Not bad from someone so inexperinced. Well done. The ridges are a little small and the horn isn't that good, but for you to be scratching parts so early is not normal. Don't make a habit of it yet though.

By the way, it isn't a contest but a challenge. No prizes will be going out and I don't intend to chose a winner or have people vote for one.

Good. Just wanted to make sure no one had any miss understandings. Besides, in some forums the mods aren't too happy about unofficial competitions.

I tried it cuz I was bored, but you might not want to use it since I'm still pretty new to spriting. If you do want to use it you may do as you please. :toast:

It's my first one ever. I have no idea what I'm doing, I just kinda fumbled around with Photoshop until I got this. I don't know how to work with Photoshop either. It's Porygonz, Gliscor, and Corphish btw. I think I did pretty good on the recolor, but Gliscor's tail got mangled when I moved it around and I did kind of a slipshot job redoing it.
 
Well i tried to modify your fusion and:

U needed to add the other set of spikes and do some scratching on the leg braces. And the neck you needed to add a full streak.

Only found in caves, it has lost its eyes and grown horns as a means of defense.
 
My only real problem with those is how unnatural they look. For example, I can't even make out that jumble of pixels behind the first one, though I'm going to assume it's Uxie's tails.

The second one from what I see is pretty much a Gallade recolor with Yanmega's wings and part of its tail hastily thrown in behind him. My advice to you to would be to find a way to make your fusions look more natural. This involves some scratching on your behalf though.

Also, I fixed my Crunch Piranha sprite to fit the color limitations of 32bit X series sprites. Also, I redid his head to face the correct direction.

This is my entry for Shellos competition thing.
It's found in high mountains. It's quick and agile, compared to other shellos. It's also know to be able to jump for quite long distances, thanks to wings on it's back.

Thanks for the advice, I'm still learning. This is just a pure recolor of Typhlosion, as I found his extremely ambiguous body parts make him difficult to use as a base for splicing. His neck piece, however, makes him a great secondary.
