I said i wasn't using dittos for breeding...

So what your saying is if the female/ditto w/everstone isn't from my games language the trick doesn't work?
 
A question of my own...

For the item description of Stone Plate it says this:

Raises the power of Rock moves 20%. Pokemon with Multitype become Rock.

Does this mean that a Rock / Ground pokemon (like Golem) becomes monotype Rock if it's holding the plate or have I misinterpreted it?

Ok, a Ditto question. After Ditto Transforms, do Quick Powder and Metal power still affect him?

Also, when he transforms he copies abilities right?

i think if either the male or the female parent is from a different language, that it doesn't work then. Not 100 % sure about this though.
 
In RSE, you could gain steps by running up the sandy slopes (the bike thing).
I've seen the daycare glitch where the player goes to Fuego... is there a faster way to get steps in DP?
 
If I had a Manaphy sat waiting on a DS cart, and I used Battle Revolution's Mystery Gift, would I lose the Manaphy? They appear to use the same NPC, the bloke who appears in every PokeMart.

da gold sun - My favourite VS Seeker double battle place is above Solaceon Town, its on the path between the grass. Good when the restaurant is shut and also quicker to get to.

I believe you get the mystery gifts in the order that you received them, IF you have space in your party.

I got Electivire and Magmortar at the same time when I rented PBR, and I seem to remember that I would have been given both at once, had I extra space in my party. I only had one free slot, so I just got the one I mystery gifted for first, and then the other one later. You definitely won't lose the Manaphy though. I'm not so sure if you delete the Wonder Card before getting the poke from the guy at the pokemart though.
 
I was trying to use sleep talk on a choice scarfed pokemon as a breloom counter: switch into an expected spore, and then surprise him with a fast sleep talk. This works for the first turn, but then sleep talk fails on subsequent turns. Does choice scarf break sleep talk? I've only tried this on shoddy, is this correct behavior?
 
What exactly do base stats correspond to? At any point in time to a poke's stats match up with its base stats, or are they used in a convoluted formula to calculate stats, but never actually seen in game?

A convoluted formula to calculate stats.

Generally speaking, base stats are "rounder" and easier to remember.
 
I have some questions about a pokemon that knows protect (for example) under the effects of his imprison in 2vs2
1. Can the partner of the pokemon that used imprison use protect?
2. Imprison affect both opponents?
 
Is there a thread anywhere with lots of two pokemon that work well together like Gyaravire or Growthtran because i'm making a team and if there is one, it would save me some time.
 
is it possible to breed lets say an adament charmander (ex.) check its ivs, soft reset and check the ivs again and come out with different ones?
 
Yes. The nature, ability, and gender will stay the same while the IVs will be different. Only as long as you save before you get the egg.
 
o really? I didnt no that, ive bred over idk, 200 adament chimchars this weekend with crap ivs. Since i dont have an AR, how do u check ivs without doing an iv battle?
