Yeah, but I am not counting 're-issues' for shit - if the song is not on the original studio album, then it is just random and superfluous! I mean, it is fine if it is like a stand-alone single or something, I just think I had thought it was on an album and had it classified incorrectly as such

Already did that I'm afraid :(

David Arkenstone - Below the Ocean: Spirit of Atlantis.

Sure New Age artists give corny as hell names to their tracks, but it still doesn't stop most of them from being great. I especially like the ethnic chants towards the end of this one.

Dillinger Escape Plan - The Running Board

First listen through Calculating Infinity. This album is fucking with my mind. I don't know whether to love or hate this. I don't like the vocals much though.

Girl Talk - Night Ripper (album)

Notable moments of genius: the last 25 seconds of Hold Up, where samples of Murphy Lee's Hold Up suddenly get sideswiped and taken over by a chopped up sample of the guitar solo from Weezer's Say It Ain't So; Minute By Minute, which features samples from Ying Yang Twins' Badd melting into the opening countdown from Neutral Milk Hotel's Holland, 1945; the second half of Smash Your Head, where Funkmaster Flex samples are layered over a distorted version of Elton John's ballad Tiny Dancer; Bounce That, rocking hip-hop samples over the guitar riff from LCD Soundsystem's Daft Punk Is Playing At My House; and finally the beginning of Peak Out, a mix of Eminem, 2 Live Crew, and Pavement's Cut Your Hair!

Even if you don't read that list, check out Girl Talk it will make you a better person!

edit: m0nkfish if you like chromeo you should definitely check out MSTRKRFT or Depth Affect!

Megadeth-Holy Wars... The Punishment Due

Mustaine knows how to write some great music.

fucking hell yeah

altmer, I meant universally issued and on the first installment..which basically makes it just another track - bonus tracks are a gimmick, and as the musical elitist that I am, I am going to shove them aside into another folder, not the CD it is arbitrarily, and usually posthumously, assigned to!
