Now, don't not read this because of my last Warstory. This is a very quick yet suprising and fun battle. Please read it.

REFEREE: Commence!

YukiJudai sent out Electivire (lvl 100 Electivire ?).
hauntershadow92 sent out Weavile (lvl 100 Weavile ?).
Weavile is exerting its pressure!
hauntershadow92 switched in Drifblim (lvl 100 Drifblim ?).
Electivire used Psychic.
A critical hit!
Drifblim lost 37% of its health.
So far my prediction of a fighting move was wrong. But it still didn't do much.

Announcer: The atmosphere here is chilling. Both sides stand with full teams. Which way will it go?


tyson_blue has entered the room.

Electivire used Psychic.
Drifblim lost 19% of its health.
Drifblim used Substitute.
Drifblim lost 25% of its health.
Drifblim made a substitute!
Drifblim's Salac Berry raised its speed!
Drifblim lost its burden!
So far so good. Sub hasn't been broken and i now have triple speed. I decided to use my secret weapon early in the game, for a few reasons and good thing i did.

Announcer: Things are starting to get heated up! Driftblim now can outspeed Electivire. Is it worth it? How will hauntershadow face his own weakness???

Drifblim used Baton Pass.
hauntershadow92 switched in Havoc (lvl 100 Charizard ?).
Electivire used Earthquake.
It doesn't affect Havoc...
The substitute took damage for Havoc!
Weird choice, considering Driftblim isn't affected by EQ too.... Plan A is off to a great start. I got my sub and my speed.

Announcer: Driftblim has now passed all of its speed AND its untouched Substitute to Charizard. The oponents move failed as an added bonus for Haunter!

Havoc used Belly Drum.
Havoc lost 50% of its health.
Havoc's attack was raised.
Electivire used Earthquake.
It doesn't affect Havoc...
The substitute took damage for Havoc!
My atack is maxed and i have 3 speed boosts under my belt. Time to bring this Vire down!

Announcer: Still nothing has come from the Blue side. The red side seems to be planning something.....something devious...

Havoc used Double-edge.
Electivire lost 171% of its health.
YukiJudai's Electivire fainted.
Havoc was hit by recoil!
Havoc lost 12% of its health.
Badabing

Announcer: Blue side has yet to pull off an attack! Red is starting to get risky!

YukiJudai switched in Blaziken (lvl 100 Blaziken ?).
Havoc used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
Blaziken lost 278% of its health.
YukiJudai's Blaziken fainted.
Badaboom

Announcer: Impressive hit from the Red side. Blue is dissapointing me and my un-biased opinion ;) The score now is 6-4 Red!

YukiJudai switched in Garchomp (lvl 100 Garchomp ?).
Havoc used Double-edge.
Garchomp lost 107% of its health.
YukiJudai's Garchomp fainted.
Havoc was hit by recoil!
Havoc lost 16% of its health.
Havoc's Salac Berry raised its speed!
Multikill!

Announcer: Red side is sweeping the floor. Will this continue? Will Blue ever get a hit in? Havoc so far has Max attack and +4 speed, how will Blue confront this terror?

YukiJudai switched in Gengar (lvl 100 Gengar ?).
Havoc used Fire Punch.
Gengar lost 261% of its health.
YukiJudai's Gengar fainted.
Slayer!

Announcer: Charizard is definatly living up to the name of "Havoc"!

Havoc used Fire Punch.
It's super effective!
Torterra lost 359% of its health.
YukiJudai's Torterra fainted.
OVERKILL!

Announcer: That was definatly an overkill, lol. 6-1 Red side!

Havoc used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
Empoleon lost 270% of its health.

-YukiJudai for not leaving in the middle like most people do once i set up Havoc properly and for a great game!

Slops:
-Not being able to come up with better phrases after each turn
-Not being able to think of other slops
-OHKO my favorite Pokemon: Gengar, SORRY!

Well I hope you all enjoyed Havoc. This is the 2nd time that happen, but 1st time a full team was all OHKOed. Well i hope this was exciting enough for you!
 
is this not your second warstory today? o.O
set up sweeps usually don't make good warstories. and why the hell was he using eq on charizard. it's not like there was even the slightest chance you would switch out a charizard+3 speed and an untouched sub. this is one of the worst warstories I've read. your other one was a lot better, even though you lost. interesting idea though, just the warstory was bad.
 
I think I've seen Yuki on youtube, and I wouldn't think he would have been that stupid with earthquake >.<

Anyways, nice Belly Zard sweep.
 
Another Bellyzard sweep. Pretty one-sided match. it's pretty good, but msot Smogonites prefer to read really close matches, myself included. Next warstory you post, keep it interesting by choosing a very close, tense match to write about.

you can, it's just very strange to have two worthwile battles in a day. and when I say worthwile I mean worth posting. IMO this wasn't worth posting anyways.

edit: I agree with skiddle, that's why your first one was much better than this.
 
Ehh.... I found this quite boring, nothing interesting happened, or no nail bitting moments.

A Domination win is not as interesting as a "Skin of your teeth" Win
 
@ Lawman: I'm pretty sure you're thinking of YukiJaden or whoever.

@ OP, your opponent was on crack or something, they earthquaked twice on a +3 speed full subbed bellizard, who would ever switch with that? Also, this was just a boring old sweep, not worthy of a mention at all, try to find more intense, mind boggling(lol), stories before posting it up.

lawman was thinking of YukiJadenSurvives. he's much better than the Yuki in this battle.

iirc, warstories are supposed to be close, interesting matches. Hell, I can even make my 6-0 wins over surprise OU n00bs interesting.

no you can't. nobody can, unless they swept the opponent with wurmple, unown, or feebas. that's why nobody posts 6-0's
 
Follow their ^ advice. Smogoners want excitement and tension not a bellyzard sweep on someone who would eq a flying type. But I can't say you don't have guts posting two warstories in a day even after the first was locked. So just keep up the spirit and write about a close battle.
 
Umm, congratulations. You just showed us a warstory that was a total of 10 turns. If you can't think of any other slops, then no offense, but you need to get some sleep.

These kinds of stories are the ones that make me wish the approval rule was reinstated again...
 
So, once again, I comment on your warstory.

This IMO was worse than the other one. Your opponent was playing stupid, and you got a 6-0 victory...not something that needs to be posted.
 
Lets have a quick analysis of the first 2 attacks your opponent used.
1) Pychic on a Weavilve.
2) Earthquake on a Driftblim

and then maybe for the third,
3) Earthquake on a Charizard.

Notice anything similar? Electivire could have SE hit all 3 of them with BrickBreak and ThunderPunch. This is definitely not warstory-able.
 
Your format was much, much better than the first one.

However, it was the battle itself that brought this one down. Think about it this way: what type of warstory would you want to read? You want to read warstories that teach you something about the game, that keep you guessing about the outcome, that show amazing or innovative strategies and smart prediction. One pokemon sweeps, battles where the opponents fight poorly or battles where luck beats skill are not interesting to read.

It might be a good idea to take awhile off from writing warstories and to have a few battles. Wait a few weeks then write up the battle that was the most exciting over that time period. I promise that it will get a better response.
