In Lament's terms (i.e x/x/x/x/x/x), can someone tell me the IV Range necessary when breeding for a HP Fire Metagross?

31 / 31 / 30 / 30 / 14 / 31

I know that much because I bred a 31 / 31 / 30 / 30 / 13 / 31 Modest one, and told it woulda been awesome if it had that extra stat point

Do traded Pokémon that aren't nicknamed change name when they evolve?
i.e. Would a traded Haunter's name stay as "Haunter" when it evolved to a Gengar, or would it change to "Gengar?"

Its name would stay that same. The nickname will stay. IT WON'T change to Gengar.
I'm gonna have to say otherwise. I know from experience that traded, non-nicknamed Pokemon change name when they evolve. Why else would trade threads offer UT versions of stuff? I'm sure "GASTLY" the Gengar would be popular lol.

A while back, I got a Japanese Cherubi from the GTS. When it evolved, it changed to the usual "CHERRIM" that most Cherrims have for their name. Fun little anecdote that goes to show that even foreign un-named Pokemon change name on evolution.

Technically its name is Gastly, just in a different language. So it would evolve to Haunter being in an american cartridrge.

If I suggest a good one, do i get a free one?

How about ROCKNSLOW :P

Sure, just boot up shoddy, type in "rhy"...

Ok, another question. I need a good wallbreaker for my team. Right now I'm using mixed Absol, but quite frankly it sucks in OU... What are my options apart from Mixmence, Boah and Chain chomp?

Basicly my team stratergy is to pass TR to RHy with Bronzong or Slowbro, than after working out what they have to wall Rhy and hopefully killing something I pack Rhy away, work on killing the Rhyperior counter, then go on another rampage. This Poke should be able to counter Rhyperiors counters even in TR or not.

The person was asking if a traded Pokemon without a nickname would change name, and you said that the name wouldn't change in that case. I find my Cherrim with a Japanese OT but a proper name funny.

Umm you just named the most prominent wall breakers! You could go with Electivire, Lucario, Gengar (McGar!!!!)

I was talking about your post, but I think I'm misunderstanding you. Some Americans own copies of japenese d/p's. Maybe it was them? lol W/E

I'll give Mc'gar a go since I need another fighting and Ground immunity. It'll also let me go Heatproof on Bronzong is i'm feeling ballsey XD

Is Heatproof really worth it? I mean, it's basically not only giving up an immunity for a resistance (stacking with a weakness to make a neutral), but it's also giving up Spikes immunity, which means the second that Forretress comes out, people can see that your Bronzong isn't Levitate. I tested out Heatproof, and people can still do a lot of damage to Bronzong with fire attacks, and you lose the benefit of heatproof immediately.

Lol, Anyone got a spare Mc Gar moveset and EV spread handy? It ain't in the analysis.

Jenigmat, you mistake the role of my Bronzong for a tank.
