There is no reason to ban it really; if anything, having the ability to repeat items allows for more options in building. I do not see why item clause would be in effect, especially since it has never been in play in Smogon metagames.Simple Question: Why are multiples of the same item legal? (i.e. multiple pokemon with Lefties) I play on cart mostly and its not legal there so I assumed the same here until I ran into a team where 3 mons had lefties which was super irritating and artificially sustaining.
Thanks for such a detailed reply! I've been using dual screens grimmsnarl on my team as well and I agree it's an incredible set, and I honestly lead with it more than Ribombee at this point because Cinderace and Hatterene are everywhere and make it such a pain to get webs up.
I like the sound of darm (presumably band?) and clef together, sounds truly obnoxious to deal with. Some others I've been thinking about are hatterene + drill and band dracovish + LO rotom-mow.
what are some good partners for dugtrio?
https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ss-ou-sample-teams.3657382/Sry if this has been asked and answered previously, but are there any plans for a 'Team Samples' or anything along those lines? I'm finding it hard with team building. Or is OU Bazaar enough as of now?
Thanks in advance!
Which Hatterene is better in a team with Galarian Darmanitan?
corviknight is definitely a problem for sand thanks to its great matchup against excadrill, same goes for all three rotom formes. something to pressure them is definitely wanted. as for teammates i feel like something that can cover the core of tyranitar and drill on a more defensive note is definitely important. i could see jellicent working pretty well as a water immunity too for the troublesome dracovish. another cool teammate is dragapult providing a second form of speed to the team i think that could work out nicely. hope i helped! With the change of gen, what are the biggest threats for a sand team in current metagame?
And outside of Tyrani-Drill core, other mons that can work there?

Something to be said on this, Hatterene need not run Bulky CM just because the team isn't CM, it's quite self-sufficient and even if everything else is fast it'll often last long enough for a whole cycle of TR.I assume you're referring to the two main Hatterene sets, bulky CM or OTR. Bulky CM is the only one worth using alongside Galarian Darmanitan imo since Trick Room doesn't do Darm any favors. Bulky CM also checks FerroPex and hazard setters in general, which is essential for Darm to continuously pivot during the game without taking passive damage.
It prevents priority moves that target a grounded opponent. Grimmsnarl could use Prankster Reflect because it doesn’t target the opponent, but it couldn’t use Prankster Taunt against a grounded opponent. Not sure if this belongs here or in a mechanics thread, but concerning psychic terrain: does psychic terrain prevent all moves with increased priority, or only damaging moves? For example, I would assume that Grimmsnarl under psychic terrain couldn't successfully use sucker punch, but could it use reflect or a similar move to full effect?
Corviknight puts a complete halt to Excadrill's shenanigans. A Ditto countersweep or an opposing Sand Rush Excadrill is also very troublesome for Sand Teams, this makes Air Balloon all the more alluring over the sheer carnage that LO provides. Rotom, Dugtrio, and Conkeldurr also are big red flags if you see them in Team Preview. With the change of gen, what are the biggest threats for a sand team in current metagame?

Probably when Pokemon home launches.when will the mons have heal bell legally?
