Pokemon: Nidoking
name: Mix - King
move 1: ThunderBolt
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Ice Beam
move 4: Focus Punch
item: Expert Belt/Life Orb
ability: Poison Point
nature(s): Naughty/Lonely
evs: (not sure yet)

Similar to the Electivire Super Effective set. Hits 13 of the 17 types super effectively.

Name: SwampertBOAH (xD Proper name coming soon).
Swampert @ Life orb.
Rash - 252 HP/144 Att/112 Sp.att
-Substitute
-Focus punch
-Ice Beam/HP Electric
-Surf

In a sense Boah, but without the sandstorm and with better typing. 101 Subs for Blissey. Focus punch with those EVs will always OHKO Blissey when Rocks are up. Ice beam/HP Electric (Whichever you want for different purposes) and Surf for general STAB.

It's still being planned, but what do you think?

I already posted a very similar set. Life Orb would not work as it would wear you down too quickly. To make use of the Substitute, you're at least losing 35% each time, not including SR or Spikes that you may have to switch on. You don't need to run Rash I don't believe... Brave/Quiet with a small amount of Speed EVs to make up for the loss would be fine. I can't remember the number though. 30 EVs in SpAtk with neutral Special Attack + Blizzard = 1HKO on standard Garchomp, Salamence, and non-Yache Berry Dragonite.

I'm thinking about this set for Smeargle, tell me what you think guys.
Smeargle@Leftovers (Tank-Passer)
Jolly
252 Spd / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Substitute
Ingrain
Cosmic Power
Baton Passer

The strategy is great, yet simple, Sub for protection and/or passing, Ingrain in order to not to be Pseudo hazed away as well as passing it for tank for HP + Phaze protection, the last trick is CP it raises both of the Defences, and for stuff like Swampert and Cradily, this is pretty useful, you can replace it with Barrier/Amnesia if you just want one stat.

The problem is Smeagle weak defensively, even its HP isn't much, so the Sub would be easily broken, so mostly the sub is just used for 1-2 turn for the set up and pass.

Magnezone@Choice Scarf

Thunderbolt
Flash Cannon
Hidden Power [Ice]
Explosion
Nature: Naive
Evs: 56Atk/200Atk/252Spd

This is beastly. With the EVs and Max Ivs, it gets 200Atk, 346Sp.Atk and 240Spd. With the scarf attached this becomes 360, enough to outrun Salamence, Infernape, Gyarados, and some Garchomps. Its an absolute suprise and with the high base Sp.Atk it can still punch a large hole in a pokemon who stays in to EQ.

I like it.

Weezing @ Leftovers
Sassy | Levitate
252 SDef, 224 HP, 34 Def
~Curse
~Explosion
~Gyro Ball
~Payback

After a Curse, its stats are 327/324/426/x/262/84...

Um, this is for NEW sets. Maybe you like it, but this isn't the place to tell us.

MukBOAH

Muk @ Leftovers
Brave

- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Sneak

I prefer a more defensive spread for Muk. Brave Nature is the key here, his SpAtt is high enough for Fire Blast. Or you can use Naughty/Lonely if you want to outspeed things.

212 HP EV is enough to get 404 HP, maybe throw a little into attack to boost the Focus Punch and Ghost moves, 48 EV is enough to guarantee a 2HKO on Azelf and Alakazam with Shadow Sneak IIRC. 116 SpAtt EV guarantees a 2HKO on Skarm with Fire Blast.

So you are looking at 212 HP / 48 Att / 116 SpAtt / 132 Speed with Naughty / Lonely nature. Brave can throw some more into defences. Slower Muks are great for Trick Room teams.

Just to extend on the EV's here, as he got them wrong. 212 is perfect for HP, but that 48 belongs in special attack, 48 is exactly enough to 2HKO Skarm with FB.

The 116 in SpAtk was meant for Atk, bringing MukBOAH's attack to 302, meaning MukBOAH does 33% minimum with Shadow Sneak to a 36HP/252SpAtk/216Spd Azelf, making for a 3HKO (2HKO thanks to priority). This leaves 132 EV's for Spd, although I'm not sure that is the best place to put them.

I love the idea of MukBOAH, and some suggestions on improving this from
what I've currently got would be great. What exactly does MukBOAH need to outspeed? And could those 132 Spd EV's better be put toward the attack stats, helping it take down some other big threats? I'm going to run some more calcs, but any help would be great appreciated.

This is the spread so far:

212 HP/116 Atk/48 SpAtk

the 132 EV's could obligatorily go into Spd, but that would only allow it to outspeed Base 55's (Blissey) which it could do with 112 Spd EV's anyway. ANY suggestions on finishing this EV Spread is appreciated =) even if you help point out something that I missed

Don't give away my secrets!

I actually use Sleep Talk over Flash Cannon; it's not like Flash Cannon gets used that much, and I needed something to at least temporarily. (No one expects Scarfed Sleep Talked Explosion, not even me!)

SpyShield2

Porygon2@leftovers
Trace
Bold
Hp 252/sp.atk 144/112 sp.def
-Magic Coat
-Discharge
-Ice Beam
-Recover

Oh look a non Modest Porygon variation, what must I be thinking?Well this thing does surprisingly well, with the given ev's it still takes on a lot of physical threats, takes special hits way better(survives specsmence's Draco Meteor when at full health) and still dishes out hits with that awesome Boltbeam combo.I use this as a lead, Magic Coat catches tons of people of guard. At 80% it survives Scarfchomps's Outrage which is nice as everyone seems to fail to anticipate it's survival =] I advice this set to be tried as it has won me many battles.

Conversion Rising

Porygon2@ leftovers
Trace
Bold (not sure)
Evs: Not sure either T__T
- Conversion
- Magnet Rise
- Charge Beam
- Recover/ice beam

I just thought of this moveset for Porygon 2 (and possibly Z) that might work but I need help with the nature/EVs

The moveset goes like this:
The point is to convert to a electric type and magnet rise. This gives you no weaknesses and you can try to sweep like that. I chose Charge beam over T-bolt because of the SPatt boost. Although my problem is that with ice beam you risk converting to an ice type which won't help whilst with recover you get a good recovery move to last longer but you get walled by ground types completely.

So what do you think?

I tried this set as a lead... it can screw up people's strategy

Gallade @ Focus Sash
Ability: Steadfast
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
*Hypnosis
*Focus Punch
*Night Slash
*Destiny Bond

Spore punching! with a twist. Hypnosis grants you a free focus punch, and no one wants to eat a focus punch except ghosts. Night Slash will leave Gengar in pain. But anyway, if something faster than you that can OHKO you switch's in. Focus Sash will save you as you destiny bond. Now you get another Focus Punch or hypnosis. If they flinch you, they die. You can probably screw 2 pokemon with this as a lead.

Uh if Focus Sash makes you survive...then the other poke wouldn't be taken down with it...it doesn't make...sense...Did you actually even attempt to try this out

No, Focus Sash can stop you getting OHKO'd, so:

1) You get a chance to sleep faster opponents
2) If you have 1HP left, then you can safely assume you are going to die next turn.

Please don't call it MukBOAH lol.

I think you need to outspeed walls that can ruin it.
Blissey can T-wave you (not that bad) and Sing you (fucked).
Dusknoir can WoW you, but you just need to invest 8 EV points to outspeed it if you have a negative nature.
Weezing is bit thougher since he is faster, so you can just carry a Heatran to pwn it.

You can invest more in Sp. Atk. for using Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse or maybe Thunder/bolt.

The only other thing worth mencioning is Asplosion, with some EV's in Attack can do some damage, but even with 248 EV points and positive nature, it only does 73.87% - 86.94% to 252/252+ Cresselia.

Ursaring @ Flame Orb
Guts, Brave
-Facade
-Close Combat
-Fire Punch
-Night Slash

EVs: 252 hp/252 atk/6 def

Trick Room abuser Ursaring. With a Guts boost and a 140 BP STAB move in Facade (after burn of course) Ursaring is 3HKOing Skarmory with Facade, meanwhile 2HKOing with Fire Punch. It rapes to say the very least.

That's not a new idea, Burn Orb Ursaring has been thought of before. There is nothing new or creative about slapping a Burn Orb on a Guts user, nor is there anything about giving a Poke a -Speed Nature with no EVs to make it a Trick Room user.

Alakazam@Focus Sash
Timid
252 Speed/252 Sp Attack/4Hp

Knock Off
Protect/Shadow Ball
Focus blast
Psychic

Lead Alakazam.Protect to scout movesets, then Knock off items. If Starter can kill Alakazam,Keep it in and then take the hit and Zam KOs it.

NOT SO CREATIVE, but works for me

Garchomp@lifeorb
Naughty
16 Atk / 252 SpA / 240 Spe

Draco Meteor
Outrage
Fire Blast
Earthquake

WHen set up right, always takes somthing down. Set up Rock or Spikes, and make sure nothing can out speed it and KO. IT needs all the HP it can get. Bring in on Slow thing, and earthquake or Fire Blast, depending on type. If they switch into physical wall, Rip thier head off with Draco Meteor. Once all threats are gone, Rape the last things with outrage.

Pokemon: Blastoise
Name: SubPuncher
Move 1: Substitute
Move 2: Focus Punch
Move 3: Aqua Jet
Move 4: Avalanche
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/252 ATK/6 Def

not sure about the nature, fourth move, and EVs. Wish Blastoise had more HP

Well taunt on tran isn't entirely new (this idea was sorta inspired by Aldaron's old tauntran). but when coupled with toxic it becomes a fairly good wall breaker/poisoner from my experience.

Heatran @ Life Orb
Modest
252 sp atk, 252 speed, 6 hp
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Toxic
-Taunt

Come in on walls such as Umbreon, Cresselia (who's on like every team lol), etc and taunt them to stop their ways of calm minding, cursing, baton passing, recovering etc. Now you can 2HKO either of them with LO Fire Blast. Or poison them if you choose. The reason why toxic works well on Heatran is because it's part steel and has Fire Blast and Earth Power to tell Poison and Steel types to stay away. You can also poison those pesky Gardevoir switch ins that try to trace your Flash Fire. Another cool thing is that due to being a steel type Heatran is unaffected by synchronize poisoning him. Pokemon that usually take advantage of poison such as Breloom and Heracross won't switch in because of fire blast (ok lol, pretty much goes for every heatran but whatever). So you're pretty much guaranteed to poison something without any negative side effects or something blocking it, unless they switch in a steel type for some weird reason. most poison types don't like taking fire blasts off of such a high sp atk stat. Except tentacruel who gets hit by earth power pretty hard.

Like metal sound tran, this works pretty good at terrorizing noobs that try to copy Obi's stall team on Shoddy. And of course this counters other walls such as skarm, forretress, obibliss, Dusknoir, Uxie, etc (I guess every heatran with life orb or specs counters most of these but whatever). I just thought this was a cool set regardless because you don't have to worry about steels/gut pokemon/poisons/poison heal pokemon/synchronize pokes, not like they would switch in, but you're still pretty much guaranteed a toxic because of that. If you can switch in on something that doesn't pose a threat to heatran before using toxic.

I suppose Heatran could run more HP EVs for durablity against such walls, but I haven't ran any specific damage calcs yet so I just run max speed for now.

Yeah, wouldn't a more supporting, defensive set as this like HP or SpDef EVs?

I don't quite know where speed is helping you. All you need to do is outrun Bliss and Cress which you can do with 0 EVs. Otherwise you're just catching switches.

I really like the concept of Heatran as tanky as all hell with Taunt. And his Ground weakness and Fire immunity (and damn near Ice immunity) can easily be turned into free turns.

EDIT: Your signature is hilariously appropriate for a defensive Fire/Steel.

No 4x weakness to ground can be a wall never sorry.

Fortress wants a word with you.

I like the idea of a dedicated Traunttran. All the ohter Traunt veriants so far have just had taunt tacked-on to stop Blissey...
