Ice Pick is like crab hammer but only by high critical hit ratio. I like it because it is physical and attack is his highest stat. Plus STAB. If he was real he would OU.

And one more thing. Does he have a name?

I really don't think that we needed to give this guy his own special move. We're going overboard here. It's enough that we created an ability in Mountaineer. We should really draw the line before creating special moves.

Really, I highly suggest this poll is trashed. We don't need this thing to be even more overpowered than it already is, and with a nice movepool, killer sprite options, two awesome abilities, and generally great statistics, this doesn't need any more.

Heh, maybe we were just a wee bit overzealous on this. :3

I'd be fine being subject to Ice Punch. We are kinda pushing the buttons a bit here. :P

how about
rain of ice blades (or something)
ice type
bp: 95
accuracy: 90
pp: 10
physical
creates a blizzard upon attack for 5 turns?

then it would be used in a hail team, or stop those pesky sand streamers?
something like that

I think just having any attack that does damage as well as whip up a weather effect is just not needed.

why the HELL doesn't this thing get megahorn. really, tell me what that thing is on his head, it's almost as retarded as snorlax not getting slack off.

I voted physical. I was thinking of a physical ice version of discharge/lava plume, 80 bp and 30% of freeze, or maybe that would be kinda broken.

gah...

This seems to have gotten way out of hand. Megahorn is gone because it has been decided that Megahorn is too powerful. Same thing is going to happen with most of the moves being suggested. I mean, 100% chance of Freeze is bad no matter what. As is causing Hail and attacking all at once.

I think we are fine as we are. Just give it the Order moves, and it has everything you could want from it.

Why don't we just go with a Physical Ice-type copy of Leaf Blade???

it would be relatively balanced, and high crit ratio is cool. Or if we have to we could drop base down to 80. Or if we really have to I suppose we go down to 70 like slash/night slash/psycho cut/etc...

But the Leaf Blade/Blaze Kick type thing would be cool.

Icy Blades
80 or 90 or even 85 BP
high crit ratio (same as leaf blade)
100% acc if 80 base power, 95% acc if 85, 90% acc if 90

Description: Uses sharp, icy shard/wings/blades to slice at the foe.

Hey, who said the new move had to be powerful?

Icicle
Physical
BP: 30
Acc: --

Info: "An attack that always hits. Works even if protect is used."

Not terribly broken and can potentially ruin orotect-whoring Ninjasks, but that's about it. :(

make the custome move be based upon the higher attack stat, whichever one it turns out to be.
that means it can be a physical or special move

*Voted physical*

Ummm... maaaayyybe-

Frosdash-

BP- 80
Acc- 95

Description- The user charges at the opponent while covered in an extremely cold icy aura.

Effect- If the user hits an Ice Type pokemon, it's speed raises by 25%. If the user hits a Fire/Steel type, the user gets burned/frozen. If the user misses, it takes 1/4 of its own HP.

Effect #2- Target may become frozen.
Effect #2 rate- 20%

I see a 90% chance of this being a broken move, but, what the heck?

The only reason to start making attacks is if we start to tackle multiple creations. If we tried to create a new generation, I'd be all for it. But, we are creating one Pokemon, one single Pokemon, with the intent to create something plausible. We do not need to make up an entirely new move here.

I agree with Hyra -- if we really want to give this something that goes beyond X-Scissor and Ice Punch, give it Attack Order. I think it's a great compromise.

Honestly, I'm not trying to reign on anyone's parade here, but it just feels like the credibility and downright uniqueness of this process has been tarnished by the prospect of creating a whole new move. I know that I, personally, have had my interest in these polls peek with the creation of the art and sprites and nearly crumble altogether with this poll, alone.

Maybe I'm alone, here, but I just feel like it is my duty as a part of the community to express how I feel.

I agree with FutureSuperstar. We already gave this thing its own unique ability. I think that we should put off giving it any new moves until we (if we do) get to the point where we make our own generation. If that time ever comes, we can always revise these pogeys.

I see where you're going with this.

I'm more worried on the whole movepool in general. Do we know all the TMs and level up moves he'll get?

For the people who are saying we should give it Attack Order and/or success, what vaild reason is there that this thing even deserve or could even pull of a move like that?

Edit: I also said something about it learning Hammer Arm a sub for an Fighting Move. Any opinions on it?
