NEW GLITCH (all all versions, even U.S.)! Any move teachable to a mimicer

Thought this one up and tested it. It works.

Requirements
:
1 smeargle that knows sketch and another move (our example will be Draco Meteor)
1 pokemon that is faster than smeargle can use a sleep inducing move (our example will be a Breloom.)
1 pokemon slower than smeargle that knows mimic (our example is a Mr. Mime.)
1 Sleep removing item, such as blue flute or awakening or lum berry.

WHAT IS DOES: The effects of this glitch are, the pokemon with mimic will end up knowing smeargles second move, instead of mimic. The pokemon will retain this move even after the matches completion.

How to do it: Enter a double battle, its nice if the opponents are low leveled or way to weak to dirupt the following pattern. Do NOT attempt this in an online battle. It wont work.

Turn 1: Breloom uses spore on smeargle. Smeargle is put to sleep. Smeargle attemps to use Draco meteor on an opponent, but cant because hes asleep.

Turn 2: Breloom switches to Mr. Mime. Smeargle is still asleep.

Turn 3: Smeargle, still asleep and faster than Mr mime, Attemps to use Sketch. He doesnt because he is asleep. Mr Mime, uses mimic and learns Sketch from smeargle.

Intermission: When a pokemon learns a move via mimic, he can use it regardless of weather he switches or not. He relearns mimic at the end of the match.

Turn 4: Wake smeargle up with a wake-up item. Mr mime does whatever (Don't waste the sketch PP).

Turn 5: Smeargle uses Draco meteor on your opponent. Mr. Mime uses sketch on smeargle and learns Draco Meteor.

Turn 6 and on: Finish the battle however you want.

Once the battle is over, your Mr. Mime will know Draco meteor instead of mimic. Your smeargle will know the same things he knew at the begining of the match.

This glitch can be reproduced in ANY copy of d/p. Japanesse, US, french, whatever. You can use any pokemon that learns mimic instead of Mr Mime. You can use any move you want on smeargle, Draco Meteor was the first thing i thought of while writing this.

After you end the battle, and have your mimicer that knows <crazy move> you can do to the move tutor and teach them mimic again for the cost of a heart scale. Then, you can do this glitch again and end up with 2 crazy moves in one set.

If it works in the third gen, you could teach someone mimic, get them a crazy move, trade them to a different 3rd gen game, get mimic again, teach another move... (not confirmed to work in 3rd gen)

:naughty: Have fun amirite?

EDIT: If i could have some big name, (obi or someone) confirm this it would get people to stop asking if it works. That would be nice.

EDIT2: I found a good list of those who learn it by tutors, its from the 3rd gen dex on serebii. http://serebii.net/attackdex/mimic.shtml It doesnt incluse 4th gen obviously.

I know something similar works in the Jap version-Mimicker Mimics Transform, and then Transforms to the pokemon with the desired move(s), and then dies. Never tried the glitch above, but can this be where illegal combos are legalized?

Chatot, Clefairy, Mr Mime, Sudowoodo and Jigglypuff

By doing this you could make a FEAR Chatot, A Chattering Mr. Mime, A Sub,Wish,Any statboost Baton passer

Sudowoodo, a Trick Roomer that cannot be hit hard by pursuit

O.o I forgot about them....

T-Tar DD Pursuit...

A Surfing Pikachu (Without Hardy nature)

Edit: The Possibilities are endless.....

Rapid Spin Ghosties...

FLAREON WITH FLARE BLITZ!

Don't forgrt 3rd gen move tutors they can also give just about any pokemon mimic.

Oh man, I totaly forgot about that. Which move tutor, and where can I find a list of who can learn it? I was only looking off the serebii list of people who could learn it, but this is amizing.

The problem is you can only get one illegal move with pokes who learn mimic via 3rd gen, so still no volt tackle / flare blits Aeros people...

Yep. Shroomish is the first illegal moveset pokemon that comes to mind. Poison Heal/Thunderpunch anyone? I'll be very interested to see if this glitch actually works.

Why would you want that when you could get a Head Smash one XD? Anyway this will probably will be like the the Ditto Glitch in the Japanese game which allows you to get illegal egg move combinations and such.

There was a move tutor in lg somewhere and i think emereald does it for bp. imagine having weavile with EQ

Well nearly every pokemon can learn Mimic from R/B/Y - R/S/E. And even then they can learn D/P moves

Unfortunately a Rapid Spin Scrappy and Thunderpunch/Poison Heal would still be illegal, As they'd have to learn mimic on Emerald

This changes a few things. Gotta try it out. This is probably classified as hacking though, but it'd be fun to explode your Blissey.

Well, if this is in fact true, and it's allowed, then it's going to really fuck up the metagame...gosh I hope this isn't allowed in competitive play... :(

Remember d/p ability is usually =/= with mmic

we can still have volt tacke aero but no head smash, brave bird, or flar blitz.
