You might be able to do that with Pokesav, but I doubt that there would be a code for it.
Here's something I've been wondering for the longest time and have been quite frustrated about it oftentimes: I have 2 parents where there IVs are both 31/31/x/x/x/31 and in this case, the father is a male rhydon and the mother is an adamant kangaskhan holding everstone. I would only do IV battles where the offsprings were adamant and had level 1 stats of 13/7/6/x/6/7 and at least alert to sounds or likes to thrash about or similar flawless description. To make a long story short, I've lost count of how many IV battles I've done involving these, but it seemed to take forever where the kangaskhan I was checking had 31/31/x/x/x/31 at least. In most cases it was x/31/x/x/x/31 at least but the HP stat seemed like it was behaving randomly even in most other cases where there was at least one flawless attack or speed IV.
Could it be that the HP IV is not affected based on either parent, or just a harder random?
HP and Defense IVs are harder to inherit from the parents than the other IVs. This is different from the other games (see RSFRLG IV breeding), where each IV has the same percentage of being transferred to the baby (16.67%). The percentages for Emerald (and DP) are as follows (considering also the fact that the random IVs generated for the baby can end up to be the same as that of one of the parent's IVs):
HP: 8.02% chance of being inherited
Atk: 19.55% chance of being inherited
Def: 13.78% chance of being inherited
SpAtk: 19.55% chance of being inherited
SpDef: 19.55% chance of being inherited
Speed: 19.55% chance of being inherited
This means that in EDP, the Attack, Speed, Special Attack and Special Defense IVs have a better probability of being passed to the baby than in RSFRLG, while the HP and Defense IVs have a worse probability of being passed to the baby than in RSFRLG.
SUMMARY: Emerald, Diamond and Pearl
1. The baby’s IVs are created at random.
2. Then a random IV is passed from one of the parents to the baby. The previous IV is overwritten.
3. Another random IV from Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed is passed from one of the parents to the baby. The previous IV is overwritten.
4. Finally, another random IV from Attack, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed is passed from one of the parents to the baby. The previous IV is overwritten.
That's why it's better to breed for one of the defenses and to try to get HP at random.Breeding with 3 easy-to-pass stats results in 1 in 23 eggs to get the 3 flawlesses.I think 31/31/x/x/x/31 is like 1 in 65 Eggs with triple flawless parents, You'd have to be quite lucky to get that with good defences.
Is there an AR code for checking IVs?
If so anyone have it?
this can be checked to a degree using psypokes, it has a chart down the bottom that shows the lvl 50 and 100 stats of it with nature and other stuff
Edit: Also how are hack tests done?
Thanks, does anyone know another way because some of the pokemon I need to check are not going to be lv 50.
Perhaps the game recalcs the value determining the abillity when a pokémon from an ADV game evolves.SO CONFUSED
my horse has the ability swift swim, when it evolves into seadra, it has poison point, but when it evolves into Kingdra....BAM it gets sniper
WTF is going on!
