacking stats, both physical and special. Sticky Web helps with Poipole's low Speed and it even makes Poipole stronger by doubling Venostrike's power against all foes affected by Sticky Web. Poipole is extremely strong, but it doesn't have any good coverage except Hidden Power, which means it gets checked by Swalot, Metagross and Cofagrigus.

I don't think they're 100% necessary, they just give some detail/insight into the submission.
Movepool Additions: Muscle Drain*, Recover
Also, Reuniclus already learns Recover.

Name of the Pokemon: Starmie

Stat Distribution: 70/ 65 / 90 / 95 / 90 / 120
Movepool Additions: Fire Blast, Flamethrower
Movepool Removals: Ice Beam
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Starmie is already a very versatile pokemon, but now it becomes an even more unpredictable offensive and defensive threats. It has the option of setting up Rain or Sun, boosting one of it's STABs at the cost of weakening the other. Starmie can effectively be an offensive threat or support pokemon using it's great movepool including tons of coverage or defensive using Recover and Rapid Spin. Fire coverage can even be used in Drizzle sets to hit Dry Skin Swalot.

Name of the Pokemon: Dragalge
Role(s): Rain Abuser, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs User, Assault Vest user
Type: Poison / Water
Abilities: Swift Swim / Hydro Power
Stat Distribution: 65 / 75 / 70 / 123 / 96 / 63
Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, Dazzling Gleam
Movepool Removals: Haze, Acid Armor, Toxic Spikes
Custom Elements: Hydro Power: This pokemon's SpA is 1.5x in Rain, but loses 1/8 of it's max health under rain as well. (Solar Power clone)
Justification: Dragalge can abuse Rain in multiple ways, either by boosting it's mediocre speed to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, or by boosting it's already good SpA to a massive level. Because Dragalge has such good coverage, it can easily run Assault Vest or Choice Specs sets to hit almost anything that comes in front of it. Removing Haze and Toxic Spikes encourages Dragalge for offensive roles.

Name of the Pokemon: Mudsdale
Role(s): Aftershock setter, Mixed wall, Physical wallbreaker
Type: Ground//Normal
Abilities: Inner Focus / Earthshaker
Stat Distribution: 110 / 90 / 110 / 40 / 90 / 40
Movepool Additions: Smack Down, Shore Up
Movepool Removals: N/A
Custom Elements: Earthshaker: Summons Aftershocks Terrain upon switching in.
Aftershocks terrain: Ground type moves have 1.5x power. All grounded pokemon lose 1/8 of their HP at the end of every turn.
Justification: Mudsdale fills an interesting role by setting a new weather, Aftershocks. Aftershocks works well with Mudsdale, boosting it's STAB Earthquakes. Nihilego also gets the added bonus of avoiding the boosted Ground type moves if it's using a Levitate set. Mudsdale itself has good all-around bulk and decent attack, which is essentially boosted when Aftershocks is active. Smack Down can be used to ground Flying type pokemon into the range of powerful Earthquakes. Shore Up gives Mudsdale reliable recovery and is very useful to keep up longevity, especially during Aftershocks because of the large chip damage.
+1 252+ Atk Mudsdale Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 99-117 (34.9 - 41.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252+ Atk burned Mudsdale Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 49-58 (17.3 - 20.4%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock
0- Atk Cofagrigus Foul Play vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Mudsdale: 121-143 (28.6 - 33.8%) -- 98.6% chance to 3HKO after burn damage

All calcs are done under Aftershocks terrain.

Name of the Pokemon: Camerupt
Role(s): Special wallbreaker, Aftershock abuser
Type: Fire / Ground
Abilities: Solid Rock / Magma Armor / Tremor Power
Stat Distribution: 70 / 85 / 75 / 125 / 85 / 55
Movepool Additions: Dragon Pulse
Movepool Removals: N/A
Custom Elements: Tremor Power: During Aftershock terrain, this Pokemon's SpA is 1.5x.
Justification: Camerupt becomes a terrifying special sweeper under Aftershocks, boosting both STABs to extreme levels coming off of 125 SpA. Camerupt's low speed is a big problem for it, probably requiring Sticky Web or Tailwind support to hit first and avoid getting OHKO'd. It can reach a max speed of 229 with a Choice Scarf, 252 EVs, and a boosting nature. A Choice Specs set can do massive damage to almost anything, but can't outspeed much and dies easily.
+1 252 SpA Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 56 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 196-232 (52.5 - 62.1%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
60+ Atk Tapu Bulu Wood Hammer vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Camerupt in Grassy Terrain: 253-298 (88.1 - 103.8%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
+1 252 SpA Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Thick Fat Meganium: 135-159 (36.7 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 252 SpA Camerupt Dragon Pulse vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Meganium: 278-328 (75.7 - 89.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Just a quick note on your last 2 subs, persistent isn’t allowed as it’s not a clone of an existing ability (cap doesn’t fit that) and persistent+light clay screens... may be a bit too much. Also, your Reuni’s high physical bulk+recovery+calm mind and not terrible speed tier (against Swalot and Cofag) points towards it functioning more as a bulky stallbreaker like regular reuni in OU, and nobody runs Reuni under Trick Room in OU

Grass-type | Status | —% accuracy | PP: 20 - 32 | For 5 turns (8 if holding Light Clay), damage to opponents is 4/3x; can only be used under Harsh Sunlight [Aurora Veil clone].
Justification: This is my try on adding a niche to Sun weather condition. In the actual meta, except Torkoal that is used sometimes in Doubles, there aren’t a lot of Sun users and abusers. With the fact that Chlorophyll is only available to Grass-type Pokémon, that are weak to Fire type, makes them bad choices for a Sun-based team. Seeing how Hail shined a little when Ninetales-Alola introduced Aurora Veil in the meta, I tried somehow to emulate this with an offensive version of that, since it fits even more with Fire type. With Drought-boosted Synthesis this mon can resist a lot on the field, and if you avoid the few types Flora’s weak to, it can set both Sun and Photosinthesis multiple times along the battle. It has strong Solar Beam on its side, but also Giga Drain, Overheat, Fire Blast and Flamethrower, while it can also use some utility moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Leech Seed.

Pokemon: Stakataka
Roles: Sand Setter, Hazards (Stealth Rock)
Type:

Abilities:
Beast Boost | Sand Stream (HA)
Stat Distribution: 59 / 101 / 211 / 71 / 101 / 23 (560 BST)
Movepool Additions: Heavy Slam
Movepool Removals: Trick Room, Gyro Ball
Justification: Stakataka is a bulky sand setter with huge mixed bulk but no recovery and a poor defensive typing. Access to Stealth Rock and a powerful STAB Heavy Slam alongside Rock Blast for bopping cheeky Sash Raichus makes Stakataka a mildly threatening offensive presence in addition setting Sand. CB Beast Boost is also possible I guess.

Sand Setter (Stakataka) @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Atk / 164 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
248 HP+164 Special Defense makes sure that LO Flygon cannot OHKO with Earth Power after rocks. Rest goes into attack in order to pressure the opponent.

Choice Band (Stakataka) @ Choice Band
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake
- Superpower
Speed creeps base 50 (Swalot and below), rest is self explanatory

Pokemon: Gumshoos-Totem
Roles: Wallbreaker, Sand Abuser, Choice Band
Type:

Abilities: Scrappy / Sand Force | Sand Rush (HA)
Stat Distribution: 108 / 127 / 60 / 55 / 60 / 45 (455 BST)
Movepool Additions: Rock Slide, Rock Blast, Stone Edge
Movepool Removals: Iron Tail, Iron Head, Taunt
Justification: Somewhat like Stoutland in lower tiers, Gumshoos can function as both a devastating Scrappy wallbreaker out of sand while being a powerful sweeper in sand by either boosting its speed with Sand Rush (jolly outspeeds Raichu even) or hitting even harder with Sand Force. High natural HP makes him a prime Pain Split target for Cofagrigus, however. Additionally, Choice Band is heavily prediction reliant in order to play around Levitate Nihilego with Zen Headbutt while LO lacks the power to 2HKO Cofagrigus outside of Sand.

Pokemon: Celesteela
Roles: Gravity Setter, Mixed Wall, Automize Sweeper
Type:

Abilities: Beast Boost | Force of Attraction* (HA)
Stat Distribution: 97 / 97 / 103 / 89 / 101 / 73 (560 BST)
Movepool Additions: None
Movepool Removals: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Mega Drain, Air Slash
Custom Elements: Force Of Attraction: Drizzle clone for Gravity, Metal Powder makes Gravity last for 8 turns instead of 5. Gravity is now overwritten by other weather and vice versa.
Justification: Celesteela is very heavy, so the idea of summoning Gravity on entry is not too far off. Additionally, Celesteela boasts very solid mixed bulk, ok recovery via Leech Seed, and a powerful Heavy Slam to avoid passivity. An Automized Heavy Slam set can also be ran leveraging Heavy Slam, Earthquake, and Stone Edge alongside Beast Boost in order to sweep. Also, 560 BST and prime stats for consistency with Nihilego :).

Pokemon: Raticate-Alola-Totem
Roles: Gravity Abuser, Stallbreaker (Setup-based), Choice Scarf, Choice Band
Type:

Abilities:
Thick Fat / Gluttony | Extreme Bulk (HA)
Stat Distribution: 122 / 71 / 40 / 40 / 50 / 77 (400 BST)
Movepool Additions: Heavy Slam, High Horsepower
Movepool Removals: Zen Headbutt, Sucker Punch
Custom Elements: Extreme Bulk: While under the effects of Gravity, the user's attack stat is doubled (Swift Swim clone with attack)
Justification: A Gravity abuser that becomes phenomenally powerful under the effects of Gravity, being able to shred through any wall it comes in contact with and possessing a great Speed tier for the job (outspeeding Nihilego while remaining adamant, cool). Alternatively, a Choice Scarf set running a Jolly nature can outspeed the entire unboosted metagame (adamant is outsped by Raichu) and slam offense for heavy damage off of an effective Attack stat of 530. However this set struggles against bulkier teams, while the breaker sets struggle against offense. Additionally Gravity only lasts for so long before its back to possessing a very mediocre base 71 Attack.

Wallbreaker (Raticate-Alola-Totem) @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Extreme Bulk
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Double-Edge
- Knock Off
- Quick Attack

Movepool Removals: Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Surf
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Rain setter that can also set Tailwind. Has decent bulk and speed, and it can also set up with Calm Mind to sweep. However, it can be somewhat passive without boosts, has no reliable recovery, and has a weakness to Stealth Rock, limiting the number of times it can switch in.

Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Sun setter that can also set Stealth Rock. Has decent bulk and speed, and it can also set up with Bulk Up to sweep. Sun also lessens its 4x Water weakness. However, it has no reliable recovery which limits the number of times it can switch in.

Name of the Pokemon: Lugia

Movepool Removals: Tailwind, Hurricane, Thunder, Blizzard, Earth Power, Earthquake, Calm Mind, Hydro Pump, Surf, Weather Ball, Recover, Roost
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Rain abuser with STAB Scald and Aeroblast. Removed Hurricane, Thunder, and Hydro Pump for because they made it too powerful. However, it has a Stealth Rock weakness as well as a 4x Electric weakness. It also isn't very fast outside of rain.
Offensive:
