Lol. I was barely (20) minutes too late with the new item because I was retyping up "Megas For All". Oh well. I'll just use it for Slate 7. Still going to edit my last post only because in my tired and rushed insanity yesterday, I forgot Vaporeon already got Flip Turn despite checking it twice that morning--ugh. That's all I'm touching though, don't worry.

I do have a question about an entry, but since I don't want to influence voting beyond saying "If you're voting for Gorilla Tactics at all, please vote for Ema Skye's version", I'll save my question until after. That said, I do feel like the change to G-Luke's Forest's Curse / Trick-or-Treat is, uh, missing an actual effect on Turn 1 unless I am still super out of it and misreading something there; I'll edit this line out if I'm wrong.

Anyway, here my (rambling) votes. Have a good, safe weekend everyone:

1. Fairy Dustup (Self-Vote)
2. Acidic Fists
3. Skitter Smack & Lunge [adjustments]
4. Flintspike
5. Poison Dart
6. G-Luke's Jaw Lock [adjustment]

1. Pillow
2. megaspoopy000's Adrenaline Orb [adjustment]
3. Safety Policy
4. Naronex's adjusting Light Ball to affect Mimikyu too
5. Power Herb [adjustment]
6. Magmarizer / Electrizer [adjustments]

1. Leaf Guard [adjustment] (Self-Vote)
2. Ema Skye's Gorilla Tactics [adjustment]
3. Scouting
4. Status Quo
5. Justified [adjustment]
6. Counterfeit

1. Eevolutions (Self-Vote)
2. Wormadam forms
3. Armaldo, Prince of Cuteness and Conquerer of Cowards
4. Magmortar II: Electivire Boogaloo
5. Torterra gravitates more buffs its way
6. Regileki & Regidrago funny encore time
It does what it does in standard but affects all Pokemon on the field. Then turn 2 does the boost.

Those who have won:
Name: Poison Dart
Power: 40
Accuracy: --
PP: 10
Category:
Physical.png

Type:
Poison.png

Effect: Usually goes first. Can't miss. 10% chance to poison the foe.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Protect, Mirror
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :beedrill::nidoking::slowbro-galar::toxapex::arbok::ariados::dustox::nidoqueen::nihilego::seviper::tentacruel::venomoth::victreebel::scolipede::crobat::roserade::toxtricity::drapion::toxicroak::garbodor::qwilfish::skuntank::poipole::gliscor::sandslash::sandslash-alola::cacturne::vespiquen::breloom::decidueye::buzzwole::fearow::heracross::omastar:
Justification: Priority moves are cool, but when subbing one, you should be smart about what type you make it. With the right distribution, pretty much any type could work, but I think it's more interesting to looking at moves of poor offensive typings, like Bullet Punch. Poison Dart here is very similar to Bullet Punch in that Poison is a pretty bad offensive typing, but it's super effective against Fairy, which instantly makes it extremely relevant. This is especially true when you consider that one of the best offensive mons in the tier is Tapu Koko, a fast Fairy-type. This allows Pokémon like Nidoking (who also gets the Sheer Force boost on it), Toxicroak, and Drapion (who gets a priority move to go along with Merciless crits) to revenge kill Koko consistently, which is especially cool for Nidoking since it doesn't fear most Poison switch-ins like Landorus or Ferrothorn. This move being walled by Steel-types is still something to consider, so you have to be smart about using it, but overall, I think a Poison-type priority could be super interesting.
Name: Acidic Fists
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10
Category:
Physical.png

Type:
Poison.png

Effect: Breaks screens, 10% poison chance.
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Mirror, Protect, Punch
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :accelgor::drapion::garbodor::goodra::melmetal::muk::muk-alola::nidoking::pangoro::reuniclus::swalot::toxicroak:
Justification: Amazing counterplay to the currently dominant screens HO teams. Basically Brick Break but stuff actually wants to run it, plus it hits Tapu Koko, the main setter, super effectively. Also has the bonus of being the strongest non-Fighting punch move.
Name: Power Herb
Effect: Old effect + Holder's move that require a recharge turn don't require one. Single use.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: Same as before
Justification: This way, some of the powerful nuke moves ala Giga Impact/Hyper Beam will have a way to be used.
Effect: Restores 1/8th of the Pokemon's HP if it is asleep at the start of the turn. As long as this Pokemon is asleep, it can attack with a random move (acts like Sleep Talk).
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10 and puts to sleep
Justification: Sleep is an oppressive status condition so this provides some counterplay. Could be really fun on Rest mons (no longer needing to give up a slot for Sleep Talk) or Komala (if you like RNG).
Name: Reaper Cloth :reaper_cloth:
Effect: If the holder is Ghost-type, they heal 1/16th of their max HP at the end of each turn and the item is unaffected Knock Off (including the boosted damage). Otherwise, the holder cannot use the same move over 2 turns.
Can Be Knocked Off: If the user is Ghost-type, no.
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 100
Justification: Defensive Ghost-types (outside of Mega Sableye) just aren't very good in the current metagame thanks to a crippling Knock-Off weakness and a generally poor selection of Fat Ghosts to choose from. This item fixes the Knock Off weakness to a degree while also functioning as Leftovers, so some fatter ghosts like SubTox Aegislash, Palossand, and (with the buffed ability) Runerigus could see use. Additionally, it has a Black Sludge-esque downside for non-Ghost holders, but I don't think a permanent Torment effect is nearly as crippling as losing 1/8th HP per turn. Could still be a neat Trick punish at least.
Name: Magma Armor
Effect: Current effect + The Pokemon takes 50% less damage from Ice and Water type moves and takes no damage from hail.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current distribution + Turtonator, Heatran
Justification: This ability needs a buff. The idea came from Magcargo's Pokedex entry that states that water is vaporized on contact, and from Magma Armor's existing effect. But the true boon in this ability may be in supporting hail teams, as it allows these Pokemon to cover their teammate's weaknesses while not being harmed by the hail themselves.
Name: Leaf Guard [adjustment]
Effect: "Flying-type and Bug-type moves against this Pokémon deal damage with a halved attacking stat. In Sun, this Pokémon cannot be statused by other Pokémon or flinched."
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: All that mons that originally get at least, including :leafeon: and :zarude:. Unsure if any non-Grass mons can reasonably get this, much less want it. Maybe :oranguru:?

Justification: The Leaf Guard is a terrible ability, and even when weather was infinite, it wasn't great despite Game Freak seeing fit to make it so you can't use with Rest with it. Good job, Game Freak. Leaf Guard Pokémon were such defensive terrors that they needed to be hampered even more.

As it is, besides undoing that bit of stupidity (and a bit of "screw you" to Lopunny-Mega even though it's faster than all of the Leaf Guard mons), I figured making this "Thick Fat but for things that physically eat leaves" made the most sense if Bug hardly needed to be nerfed even with Buzz Off around now. At the very least this makes Leaf Guard actually good on both :leafeon: and :zarude: even if I'm unsure if anything else that already has would want to use it outside of maybe :lilligant:. Just those two might be enough though. (Maybe we can be slightly kind to :tropius:'s useless self though?)
Name: Soul Link
Effect: Pokémon that make contact with this Pokémon have the Ghost-type added to their existing typings until they switch out (Trick-or-Treat effect)
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :gengar-mega::banette::froslass::spiritomb::chandelure::absol-mega::drapion::hoopa::hoopa-unbound:
Justification: Nerfing Shadow Tag down to legal levels (but with a different name this time because someone else subbed a Shadow Tag nerf) by making it a neat way to punish contact, making it way easier to take down the opponent the next turn with your Ghost or Dark STAB. Pairs especially well with Spiritomb, Mega Absol, and Drapion's Pursuit.
Name: Wandering Spirit
Effect: When the user switches in, they swap this ability with the opponent's.
Permanent: Yes
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability:
867.png
563.png
442.png

Justification: It's Pillage from FEUU! This ability is supremely useful for sniping Regenerator, Intimidate, Magic Bounce, really anything. It is essentially a better Trace, as it shuts down the opponent's ability in the process. I could easily see at least one of these abusers becoming viable to some degree (probably Runerigus thanks to SR access and Arid Absorption).
Name: Archeops
567.png

Abilities: Defeatist | Early Bird
New Moves: Brave Bird, Hurricane
Justification: WHY HAS IT NOT WON YET GRRRR WOOF WOOF
:sm/celesteela:
Name: Celesteela
Type: Steel / Flying
Abilities: Beast Boost / Flare Boost (Hidden)
New Moves: Aeroblast, Thunderbolt
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Celesteela is in a bit of a weird place. Its stats and typing are great, but its lack of recovery and strong Flying-type moves put it in an awkward spot compared to Corviknight and Skarmory. This aims to give it a niche as a more offensive Pokémon. Flare Boost is great as flavour, since it's a giant rocket, while Aeroblast finally gives it a better Flying STAB than Air Slash. Thunderbolt is a fun new coverage option alongside the Flamethrower it already has.
:sm/zarude: :sm/zarude-dada:
Name: Zarude | Zarude-Dada
Type: Grass / Dark
Abilities: Natural Cure (Zarude) | Parental Bond (Zarude-Dada)
New Moves: None
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Natural Cure over Leaf Guard is a tiny bump for standard Zarude, essentially making it an even better status absorber even if you choose not to run Jungle Healing. Zarude-Dada, though, picks up an extremely nice new Ability in Parental Bond. Fun fact: Zarude and Mega Kangaskhan have uncannily similar stats. Zarude, however, lacks the things that broke Mega Kangaskhan (Seismic Toss and to a much lesser extent Power-Up Punch), so instead Parental Bond is mostly a damage increase for it, one that it very much appreciates. Regular Zarude can stay comfortably in its present UU niche, while Zarude-Dada could legitimately break into OU.

Now we'll start the sixth 24 hour Distribution/Discussion Phase. During this phase, you can discuss what mons should and shouldn't get the newly added moves and abilities. The council will use your feedback and create a final list. After that, the next submission phase will start immediately.

It's recommended that you use the Discord to discuss distribution (in #distribution-discussion), though you can use this thread as well. See you there!

WOOOOO!!!! ARCHEOPS WON!
Anyways, I don't really have many ideas for distributing Magma Armor...I do think I have some. Keep the distribution the same with new mons getting it being The Magby line as a secondary ability (Because Magmortar got Neutralizing Gas as a hidden ability), Heatran (Obviously), and Turtonator. But that's really it.
The rest of the distribution is really up to the council, so I don't have much else to have.

Same sort of deal as the last few slates, we made a comprehensive list (that even took longer than usual this time), so I'm gonna reveal it and start subs now but if anyone has any objections or additions, then they can still express them for the next 24 hours.

With that done, here's the results

Poison Dart - :Weedle::Nidoran-M::Slowbro-Galar::Mareanie::Ekans::Spinarak::Wurmple::Nidoran-F::Nihilego::Seviper::Tentacool::Venonat::Victreebel::Venipede::Zubat::Roselia::Toxtricity::Toxtricity-Low-Key::Skorupi::Croagunk::Trubbish::Qwilfish::Stunky::Poipole::Gligar::Sandshrew::Sandshrew-Alola::Cacnea::Vespiquen::Breloom::Decidueye::Buzzwole::Spearow::Heracross::Omastar::Accelgor::Pincurchin::Seismitoad::Froakie::Skrelp::Cloyster::Grapploct::Octillery::Frillish:

Wandering Spirit - Old Distribution + :Spiritomb:(replaces Infiltrator) :Spectrier: :Cofagrigus: :Cacturne:(replaces Sand Veil) :Marowak:(replaces Rock Head) :Rotom: :Hoopa:

Because it received Leaf Guard over Serene Grace, we will be (tentatively) unbanning Shaymin-Sky. I would REALLY like to hear thoughts on this, so please let me hear them before the slate goes live

With that done, submissions for Slate 7 are now open!

Type:
Fire.png

Effect: Fails if the target is attacking.
Priority: 2
Flags: Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Justification: Sucker Punch for status. Has the distinction of being the only priority Fire-type move, putting itself in a similar playing field as Sucker Punch. Flavor is pretty broad, might narrow it if I think of anything, but tons of mons love having this, and it's a powerful stallbreaking tool.
Name: Concussion
Effect: While this Pokemon is active, opposing Pokemon cannot use their items.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :bewear::buzzwole::krookodile::pangoro::scrafty::terrakion::darmanitan-galar:
Justification: A classic FELT ability. Disabling boots is great for dissuading threats such as Cinderace, and for keeping various defoggers from getting rid of stacked hazards. Plus, disabling Leftovers is great for wallbreaking, and avoiding Rocky Helmet chip is always great on physical attackers. Also Concussion Terrakion goes hard, feel free to screenshot.
Name: Cursed Belt
Effect: When the holder uses a status move, this item disables it. If the holder has a move disabled, its attacks deal 1.3x damage.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: This one is very strong, but I believe it's in a healthy way. Gives a damageless Life Orb boost at the cost of a moveslot and a setup turn, but setup sweepers and the like absolutely love it, and Speed Boost mons like Blaziken who already run Protect go absolutely wild. Still easily counterplayed and the mons that would usually run it are easy to force out, thus removing the item's effect until they use another status move. Also provides a way to punish Cursed Body.
worms will be back. just wanna push the dodo this slate

:ss/dodrio:
Name: Dodrio
Type:
Ground.png
Flying.png

Abilities: Analytic / Early Bird / Moody
New Moves: Earthquake, High Horsepower, Triple Axel
Removed Moves:
Justification: Lando 2. Absolutely insane buffs to typing, ability, and movepool easily catapult it into OU (and yes, it has flavor for all of this. Ask me about it if you're wondering), with pseudo-Speed Boost in tandem with Swords Dance allowing for terrifying sweeping sets, or Analytic providing a great immediate power boost to all of its moves, allowing it to take advantage of the switches it forces. Near-perfect coverage in BB/EQ/Axel is great, and Ground/Flying is an amazing typing both offensively and defensively. Still has obnoxiously low bulk, and doesn't hit particularly hard unboosted, but while it might be hard to get going, it easily has the tools to become a staple.

got some cool ideas maybe

Shaymin/Shaymin-Sky
:ss/shaymin::ss/shaymin-sky:
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Taunt, Defog
Description: Adds some stallbreaking options to the new legal uber. Yoshiblaze came up with Defog on Shaymin so that is there as well.

Gengar +Mega
:ss/gengar::ss/gengar-mega:
Ability Changes: Levitate (Mega: Cursed Body)
Description: Gengar misses levitate & giving it back helps it out greatly as it now has a useful ability. Soul Link & Wandering Spirit make sense to give to Gengar-Mega but since they just got given to pokemon, if it was to happen, it would have happened. Since it didn't, I'll just give Gengar-Mega Cursed Body to knock it down to OU. Is it even good now? I'm not sure.

Ugh. Too slow with my distribution post due to other things, so I'll spare everyone the lengthy version, and say that I don't have any real objections to what got what, found it weird that Leaf Guard won even though I'm glad that the suggestion to give it to :shaymin-sky: is something other people thought of too, and thought that Magma Armor could fit :solrock: and maybe :camerupt-mega: (even though it actually uses Sheer Force) and Wandering Spirit could fit :drifblim: too even if it wouldn't really massively benefit those particular mons. (Also wondered if we would just rename Shadow Link into "Shadow Tag" since that was apparently the intent, but I see the answer is "no".)

EDIT: Oh, I forgot that I was going to suggest giving :florges: and/or maybe even :comfey: Leaf Guard too, but that's not terribly important either.

Otherwise, I'll just ask my actual question from yesterday:

As for my actual question from yesterday, I think I actually answered the question myself by thinking on it more given "Megas For All" and given that I'm slightly more lucid now, but I might as well still ask even if I look dumb: since it wasn't vetoed, I imagine that the different Abilities aspect for the Sawsbuck form entry that Swagodile submitted can be coded even though those mons don't show up in teambuilder separately until you select Sawsbucks itself, correct, Yoshiblaze?

I'm guessing the answer is "yes" but asking both out of curiosity and due to knowing that at least one of the Alcremie forms didn't properly display the abilities it actually had in-match given last Sunday even if those abilities still worked (and cost me the match).

Regardless, thanks in advance. See you for Slate 7 (which is...now) even if I'm going to wait a couple of days to submit things for Slate 7 given everything that needs to be done in real life right now--ugh.

Yup, that would be correct, because a similar coding thing was for Unown forms in Clean Slate 2, it should be possible to code the Sawsbuck forms as separate forms

Attacks
Name
: Self Destruct / Explosion / Misty Explosion
Power: 170 / 250 / 130
Accuracy: 100
PP: 5
Category: Phys / Phys / Spec
Type: Normal / Normal / Fairy
Effect: Halves opponent's defense when calculating damage. User faints. Misty Explosion: halves opponent's special defense when calculating damage. Deals 50% more damage in Misty Terrain.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Spread, Explosion
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Explosion: :walrein: :stonjourner: :reuniclus: :avalugg: :wobbuffet: :dubwool:
Self-Destruct: :porygon-z: :greedent: :typhlosion: :exploud: :flapple: :appletun:
Misty Explosion: :togekiss: :dedenne: :florges: :klefki: :rapidash-galar: :luvdisc: :electrode:
Justification: Gen 1-4 Explosion is an iconic move that shaped the metagames around it, and defined a decade of Pokemon formats. These moves are surprisingly flexible: they can take down a counter to an ally to create a sweep (a common team comp in GSC has boom Exeggutor for Zapdos so Vaporeon can sweep), they can lure in a counter (Gen 4 Heatran ran Explosion for Blissey) and even the threat of the move alone, even if you don't run it, puts people on edge to try and bait it.

Explosion/Self Destruct was nerfed in Gen 5, coincidentally with the advent of team preview. Restored boom moves in a team preview meta are very interesting as you can scout out potential boom victims (and, in return, can anticipate what your opponent wants to boom on), which really adds to the mind games aspect of these moves. It fits perfectly with their intended role as timed nukes.

Furthermore, the introduction of Misty Explosion as a special boom move gives boomers a way to target the other defense stat, which is often lower and means the boom won't be weakened by a burn. This could be useful for something like Rapidash, running SD + 2 Atks + boom, given that the set naturally lures in Def mons, only to misty boom on them. Or you can run misty boom on a mon like Mega Gardevoir to try and take down a Blissey since it does so much damage. Also, for maximum funnies, if your misty boom mon would be countered by Tapu Fini, things get wild.

Also shoutouts to :glalie-mega: and :golem-alola: for the 600BP STAB Explosion.

Name: Baton Pass
Power: 0
Accuracy: 100
PP: 40
Category: Status
Type: Normal
Effect: Switches the user out. Priority changes depending on user's highest stat change (ex. +4 Atk has +4 priority; -3 Def has -3 priority). If multiple stats have stat changes, pick the furthest away from 0 (if multiple stats have this, order is Atk>Def>Spe>SpA>SpD). No longer passes anything.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): none
Potential Pokémon With This Move: don't think it needs more
Justification: I have always loved Baton Pass but its so fundamentally broken that it needs a complete overhaul to be legal in a format. This rendition pays tribute to its stat passing brethren, allowing it to function as a fast or slow pivot depending on how you use it.

Name: Fishious Rend / Bolt Beak / Draco Dash / Arctic Assault
Power: 85
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Category: Physical
Type: Water / Electric / Dragon / Ice
Effect: First two keep the same effect. The latter two have a Core Enforcer effect.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact [Rend no longer bites]
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Draco Dash: :dracovish: :dracozolt:
Arctic Assault: :arctovish: :arctozolt:
...I guess you can give them to more mons if you really just want to watch the world burn
Justification: The nerf on Rend likely brings Dracovish into the tier again, and not overhauling the moves preserves Arctozolt's niche in OU, while keeping Dracozolt relatively the same mon. The new ones complete the fossil group of moves with a new effect to mirror the original moves. For the 'dracos', this is literally just a physical and weaker Core Enforcer, but Wishi has shown this is a cool move and so I think it would be cool. For the 'arctos', they gain the niche of having the only ability-suppressing moves without an immunity, and with their Rend/Beak move, they are going to be hard to switch into (risking double damage from Rend/Beak if you switch, or getting your ability negated by Dash/Assault). Also means Dracovish isn't entering the tier just nerfed from main, but gains a new toy that I'm sure it can use.

Items
Name:
Chili Pepper
Effect:Thaws the Pokemon when held, then consumes the item. While this Pokemon is holding this item, it is immune to burn.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10 and burns
Justification: Burn immunity could be really cool for physical mons and while freeze isn't common, when it does occur, it can be game-ending.

Abilities
Name:
Honey Gather
Effect: At the end of each turn, if this Pokemon has no item, it gets Honey. Knock Off doesn't get boosted against Pokemon with this ability.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :ursaring: (over Unnerve), :vespiquen: :munchlax: :snorlax: (over Gluttony) :wurmple: :silcoon: :beautifly: :cascoon: :dustox: :burmy: :wormadam: (all 3) :mothim: :cherubi: :cherrim: :heracross: (over Swarm) :exeggcute: :exeggutor: :exeggutor-alola: :crabrawler: :crabominable: (over Anger Point) :skwovet: :greedent: :emolga: :applin: :flapple: :appletun: (over Gluttony) :ekans: :arbok: (over Unnerve)
Justification: Changing Honey to be useful is really cool, but this ability is still useless. While a lot of these mons are weak to SR (and probably still run Boots), those that aren't definitely get some huge viability out of double Leftovers and, essentially, a Knock Off immunity.

Name: Gorilla Tactics
Effect: If this Pokemon moves first in the turn, or the foe switches out, it embargoes the target's item.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :simisear: :simipour: :simisage: :ambipom: :zarude: :primeape: :infernape: :oranguru: :passimian: :rillaboom:
Justification: So actual Guerilla Tactics involve ambushes, raids and sabotages, which I think fits with the new effect. And it lets us both unban Darm-G and allow the use of Chill Pill Darm-G-Zen. Most of these Pokemon are decently fast and so they'd probably get a lot of mileage out of the ability.

Name: Depolarize
Effect: This Pokemon's attacks ignore the Steel-type.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :vikavolt: :beartic: :empoleon: :klinklang: :dedenne: :togedemaru: :gigalith: :carbink: :solrock: :lunatone: :bronzing:
Justification: What Corrosion should've been. Gives a lot of mons with normally bad STAB the opportunity to break through the strongest defensive typing.

Name: Super Luck
Effect: This Pokemon's critical hit rate is based on its speed stat (calculated like Gen 1). Moves with increased crit rate have their crit chance increased to 8x the Pokemon's critical rate (also a Gen 1 effect).
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: :tauros: :electrode: :sirfetch :farfetch :kingler: :vespiquen: :persian: :perrserker: :persian-alola: :intellion: :grumpig:
Justification: Relatively obscure Gen 1 mechanic to be brought back is kinda neat in function. There are two crucial numbers to note. First is 34 base speed, which means this ability is a boost in crit rate compared to normal mons. The next is 64 speed. This number both matches Super Luck in function (a 12.5% crit rate), but also ensures the increased crit moves like Slash always crit. This could provide a cool way of buffing some Pokemon given that we can't buff stats, but increased crit (especially with auto-crit moves) can still amplify damage.

Moves

Name: Meteor Assault / Prismatic Laser / Rock Wrecker
Effect: Old effects + 100% acc instead of 90%. If this move KOs the opponent, no Recharge.
Justification: Bringing back the Gen 1 Effect makes for an interesting high risk high reward move. Immensely powerful but a massive momentum sink if you miss the KO. Limited to two signatures and a rare move because otherwise could be a bit centralising (Stater moves would be dumb on stuff like Gren and Giga Impact/Hyper Beam beibg on every mon is a reciepe for disaster)

Name: Bonemerang
Power: 50
Accuracy: 100%

Type:

Effect: Hits twice.
Priority: First hit +1 priority, last hit -1 priority.
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :cubone::marowak::marowak-alola::houndoom::lucario::mandibuzz:
Justification: Promptly stolen from OptiMons, this rework turns it into an utility move that can be used for the Wak cousins as means of Speed control. Other than them though, distribution would be rather limited. I listed lucario and Mandibuzz since they're the only other mons to get Bone Rush, and Houndoom for its visible bones.

Justification: Ground coverage designed to be given to Poisons and Bugs so they can deal with Steel better. Conceptually though should go mostly to Poisons, Sludgy/Gooey stuff, Amphibians and other mud-dwelling or swamp-dwelling mons, with the eventual Ground STAB user. Can look at Mud Bomb and Mud Shot distrib for reference.

Justification: Based on the saying of "To Add Insult To Injury", this move is a wallbreaking and stallbreaking tool. It contributes to the Status Spam strat that has been going on thanks to the Merciless buff, and is otherwise a decent Utility move.

Bag_Adrenaline_Orb_Sprite.png

Name: Adrenaline Orb
Effect: This Pokemon's Speed is raised by 1 if any of its stats that is lowered by a foe. Consumeable.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30, raises target's Speed
Justification: Slight buff so it has more chances to activate

1641328966395-png.396471

Name: Iron Ball
Effect: Extends the duration of Gravity to 8 turns. Holder is grounded, if Flying type, takes neutral Ground damage.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored By Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 130
Justification: Paired with Gravitas, allows for better usage of Gravity teams. Best OU Gravitas mon rn is a Mega though so you'd need to find other setters for Iron Ball.

Adjustments

:sm/sliggoo::sm/goodra:
Type:
Dragon.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Sticky Hold / Hydration / Gooey
New Moves: Corrosive Gas
Justification: Simple buff that goes miles. Dragon/Poison is a very good defensive typing and they have the fatness to back it up. Now also got the new Life Dew. Not much else to say here really.

:ss/kangaskhan::ss/kangaskhan-mega:
Type:
Normal.png

Abilities: Early Bird / Scrappy / Natural Cure --
mega.png
--> Parental Bond
Removed Moves: Seismic Toss
New Moves: Milk Drink, Slash, Crush Claw, Play Rough, Play Nice, Bulk Up, Poison Jab
Justification: Mega Kanga no longer has the busted move that 2HKOs everything. This should by all means make it fine to drop to OU, as its otherwise a pretty tame mon, it faces some compoetition from Mega Lop and the multiple Contact punish in this gen help keep it in check.

:ss/xurkitree:
Type:
Electric.png

Abilities: Beast Boost / Grassy Surge
New Moves: Synthesis, Mega Drain, Giga Drain, Grassy Glide, Leech Seed, Overheat, Swords Dance
Justification: Gives Xurk a cool second ability option, giving it pseudostab on Grass, weakening Earthquake and otherwise some cool utility with its moves.

:sm/hatterene:
Abilities: Tough Claws / Power of Alchemy / Magic Bounce
New Moves: Sucker Punch, Knock Off, First Impression, Superpower, Grass Knot, Throat Chop, Curse
Justification: Allows for some mix ups in its sets, letting it run ocasional Mixed coverage. Tough Claws Draining Kiss does sound pretty interesting, and it gets First Impression and Sucker Punch for utility. Physical sets actually hit slightly harder with TC Play Rough than Special with Dazzling Gleam. Lastly, Curse is really interesting for physical TR sets.

Name
: Anabolism / Huff & Puff (can’t decide lol)
Power: -
Accuracy: -
PP: 10 (16)
Category:

Type:
Fighting.png

Effect: Raises User’s Speed by 2 stages, Accuracy by 1, and increases crit chance.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Snatch,
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :hariyama: :machamp: :crabominable: :conkeldurr: :pangoro: :grapploct: :throh: and other really slow pokemon (<60 spe) that may be grateful for this buff, like :gumshoos:
Justification: Really slow fighting type pokemon are something that’s incredibly common, this intends to buff em to be usable and have more versatility, especially the not so bulky ones, but even the latter should have an relatively easy time to set up.

Items

:adrenaline-orb:
Name: Adrenaline Orb
Effect: Raises holder's Speed by 1 stage if it gets affected by Intimidate. Negates Intimidate attack dropping. (No longer single use)
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 20 bp, raises target's speed harshly and confuses it.
Justification: Now its usable. (also would have a niche in vgc with fling?)

Name: Rocky Boom

Effect: User faints after the move is used. Sets stealth rocks on both sides of the field. Targets defense is halved during calculation.
Priority: 0
Flags:
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Rock types that get explosion or self-destruct, and a few ground types that get the same
Justification: You may be thinking, Voolpool, why the hell would you ever want to set rocks on your own side of the field? The answer is simple: coal engine. Coal engine strats have been quite unreliable as a lot of times, rocks just aren't available to you. So how bout you make it so you can set your own rocks, without relying on your opponent to click the doggone move, and boom, let the coal engine train rip.

Potential Pokémon With This Move: Old Distrubtion + :cinderace: :heatran: :houndoom: :emboar: :Pyroar:
Justification: Flame burst is really bad when moves like flamethrower and overheat exists, so a priority buff would make it worth using. Also flame burst camerupt go brrrr.

Potential Pokémon With This Move: Same distribution + :exploud: :toxtricity: | :dracozolt: :dragapult: :dracovish:

Name: Hydration
Effect: This Pokemon has its status cured at the end of each turn if Rain Dance is active or if hit by Water moves; Water immunity.
Permanent (Yes or No): no
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: current distribution + :ludicolo:, :Toxicroak: :Quagsire:, :suicune:, :Mantine:, :muk:/:muk-alola:(?) etc.
Justification: Hydration is a niche ability as is, relying on rain to cure status, so i decided to give it some use outside of rain as a Water Absorb Sidegrade that heals status instead of HP. with this, you can heal off any Toxic Poison or Paralysis by being hit with a water type move, making any Scald users like :wishiwashi-school: and especially :toxapex: think twice about spamming it. however, you will still need a reliable source of recovery to use this ability proper, as you don't gain any hp from it.
also Manaphy goes a little bit harder but a water immunity on a mon with a water resist anyway shouldn't break things that much.

:swsh/Audino-mega:
Name: Audino-Mega
Type: Normal/Fairy
Abilities: Fairy Aura
New Moves: Moonblast, Counterspell
Removed Moves: none
Justification: Mega Audino is a decent looking mon at first. great bulk, good coverage, proper healing in the buffed Life Dew, setup in Calm Mind and status removal in Heal Bell... and then you look at the useless ability and immediately dismiss it. let's fix that.
Fairy Aura gives it a way of boosting its typically-mediocre damage output, at least with Fairy attacks. Moonblast and Counterspell give it good Fairy STABs to use instead of Dazzling Gleam. those aside, it really doesn't need that many new tools to be usable.
